X-ray machines using Radisotopes isotopes cobalt-60 or Iridium-192 that are highly dangerous in the hands of the wrong people may try to strip it down for scrap metal that don't know anything about the machines. The machines may not been in that building. But it wouldn't be the first time someone ran around a city spreading high doses of radiation with an X-ray isotope make people close to it super sick and /or unaliving them. With it already a radical active area they might not be able to detect it until it's to late. These isotopes are just as dangerous as nuclear fuel rods. Js
Actually that's insane
Shhhh don't be given ideas! Have some depressed nut job mad at the world. think that's a good idea and attempt something real stupid.
Wow crazy
Just be careful looks like someone s*** the bed on one of those lol
Scary
Great content but not a big fan of the clickbaity title on this one. There was no reference to it at all. You can do better than that Josh! :/
I second this! In fact, I almost didn't watch as I was concerned about that. I had family living in Tokyo at that time, and it was very frightening. The aftershocks went on for many months, and one of my family members couldn't even sit in 4d cinema seats due to the vibration being too close to the earthquake and the fear she had for another big one like the poor people of Fukashima had.
You sir just saved me 40 minutes of my life and I salute you
Man i wasted my time watching this cause of the title😭
probably because of how dangerous and risky it was to film this, probably
@@KrisCrossssss That's what I was thinking, probably correct.
Bullet trains are dangerous. They go 200 mph and you can’t hear them coming. *casually walks across the tracks*
Just to make it more suspenseful. He’s thinking people are that stupid.
He checked the timetable
It's not a Bullet trains because it's a single track. It's the Joban Line (常磐線).The maximum speed is 100km/h(62mph).
Why did he lie… now i cant watch him because he keep on lying his videos
@@moonieperez6721 no need to think, we know that people are stupid! xD
How or where do you explain "the day I almost quit youtube" in this video?
I think it’s just a title because of the dangers they faced to make this video
It's for views.
My question exactly tbh
This is what I hate ! He has such a good following why put that tittle out when there i s really no need to. Come on Josh !
@@lallen6477omg. Get off his jock
As a nurse who has worked in hospitals, I know that blood stains once dried out turn brown from oxidation and are not bright red. The red stuff seen is likely some sort of paint or ink. Nobody likes misleading cickbait videos as that gets accounts shut down.
in one spot you can see a huge blood stain on a floor though, i’ll go back through the video and find the timestamp.
edit: 26:01 if you pause you can see it on the floor by the bed
@@ilTHfeaa
Thank you. I didn’t see the blood stain. When I watch the video.
Yep also know that from.. personal experience can confirm! But dried up blood is also commonly mixed up with water stains soooo yeah
These guys that do these type of videos don't seem to take too much precaution in mold spores that are lying dormant, they don't wear gloves or any thing to protect their eyes and some don't even wear masks.
Nurse here and agreed.
I feel like Josh is one of the only RUclipsrs that will survive in the Zombie Apocalypse. Absolute survivor vibes
Josh definitely will know a good hiding spot😊
I will only survive by having the best hiding spots
Apart from that he don’t much else going for him lol 😂😅
@@ExploringWithJoshyou will survive because your the camera men 🤌🏼
Steve as well
confused on the almost quitting youtube part?
We all got clickbaited
26:01 theres blood on the floor right next to the bed its there but he never say anything about it
12:46 you really shouldn't be touching hospital stuff like this. not without gloves at least, be more careful next time.
😅😅😅 yes all RUclips explore ar dum except Sam Colby
I was looking for a comment like this. Metal holds so much radiation. Especially when opening doors and what not. Please please wear more protection!
Gotta' say, man, usually, I'm down for urban exploring, but this one I'm not on board for. There's a reason people have issues with foreigners in Japan. It's a bit different if its a Japanese, but there's been such an issue with foreigners completely disregarding rules, regulations, and privacy in the country. It gives us a bad name. Adding to this, its a very, VERY dangerous place to venture into without the proper coverings on your entire body, especially when this part of the country hasn't had the soil removed. You can take back some of the contamination you've walked through on your clothing, shoes, and equipment- even in relation to just the spreading of mold spores. It's really not safe for those filming and others.
Regarding rules and privacy, that's urban exploring in general. But when a place is completely abandoned, and you don't wreck or take anything, or name anyone, I think it's okay as long as you assume the risk. Shouldn't matter if it's foreign or domestic. You got a point about the radiation, though I'd hope he did his homework on how much is safe.
They didn't break anything or take anything or spraypaint anything, and they had radiation detectors. And they left it just the way they found it.
If this is how everyone explored, then I don't think it would even be that big of a big deal to that many people.
