We just had a new liner installed, and the light housing were so cracked that we had to cap them and just run the liner over them. I like the idea of these (especially the magnetic version I saw). Only issue is I want control of the lights. I don't want them on all night every night.
I bought this in 2021 and it also didn’t last for 2 years . We are in AZ and our pool’s lights went out and thought this was a good temporary option. we enjoyed it except
It kept falling off. We have a diving pool and it did just fine under the diving board. But It would only be up for a week or so then fall off … then I’d have to put it back up again. They sent me extra adhesive free of charge but I wish it just stuck to the pool wall!!
Why didn't you just buy a decent underwater adhesive from the local store?
@@walt9740 do you have a tried and true underwater adhesive?
@@rinnaharris yeah because I own a pool and it's too expensive to empty it just to stick a couple tiles back on it works fine
I got on and it didnt last 2 years in Florida The Sunshine State ..emailed the manufacturer and they told me tough luck ..waste of money
Very strange, we usually get 7 years minimum
@@PiscinaLiner Its probably a bum unit ..Im gonna try pulling it apart and replace the battery if I can ..nothing to lose I guess

can this be installed with a pool full of water or does the pool need to be drained first?

thanks for the prompt reply - I love these lights - deciding on the deep blue or moonlight - anywhere I can see a comparison? in this video was it moonlight or deep blue?

Will this attach to concrete painted pool?
Yes, as long as the paint isn't flaking
How long does the light last when it comes on? Any Battery replacement required after months or years of service? Any residue if you remove it?
The light lasts all night and turns off at sunrise. The light has a lifespan of 7 years, can't answer about the residue as we have never removed one!
When new the light was awesome and lasted all night or at least most of the night ..I still cannot figure why someone would put a pool in with no light WTF

Yes, as long as that wall gets plenty of sunlight!
I have a inground pool with liner. The video pool isn’t a liner pool. Do you have something for my pool

99% pools have a cover. How efficient is the solar light? 😁
Much less than 99% have covers here in Spain. I guess if it's summer and you are using the pool the cover won't be used? But that's a good question!
