That was cool. I remember back in 1970, borrowed my friends dads 8mm to film dropping big rocks into a creek then looked at the result , one frame at a time. Was cool. Only time I tried anything with 8mm.
Thanks for watching! Yes! The emotional rollercoaster of working with film and wondering if any of it will come out at all. This didn't turn out exactly how I was hoping but the magic of film we still have something
I Hope... there will be more 8mm short films 😊 Really though, I just watched a documentary on Alice Guy-Blaché's life and her films, and this has the same vibe. I can just see her on a beach in France filming this.

that water shot at 1:33 is so rad, fun stuff man. Glad to see you making films out there. Expired film is such a CRAPSHOOT. Get it?!?!
That was fun to watch.
I don't know about everybody else but I'm getting some Wes Anderson vibes from the film

the magic of film 😛
Great work and I bet it was so much fun using the expired film!

Awesome how did you make this look so vintage.
using really old expired film 😁
I'm surprised the film has such low contrast considering it was filmed outdoors on a presumably sunny day.
the film was just too expired. bright sunny day, but I should have still overexposed
Is that the camera they filmed bigfoot with?
😂