There are some valid points in here, but I think this stuff needs to be seen anyways. Because it won't be there forever
@@party4lifedudeExcept for bringing their health in danger that would make it more accessible indeed
My heart stopped with the Grudge noise, hell no!!! 😂😂😂❤ great video, i love it
time stamp???
Quality video from start to finish.
Why did you almost quit youtube though? There's no reference to that statement in the video at all.
I know right!
Maybe cause he had to rush to get in and out the red zone?
It's just a way to lure people in, to watch his videos.
It's so annoying but I have noticed that a lot of you tubers do this. It's a way to reel people into watching the videos unfortunately
@@anneclem5645 exactly just tell us the truth
I have been with your channel for 7-8 years. i used to come home from school to watch your videos. There have been heaps, as I can recall you went to your abandoned high school. I also remembered the cave when you found a lost kid, etc. Time goes so fast. I stopped watching your channel and came back during your haunted videos which at first didnt like but now i enjoy them
Welcome back! 😄
Hi I’m Japanese!! I actually looked up the doctor’s name you saw 32:12 and I found him he’s working in Tokyo but he said he used to be a doctor working in the Fukushima prefecture nearby a nuclear plant
Josh. Your cinematography & storytelling has continued to grow. It’s been awesome as a supporter to watch you for basically a decade now. Bravo sir. 🤍
why did he almostquit youtube
Been watching for 8 years haha
I'm 65 and have been watching Josh since 2017
Yeah she got it!
Those radition numbers was very unsafe in those woods
You all are def taking a risk
Be careful out there
Dude the Grudge noise while wearing headphones made me jump out of my skin! Amazing video, I always love the Japan content and really enjoyed that you still managed to provide light hearted moments despite the sadness of what happened.
I literally was waiting for the noise and I still got freaked out lmao
What part did it happen at?
@@zukafurukito6957 it was just sound effects added when editing for dramatic effect, not noises actually filmed in the video (that would have scared me big time haha)
Stupid question...if you are there and touching stuff arent you contaminated ? Going through the woods arent your clothes contaminated ? Is your rental car inside and hotel now contaminated? Isnt that why the stuff is still there and supposedly guarded to keep people out?
Very true, but on top of that, he and the others very likely are radioactive themselves for a little while after leaving. Up to the total dose of radiation they received.
The amount of radiation around you does not equal the amount that you receive. While large doses are dangerous, small ones are not. Usually those small doses can also be decontaminated by just cleaning them. The car was likely parked in an area that had small does amounts, which would be normal considering car’s intake of natural radiation is higher than that of a humans
They got checked the first time they went into the red zone. Im assuming they just keep going back to get checked and dont bother bringing it up.
❤
Love the videos bro, but I would like to suggest covering for your hands. .
What we touch can seep into the skin.
If you feel protection is needed for your face, I would consider proper gloves
shuld have brought one of those raditioan levels
I have been living in Japan for over 24 yrs now. And I love looking at paranormal and exploring shows on RUclips just yours.
I can see that you guys love Japan for sure. So I guess you guys should ask for permission instead of transpassing... Especially,
crossing a Shinkansen rail track like that is definitely a serious crime in Japan.
Looking forward to see more clips from your guys but please do them in a right way.
I feel the same way as you.. it is not good and very risky to do such things. It might make other young and very influenced kids to think this is fine and doable. There is a reason why it is in the redzone and people are not allowed.
How is it moving to Japan? since that is my dream some day.
I do agree with you except they would have never said yes seeing as it’s so dangerous to their health to go there
23:32 yoooo! an initial D manga!!! That guy was a fucking saint!!! Real anime manga fan there! For anyone that doesn’t know what initial d is,baisicslly a anime about a tofu driver that drives a Toyota ae86 and is a drift racer that would basically be this crazy good racer
Josh is my favorite Urban explorer!
I came across one of Josh's videos about 5 yrs ago & was hooked on abandoned watching Josh & Steve
Mine too
Mine too and also Sam and Colby.
I love to photograph abandons but I've never been out of North Carolina. Josh thanks for taking us with you all across the world
There is no blood! Cool video though keep it up and stay safe!👇🏚🦠🧪
You saved me 40 mins, great video though Josh👍
Well dang it, thank you for telling me
26:02 I found the blood
Why would you want to leave RUclips after this? I guess I missed it?
We got clickbaited hard smh
I can completely see how some people would feel deceived however..... I wouldn't ever stop watching Josh's videos if he titled it: The Horrifying Day I was molested by a Yeti in Yugoslavia 😂
Great video. But wear gloves man. It's disgusting how you all just grab everything with your bare hands. Wear gloves for your safety.
