I believe it still has the line attached going to the CP3. I have the other end zip tied to the frame rail underneath the cab. Going to remove it eventually when i pull the bed to clean up the frame.
@@okc_garage I’m thinking about just deleting the sending unit in my 97 2500 and running a block off plate and maybe just install a separate fuel level gauge since mine is broke in my dash anyway
I like where you mounted your air dog, I’m thinking of moving mine because mine hangs down too much and can’t move it any higher where it is
Yeah i hate the way they hang down. Not a fan of visible filters.
Great video
Thanks!
I can smell you from Las Vegas. That's some messy ass work. Not that fun but so nice when you get it done.
Planning on putting a fass on mine. Why didn't you use the return built into the sump? Asking because I really do not want to drop the tank.
I was going to originally but it is so close
To the fuel feed line i worried about flow interruption.
Did you just leave the supply nipple exposed on the sending unit or did you rig it to block it off?

Good video I thought u got the old one off the truck u sold?
It’s the one i had for my 4th gen but i never installed it.
@@okc_garage oh I thought it was a 4g. Lol . She's coming along nice..
Why did you hollow out the fuel sending unit?
Wanted to create the least amount of resistance for the fuel to enter the sump as possible.
