I was at this concert and I was quite annoyed with all the chatter. I was surrounded by people coming and going, I realized later that most of the attendees were there for Willie. I have been a huge fan of Alison Krauss and Union Station since I was 16. So, I was there for them. They were amazing! I will be definitely attending another one of their concerts. I laughed, I cried, I sang along...best anniversary gift I ever got from my husband. :)
Her voice is the most dynamic in the world...always loved her
I love A.Krauss and Union Station. Each of them are superb musicians of the highest caliber. I saw the Louisville concert in 2002 where their immense talent was appreciated by the audience as it should be. This group deserves an audience intelligent enough to appreciate their harmonies, and individual instrumental skills. I am so dismayed by the disrespect of loud talking at this concert. People out there please realize performers feel like a bar band when loud talking goes on during a concert. Krauss and Union Station are enchanting everytime.
You won't find a more classy and beautiful lady in all of music than Alison Krauss. Union Station....what a band.

I would like to echo the comments of reddragonready. Thank you so much for capturing and posting the whole concert (why don't AKUS produce more DVDs!). A great treat for those of us outside the US to watch this; I always try to see Allison perform when she tours the UK. (I also could not agree more about those disrespectful people who chatter during concerts.)
concert talkers are the worst but I was backstage/ and stage right ( blessed ) at this performance and from stage you couldn't hear anything but beautiful music, not a bit of chatter/talking and minimal yelling. One of best concerts I have ever attended.

Don't think I've ever seen Jerry play a regular acoustic guitar. A rare thing for me to see. Alison, from what I hear, can play multiple instruments as well.
it would be nice if the people were quiet. give these guys gave the this awesome band the the respect they deserve.
I wish they would release the Soundstage concert. You can find it on RUclips or stream it with Qello Concerts. I would buy it in a heartbeat if it came out.

She is soooo talented, yea! Gotta have one of the best female voices (& heart) that projects out into us; if not t-h-e best.

Hey man, gotta addendum this here post. Think I’d have smacked some heads there so they’d SHUT UP! Pay good money & get the opportunity to sit back & take-in Alison & her click’N band, Union Station. Then have a buch of “social clubers” yacking it up. Guess people now-a-days just don’t recognize true talent. In the least, they do Not honor it.

Appalling that some people in this audience are so rude! Alison Krauss and the Union Station are amazing artists. I live in the rocky mountains and I remember how rude some people were in my community when AKUS came to Montana to perform. I think this is really about a culture of narcissism.

The combination of ticket prices and people's inconsiderate behavior at concerts have just about ruined these events. So sad, live music can be an amazing experience.
Ernest P Yeah, Usually an AKUS concert is full of respectful music lovers but this tour for some reason, AKUS opened for WIllie Nelson. Needless to say, Willie's fans are a bit more rowdy than most. That being said, I don't think AKUS should be the opening act for anyone...period.

Very true. They shouldn't be any band's opening act. Willie's stoner biker-cowboy fans don't respect the musicians or the audience that came to hear the music, not get drunk & party. It's why I opted out of seeing AKUS when they came to town 2 years ago with Nelson. Not worth the $80 to put up with noisy jerks in the crowd.

Where was this held? Racer stadium? I worked for WFGE, Froggy 103.7 back when they went on-air (march 17th, 1997) as Tim the Toadman Taylor. Good memories.
Why go to a concert with such an outstanding bluegrass ensemble and talk the whole way through it? If I was there live I would be distracted by the constant chatter surrounding me.
If those people had something to discuss that was so much more interesting than the music (which I seriously doubt) why didn't they go outside? Annoying.
I've always wanted to see AKUS in concert. The idiots that wouldn't shut up here have me rethinking whether or not I would enjoy it. I can't tolerate such stupidity and inconsiderate behavior.
I saw AKUS at the Ryman in 2001. It was a religious experience.
Adolph Oliver Bush I saw her and union station in 1993 Blackburn Park bluegrass festival in Dahlonega, GA. Still have the t-shirt she sign, she was little thing with dark hair voice of an angel, I knew she was headed for stardom, I guess anyone that heard knew that. It was great day, Grandpa Jones, Doc Watson, Tony Rice, Doyle Lawson etc...
