My grandma used to sleep with tape on her forehead aswell when she was younger to prevent wrinkles. She's 70 years old now and she still got as much wrinkles as an average old person. Don't bother y'all, there's nothing wrong with getting older

As some who does YOGA and inversions , has a photosentive urticara so cannot go into the sun and doesnt smile in public f I am alone - I can tell you that I dont have any wrinkles. But I am not part of any anti wrinkle community - that is just how I roll. I also love Korean skin care products - so have that shiny glass skin. I was a teacher for years and we were instructed never to frown or look angry at the kids as it was negative . So Yep that all works - the people I taught have more wrinkles than me now.

So literally all I could dio is stare and send them out the room even if they hit other kids. So I guess my life has NOT been good that is why my face is now wrinkle free. I cant even frown - even if I tried as I have never used those muscles

As a woman in her thirties. I'm pretty glad that I stopped caring about aging. I actually got excited when I turned 30. I have more confidence and find myself beautiful. I never felt that way in my twenties. Also it helps when I ignore tiktok like the plague 😂
Exercise, healthy diet & avoiding stressing about little things (like wrinkles) is probably the best anti ageing thing you can do. My moms 51 this year, she never even moisturized and she only started getting wrinkles when she developed an autoimmune disease and had to take heavy meds for it. She still looks relatively young tho, since she never smoked or drank & stayed active and healthy for many years
same i never had any lines or anything but after an autoimmune skin illness i have crazy fast wrinkling. please could you ask her what her medicine she uses? or what her diagnosis is? my doctors cant find any specific name for my condition just sort of brushes it off and wont look into it too much, because it «isnt seemingly dangerous and just superficial». but it still upsets me since this isnt my real self, not normal anging since this only happened because of illness

One of the best recipes you can cooks is mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, time, garlic, spinach drizzle with olive oil and put it in the oven for about 15 minutes. It's actually really good. I'm 55 and give no shits. I've done some of the facial yoga things but not really consistently. And I live in the Caribbean, barely wear moisturizer or sunscreen because it's too hot. Whatever will happen, will happen. I'm amazed at all the cosmetic surgery and procedures young people are having. I watch some plastic surgeons on YT who say no one should have a facelift or too many fillers until late 50s, early 60s because once you start, everything has to be updated every 5 years or so. However as the teacher I have strict instructions never to show any negative expressions on my face - no frowning, anger or sneering- so no movement in my face . I recently taught a dance class at univetsity and when I looked at the students and myself in the mirror - I had to look about 10 years older than them if that. People aren’t ageing faster, you are just more focused and judgy on the ones that have premature wrinkles. Most teens still don’t have wrinkles, some are just bound to get them earlier due to stress and/or frequent sun exposure in their youth. For example if a teen has vacationed in Hawaii every summer as a child and their parents didn’t bother about sunscreen then they might get early fine lines by the time they’re in their late teens because of all the sun damage that will catch up with them. It’s attitudes like this that make young women today worry and criticise themselves too much about looking their age, the toxic mindset of people judging women who don’t look 10-20 years younger is a big problem.

The reality is pretty much no matter what you do wrinkles and other signs of aging are GOING TO HAPPEN. I feel like they'll happen even faster when you do nothing but obsess over it and stress your skin out with a million chemicals and all these weird techniques pulling on your skin and stretching it probably making it lose its natural elasticity.
I've just got to say I'm autistic and I don't have wrinkles like other 37 year olds because I've obviously not made facial expressions like 'normal' people. Take that for what you will. I would assume it would be extremely hard for someone to teach themselves to not move the muscles in their face.

One of the best recipes you can cooks is mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, time, garlic, spinach drizzle with olive oil and put it in the oven for about 15 minutes. It's actually really good. And better then wrinkle cream or face tape.

I'm 55 and give no shits. I've done some of the facial yoga things but not really consistently. And I live in the Caribbean, barely wear moisturizer or sunscreen because it's too hot. Whatever will happen, will happen. I'm amazed at all the cosmetic surgery and procedures young people are having. I watch some plastic surgeons on YT who say no one should have a facelift or too many fillers until late 50s, early 60s because once you start, everything has to be updated every 5 years or so. He'll to the nah. Don't have time, money, or desire to risk my life for vanity.

That is because people are ageing fatster. As a teacher I have never seen so many forehead wrinkles, smile lines and neck rings in teens in my life. However as the teacher I have strict instructions never to show any negative expressions on my face - no frowning, anger or sneering- so no movement in my face . I recently taught a dance class at univetsity and when I looked at the students and myself in the mirror - I had to look about 10 years older than them if that. Girls in their early 20s showing signes of smile lines and crows feet. Whereas I just have two minsicule smile lines . So I can see why anti ageing is big for GEN Zs,

@@MsMrReason There’s nothing wrong with having wrinkles, at least those girl with crows feet have laughed and live their lives with joy… Also nobody is a better person in any way just because they have less wrinkles. People aren’t ageing faster, you are just more focused and judgy on the ones that have premature wrinkles. Most teens still don’t have wrinkles, some are just bound to get them earlier due to stress and/or frequent sun exposure in their youth. For example if a teen has vacationed in Hawaii every summer as a child and their parents didn’t bother about sunscreen then they might get early fine lines by the time they’re in their late teens because of all the sun damage that will catch up with them. It’s attitudes like this that make young women today worry and criticise themselves too much about looking their age, the toxic mindset of people judging women who don’t look 10-20 years younger is a big problem.

The reality is pretty much no matter what you do wrinkles and other signs of aging are GOING TO HAPPEN. I feel like they'll happen even faster when you do nothing but obsess over it and stress your skin out with a million chemicals and all these weird techniques pulling on your skin and stretching it probably making it lose its natural elasticity.

I've just got to say I'm autistic and I don't have wrinkles like other 37 year olds because I've obviously not made facial expressions like 'normal' people. Take that for what you will. I would assume it would be extremely hard for someone to teach themselves to not move the muscles in their face.
