    Interesting to see how different yet basically similar each manufacturer arranges its bios layout. Thanks for sharing Mike and Kath👍😺

    Nice video as usual !! Thanks.
    My humble suggestion.. for software tuning use Fan Control as it can be used with several motherboards and graphics cards with some extra options available on a single light software.

      i find fan control to be really hard to get going and for who these videos are aimed at we need to keep things as simple as possible

    Is there a way to disable the Smart Fan Feature? I Got the b650 eagle ax and it reports a CPU Temp of 110 °C which is total BS. Now the CPU Fan is at constant 100%.

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  2 месяца назад

      sounds like the cpu cooler is not mounted right, check that

      @@mikesunboxing Na the Mainboard is definetly the problem because all other HW Monitoring software reports like 29 °C since the cooler is on full blast.

    So my bios reset after a year and my fans all go crazy any time I open anything, even just a google tab. It’s very annoying and the settings I used to use are gone. Do you know what settings would optimize the fans to keep quiet? Thank you

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  Месяц назад +1

      set the fans to the right setting like either DC or PWM control and run the fan optimiser that should do it, otherwise join our discord and we can go through it

    J's $0.02 came out with a video talking about a fan controller from an individual. It has this great, fantastic ability to take the highest temperature GPU or CPU, and use that fan. curve for all the fans, including the GPU. It's working great far as I'm concerned so. check that out. LOL I don't know what else to say.

      yeah i reviewed / demonstrated fan speed a while back and to be honest i wasn't impressed with its ease of use

      @@mikesunboxing I have a learning disability. I must be able to figure it out. It's. difficult for me on everything, so I don't know if it's easy for other people or difficult for other people It's been updated three times, two times I'm not sure in the past month and a half. I like it because it gets all the fans involved. I have a 3060 TINZXT build kit from like a year and a half, two years ago. The case sucks. There's no ventilation on the front. I thought you could remove the front. Nope, it's a solid piece of steel. God, CEO's suck.

    Mike, I know you're a fan of water cooling. I'm not a big fan of seeing that big air cooler hanging off the CPU. :-) Should I get a water cooler for my i5-12600K? And how big should it be?

      a decent 240mm aio will be fine, although with the current economies of scale the 360 versions are often extremely close in price so if you have the room a 360 is the way to go. The Thermaltake TH360 V2 is worth a look if you like RGB

    Better to use software than the Bios.
