GET FPV has great customer service , they swapped it out. Only problem is it went bad about two weeks ago. Ended up getting a Zenmuse again and it went bad in two flights. There is not a good gopro gimbal out there. DJI Phantom 3 is what I ended up with and like it a lot but I can only get 1 battery until they start selling them. Another DJI issue that pisses me off. I'll also try the 3d a Robotics solo.

I noticed you used the 2.3 version of the software/firmware. Does this mean the Yaw motor will not work using other versions like the 2.4 b7 and only on 2.3 version will the Yaw motor will be recognized? What exactly did you do to make the GUI recognize the YAW motor. I tried loading and running version 2.3, but when I run the GUI and try to connect the USB cable to the gimbal, it was giving me an error message saying that the board version is not compatible with the firmware. How do I make the changes to make it compatible?

I got the Profiles from the maker of the Gimbal and automatically the YAW box was active... strange because I looked around to see if there was anything different and the values where different but all of a sudden the YAW box was open for input...

I have the same issue. Got it from GetFPV.com going back soon for refund. I just know for sure I will not be going back to a Zenmuse h33d, had big issues with that gimbal also after a few months.

Michael Gomez Ive had it twice. Never buying a DYS again. This is clearly a well known about fault. Chineese company so no real way to get this repaired or swapped.

Sorry, I forgot to update this post when I finally got it working. Here is a link to my Photo Bucket album containing screenshots of the SimleBGC GUI software & gimbal configurations:

How did you get the Yaw motor to turn on?

It turned out to be a configuration issue. I updated my post with the fix months ago via the comments. Here is a link to screen captures of my configurations that work for me: s558.photobucket.com/user/naamang/library/Quadcopter/DYS%203%20Axis%20GoPro%20Brushless%20Gimbal%20Configurations?sort=9&page=1

Ok, your motor power is way to low. Set your roll to about 130 and your pitch to about 90. Your pid controller is showing that the yaw is not turned on, when you get that turned on set that motor power to about 120 or 130 and go from there. Just look for some setup vids on RUclips and you will get it solved. Good luck.

Ive had it happen twice now. Never buying a DYS again. This is clearly a well known about fault. Chineese company so no real way to get this repaired or swapped. My stuff isnt greyed and no amount of power up or down makes it work. Its just lazy and sometimes it works and sometimes not.
