I didnt know i was claustrophobic when i was 9 and went into the ape caves and got to the spot where it got tight and close and i burst out in TEARS and had nightmares from it lol
I explored these caves with my dad when I was 8 years old, and again when I was 10. There’s this one section called “The Waterfall” that’s a 10 foot drop straight down. Getting down that is actually really fun and terrifying at the same time. They put a climbing rope on it a couple of years ago because so many people got hurt. They block off the small areas too, but there are no rangers inside, so nobody pays attention to the signs.

Came from tiktok I love the ape caves, it's sad they are constantly closing though. The time I was able to go we ended up meeting some people who took the difficult route through a hole in the cave wall. And because we took the easy route we didn't have to take jackets, just lots of water😅

I can accept the little girl was terrified and these young men would have hardly noticed her earlier at the entrance and they most likely did reunite her with her parents. I love the ape caves, it's sad they are constantly closing though. The time I was able to go we ended up meeting some people who took the difficult route through a hole in the cave wall. And because we took the easy route we didn't have to take jackets, just lots of water😅

I can accept the little girl was terrified and these young men would have hardly noticed her earlier at the entrance and they most likely did reunite her with her parents. So hats off to all involved for that.