Josh, gloves gloves gloves!!! 🧤
Omg the amounts of black Mold!! Be carful!
the grudge noises were so unnecessary im watching this at night josh!! lmao
Haha deff creepy
The "Big empty block" is called a court yard and a lot of long term places have them. They're so the patients can get outside in the sun and fresh air in a contained and safe manor. When I worked at a psychiatric hospital, it was awesome in the summer as we spent most of the shifts outside in the courtyard having BBQ's and such with the patients. One guy couldn't wait to get outside to tend to his horses. His horses? They were the plant boxes. The mind is a funny little thing!
I love you josh, I’ve been here since the exploring crew Steve and John!! Back around 3k subs!! I can’t believe your at 5 mil man!! Your in the ecosystem now, your only going up!! Very inspiring!! Much love!!
✌️❤️
Anyone else hear the fart at 7:07 lol
sometimes tha mf done give u a choice in the matter frl- 💀 funny that no one caught that tho loll
I would have been sad if you would have stopped RUclips, seeing you was the very first RUclipsr that I subscribed to! I have been watching your stuff for years now and I have always in joyed the quality and risks you take for your viewers. Much appreciated without you I would not have been able to see so many interesting and beautiful places.
"Can be threatened with arrest" Shoulda warned Joeykaotyk. At least he got more fluent in Japanese during his vacation in the detention center.
Dude! You're not even wearing gloves!
Why you didn't check for a basement? Maybe operation rooms are there, as well as a morgue!
Stay safe.....sending love from Belgium xxx
This is so eerie to see they literally had to up and leave no matter what they were doing. Beds look unmade like they flung the covers off and ran
Yes it looks like they only just left kind of, apart from the dirt and damage etc
JOSH! I almost sht my pants with the random "the grudge" sound 😂😂😂 It's good! lmao
Wow this place is incredible 🤯awesome video Josh
YOOO true_explorerers I love your videos!
Glad that you people are wearing masks
Why's the ground so muddy ? Cmon josh it was a Tsunami
the way you all just touch everything made me a little anxious lol
And no gloves or protection in a red zone... Kept taking masks off
Truly fascinating Josh. It’s a bit surreal I bet being there. A place that at one time was busy and now time is doing what it does. I worked in state psychiatric unit in the 90s with only 2 units left open and a campus of 20 buildings. Closed entirely now and at one time it had thousands of residents. All grown over. Eerie.
Josh your one of my favorite people to watcg Urban expolre, Your videos have gotten better and better thru the years.
Thank youuu
@@ExploringWithJosh I wish that I could travel as much as you with amazing friends. Josh is so professional in this business. If I wasn’t financially struggling I would support you for your journeys. I need a miracle myself 😇😭
This almost looks like an LTAC (long term acute care, kinda like a nursing home but higher level) like we have in the States that could explain the lack of OR rooms. Looks like a lot of those poor people were residents of that building.
Idk if im tripping or hearing things.. but I hear a whisper or someone say something like if their breathing in the mic or whispering something at 20:25 😱😱
Cool video and all, but why did this make you wanna quit?
34:30........Security officer's bootprints......😬
Thast mask is doing absolutely nothing for you if you're wearing it for the radiation.
14:58 what is that right after josh says more abandoned vending machines 🤨
In 30:38 if you go look at the trees on the right side you will see a person with glowing eyes Zoom in 8.0X so you can see it
Wait yeah I see it
I remember the hospital....my grandma was there and..
I’m sorry for your loss.
a hospital has some blood stains? that would be a normal place for it no? if they didint clean it before they shut down
detention? is this school
While I wouldn’t want a lil 3d Josh I think it’d be cool to have 3d pics of the places you visit. Don’t know how well that’d work though 🤔 Awesome video per usual!
Hi Josh, your editing has gone to a new level, really cool. So tragic what happened to all of those people, it must have been utter chaos, devastation and so incredibly terrifying for them all. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 🥰
This explore was crazy! Insane seeing everything frozen in time also yall risked it for this explore glad you guys are ok
Josh stop doing ghost hunting with shity people and do just that it's amazing it's the best video of you i seen you take risk you shown other cultures and we can see the trauma of the past 100% amazing man respect brother
Like this comment if you like Josh videos ❤
There are moments in Josh's career that stand out.
One was when he was in Chernobyl and kept saying "I wonder who this guy is" every time he saw a picture of Lenin.
This is another. In Fukushima, wonders why there is mud on the floor and makes a comment about it being unusual for a hospital to have water damage.
He was even talking about how they took everything upstairs to find higher ground.
Josh is sort of my favourite. But not for the right reasons.
You know I notice a lot now I can look back and know the mud is from the tusnami which is crazy... But ATM while being there .. I would of never guessed.. crazy tho...
