This just illustrates how dumb the MTA is. Nova buses built at this point in time already had the LED headlights standard. The MTA ordered more Nova artics in 2011 thru 2013. And they all have the dull ordinary headlights. There were 90 buses. 1201 thru 1289. A little less than half went to the Bx12 SBS in the bronx. Times have changed. All of m15 SBS novas have been transferred to The Bronx Depots. They have high mileage now.
Honestly, I don't know about that. A bus is a bus. Why would a specific model be banned from co-op city Depot??? With regard to Eastchester Depot which is the depot you are referring to in Co-op city, currently. New Flyer and Nova's are now stored there now. Before all the retired buses were stored there. Every RTS, Orion V, D60HF, MCI coaches etc............. Currently every retired bus is gone. I passed there recently.

Now all of the 2010-era Novas that were SBS-wrapped got unwrapped as the new Xcelsiors and Novas came with the new livery

Retired 2020 - 26 years. M-15 / M15 SBS - Missed 126 St Depot.
They should do some of those wrappings for the New Flyer XD60 Buses.
They are running on the BX12 SBS Buses.
