As the adapter was not in the marker but on the barrel. This could be fixed by tightineng the top screw to lock the breach in place. This would ofc cause you to not remove the adapter that easy,(need to losen screw again) but adapter can just stay in there. Its kinda worse if one leve the while barrel inn(for storage, bigger size)
There are literally 2 set screws in the top rail that apply pressure to a ball bearing that locks the barrel in place and eliminates barrel wobble. Current gen T15 (builder's kit) that I got at last year's Fulda Gap with an 18" hammerhead barrel, MCS handguard, M50 reverse ported muzzle break and I have no barrel wobble without this product. it is not needed. Tighten the screws locking the barrel in place and your fine.
@@TheWulfbayne Thanks. I'll look into it before I go paintballing today because my stock barrel has no wobble, but the new Inception Barrel Kit I bought while it fits with the autococker adapter, it does wobble a small amount, which I of course want to remedy.
Funny, I was buying replacement parts to see if it can change the play... I was in the process of designing my own because I was upset 😢. I’ll still design my own since I’m engineer things any.
This should come stock on all new t15's, the fact that you need to buy this for a $600 marker is crazy and turns me off from wanting to get one of these
That's what I don't like about the First Strike products...you pay for products that aren't designed to the end and then you have to buy upgrades to fix the problems. Did FS not see "mistakes" in the design and prototypes?
i totally hear you, but in my experience first gens ALWAYS have some kind of issues, no matter who makes them. i'm just thankful this issue can be solved with a relatively inexpensive part.
First strike makes little money selling to the paintball community. Most sales go to the US Army. They most likely don’t care enough about these little issues. Or have their own solutions.
*Is it possible to get the barrel out, even if the new nut is tightened?* :O I am playing a FREAK-Set on my T15. So if I imagine I have to take off the handguard to change my freak-insert is quite annoying me :D it is wobbling, but fortunately not as much as your example did if I tighten up the barrel screw... :D
I hope that those who acquire a new FS-Scout will get this piece with their markers as the barrel shaking is horrible. Those of us who already have it have no choice but to buy this piece to fix the design flaw But to be honest, it's better late than never I hope to have it in a few weeks
Imagine all the people who changed their handguard and barrel nut and FS's solution to barrel wobble is a nut that they can't use on their newly bought handguard. Edit: ohhh that's me..
And I agree for the most part. My stock barrel nut has seen a few handguards itself. But a lot of milspec handguards use set screws that directly attach handguard to nut. In stead of the stock clamping system. Im going to get one anyway for my short T15 that uses the aggressor handguard. Thanks for the super quick upload though!
Is any one else having issues with first strikes not loading into the breach of their scout? My first strikes get stuck every time I cock back the handle, I've insured that the barrel is in place and have tightened the screw that holds the barrel in. I have also made sure that all my V2 mags are secured at the stop and that the metal clamp isn't loose. curious if anyone has any fixes.
is it possible to barrel swap the milsig m17 with a longer barrel to get more accuracy? kuz the 7inch barrel it comes with looks like it wouldn't as accurate as say the first strike T15 rifle
This is why I stick with Tippmann. All my barrels are threaded, instead of quick-release, giving a snug, stable lock-up every time. It's slower for barrel cleaning on the field, but I use a pull-through squeegee on mu 98, so, meh.
I dont get it. There is a little screw on top where you Insert the barrel. After pluggin in the barrel I tighten it up....and no shaking. 20 inch barrel btw. And I just loose it a bit again and can easy remove the barrel without handguard adjustment.
Your sar should have a small screw on the top rail above where your barrel screws in. If you tighten this screw down while the barrel is inserted, your wobble will virtually disappear.
Am I the only oben noticing that you now have to remove the handguard everytime you wana clean your barrel? Makes the bajonett shit obsolete... There are much better after market solutions on their way ... sleeves with a5/cocker ...
These kinda suck... it’s way larger than the barrel and you have to tighten it down all the way super tight for it to barely touch since it wedges a oring down onto the barrel on a chamfer. Also if you get any breaks you would have to unscrew your handguard and unscrew this in order to get your barrel out especially if you have an adapter for other barrels it won’t slide though unless disassembled. 🙃 still bought it tho
@@jamesandkendraholmes4608 I can confirm that it's not like that at all. The barrel can easily be removed without messing with the front handguard. The sleeve has an o-ring that stops the barrel from wobbling, but doesn't clamp the barrel in tight at all.
@@jamesandkendraholmes4608 yup! I'm using a 2-piece freak insert barrel kit for my T15 and the tolerances of the metal sleeve work great on their own :)

*Hopefully it comes with the marker for that price.*
I'm buying one for my t15 although I'm going to try Jerry rig it onto my FSC so I can put a handguard on my FSC
Once the new barrel nut is installed and the barrel made snug, is the barrel removable?

Isn't that the screw at the very front of the top tactical rail?

Still worth it though, I love my T-15 so much
The fact that it's already $650 for the marker and the barrel wobbles.*cries in trenches*
Sorry it’s $550.
New Scouts will come stock with this.
My T15 adaptor is like it also. Contacted Defcon about it multiple times but was ignored.

Question: T9.1 threaded tip attached to this adj. 2.0 sleeve and then on a mounted mlok 4" handguard from mcs . Think thats possible?
Doesn’t fit inside any mcs handguards, it seems. Even the wider python. Lmk if you find a solution; I love mcs but NEED to use this for barrel wobble.
Will the new canadian projectile/airsoft ban affect Magfed paintball
About dam time.
Can the barrel be removed when it's tightened? (Probably not but ehh! )

Is easy to take your barrel off for storing without taking off the handguard?
Yeah. There's a hex screw in the top Picatinny rail that you loosen, the barrel can come right out
Can you also use a barrel adapter like the a5 with this
Yep, I have one. Just don't unscrew the barrel from the adapter and it comes out easy as pie