@ExploringWithJosh yeah, I get that. Things can be surreal in the moment. You know what has happened, but just doesn't seam real when you think about it.
I guess I've got to give respect for showing full honesty.
I think most people would have cut those bits put of the video.
You guys were really brave and really dumb for going there! You're lucky you didn't caught or sick from radiation!
34:27 isnt it weird how those shoe prints are placed?
Did you stay at the hotel and go to the airport in the same clothes and shoes you wore walking around that contaminated area?
It is too improbable. These people's filming behavior is uninformed and unregulated.
What they are doing is just like sightseeing without washing their feet, photographing private property without permission.
Why does no one comment on this fact? Are these acts heroic in your country? Criminal acts.
Love the videos me n the mrs watch them all!! Keep up the good work
yooo the initialD manga book, i would have taken it home not gonna lie :D
yall hear the whispered "yes" at 11:13
You should have worn GLOVES.
21:53 EVP girl crying in he distance?
granted most the moans and whistles are the wind it is windy outside but this pone didn't sound like the wind
this video giving me the chernobyl vibes..
Is it a reupload? I only ask because I swear you put this video out already.
@Josh you should make a 3d photo box like that.. and sell lil photos you take in your travels.. I'd buy some.
I like your show, Mr.Can you please use a gloves in your hands because you can get a disease
Very big sickness special in old hospital 🤞🫡🤝
This so sad! That was a nice hospital pre-2011.
I am Japanese. I was in elementary school when I experienced this disaster, we had to evacuate without knowing what happened at that time, and I miss it very much because the Japanese media does not report much on the last sight of the town.
Thank you very much.
Dude, with 4.5 million subscribers you make a fortune from RUclips, more each month than most make in a entire year. You ain't going nowhere. 😂
Great, amazing video but a very bad title since it has nothing to do with the video itself.
20:04 holy shit
my heart skipped a beat😅😅
22:37 i pooped my pants
Loved it, but yeah the title, i don't care. But maybe Josh using this title as sarcasm to other RUclipsrs that are using this kind of title😂
There is such bad water damage because the red zone got hit by the tsunami, Which is what follows after a strong earthquake, so it flooded the hospital! Actually, I'm surprised the water damage wasn't worse. 😮
Why dont the others wear masks your the sensible one wish you'd wear gloves when touching vialls
Those in the small bottles are human blood
That was crazy those wasps or bees 😮 glad you guys didn't get stung
22:38 hits me right on the nerve!
This is straight out of a zombie movie.
Get out, take a shower and drink something. And change your clothes! Seriously!
A little backstory on the futaba hospital, their evacuation seems to have been really messy and unorganised and they had to leave behind patients for a few days. by 16th march they finally evacuated everyone but the result of it was 47 patients dying. it was a hospital but also a hospice/elderly home for elderly people who didn't have have anywhere left to go after the recovered or didn't have anyone who would take them in. they did also handle patients with mental disabilities - some where just dumped their by their own family, their parents or their mental disabled children... and many of the elderly were bedridden, that kind of place. It's very sad
Did you try to find the basement? Any hospital I ever been to as a nurse, has long corridors underground that have access to everywhere in the hospital. It would be very interesting to have a comment from someone that was in this hospital when everything happened. Love your content still, almost 3 years now.
Without gloves and proper clothing in a radioactive area that’s crazy 😮
That's what I was thinking when I first watched this video. I agree.
24:00 Crazy how the batteries still work in the radio!! 😮
Why is it that RUclipsrs like to record themselves breaking laws and rules?
Like if you believe englands coming home wooooo
All the locked doors remind me of silent hill 1 video game
And the random wheelchairs too
Congratulations for 4.5 million subscribers.. hope you guys travel safely. Much love from Kansas City, KS!
bruh 22:36 my heart dropped thought the guy came back for his pic..
I don’t remember exactly when I found you but I remember it was at my old house and before I ever had my son(8 years) and your content always makes me feel like I did back then. Creeped out but intrigued, and you’ve improved so much!
Thanks so much I like that feeling creeped out and intrigued That's nice actually haha
red zone ....you need to check with a doctor when you get home...radiation....
Babe I'm watching this at 3am. while eating... in my dark living room... THAT SOUND SPOOKED ME!
You know Josh that they suffered a huge tsunami in 2011and there fire the floor being of mud,it would have something to do with that
damn u call that a spider??!! come to Australia Josh and see how big our spiders are
Good vid guys u shud take care going in places wid radiation enjoyed it xx ❤❤
Why did you almost die? Nothing was shown of you nearly dying 🙄🙄🙄
Wow the effort and stuff you go through to bring us these videos Josh can't say I appreciate it enough your awesome thanks man
