Shouldn't passive hyperextension of the neck help to make is easier for the pulpation of deeper muscle layers?? Also lifling the shoulders passively relaxes the trapezius even more.
Hello, my name is Andrew. I'm a 19 year old college student. I have been battling daily headaches and muscle tension for over a year. I have tried everything from brain scans to allergy testing to chiropractor. I'm currently trying Atlas Orthogonal. I've had maybe 4 adjustments done and haven't received any relief. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know. Thank you so much.

I'm a little confused, you say to palpate the rectus capitis posterior major in MPT1, but you are applying pressure nowhere near the highlighted muscle
Keep in mind we're looking at a 2d diagram of 3d structures, pressure is applied medially at the compartment overlap of the trap, and then downward to access the belly of the target muscle
Hello, I live in Turkey. I'm tired of the visual snow. I see a couple and I'm surprised. There is a theory that the capit muscle causes vision problems. what is your opinion about it. I am interested in the phone and the book for 8 hours a day. my neck may be very tired.

I thought manual therapy doesn't cause any changes to the muscle as per your "how manual therapy works" video?
I find at therapy the room is filled w people a therapist has 2 or more patients. This was never done for me. Seems pretty basic knowledge.
We hear that a lot that one on one therapy is not standard for all patients. Sorry to hear you had a subpar experience with physiotherapy.
In India ,Mpt is masters of physiotherapy..:l😅
That's the case in a lot of other countries as well, p.e. Canada.
How chiropractor differs from physiotherapy !!!
Chiropractors traditionally use manipulations as interventions and physiotherapy rather focuses on exercise therapy and mobilizations.
@@Physiotutors although in clinical practice we are using manipulation also in PT
Thankyou for above details 😊
Us as well, but at least in the Netherlands, you have to do an additional 3 years Master's degree in Manual Therapy for it.
Physiotutors so manipulative approach not the main therapy in physical therapy
No, based on evidence it should be seen as an adjunct to exercise therapy, but it also differs with every patient
