Wow, so much hatred towards this kid. I'm sure any one of us would be nervous, as a kid, to stand in front of a large studio audience and crew. Congrats to him for studying at a university level.

I’ve been watching this child since he was 2.5 yrs old. Check his progress. He is well trained but has the mental capability to absorb and understand particle physics; he has perfect pitch and he says he wants to learn to cook. He is a genius, but also a nice gentle soul.

I will be staring into the eclipse to see if its true that I'll get blind permanently. (All glasses were sold out in WA state) Uh Edit: Any advice on how to fix temporary blindness after I look would be helpful. Thanks Internet.

the UV energy from the Sun isn't that bad.. if seen in context of what we all put ourselves through.
the glass or material which welders use to protect their eyes is just as effective in blocking some of that UV.
once when we didn't have those solar glasses.. w just use two broken pieces of those welder's shield as a double layer!

I know how we could build that star if you are curious to find out. It involves a large Tesla coil, Elon Musk, Space X, possibly a lot of unwanted plastic (A lot of it!).... and I could even tell you a why it might be a good idea to build one in the first place.
