    My two cents worth, I can see a huge advantage when it comes to emergency manouvres in traffic as you're aware of the limitations of the bike you are riding as well as your personal skills where as a casual rider such as myself could easily get in over our heads.

    • @brian636
      @brian636  5 лет назад +17

      That is SO true man!!! Knowing your bike and what it is truly capable of doing and not doing is critical for avoiding some of the situations riders find themselves in. Much love as always Perrin!!!!!

    I know this is really late, however, I think another 'pro' to stunt riding is that the more you do it, the more comfortable and confident you get riding a motorcycle. Of course at first you may be scared shitless, but as you improve you learn to handle the bike better and eventually it becomes somewhat effortless; this can be beneficial to everyday riding, etc. I waited until the end of the video to comment this because I thought it may come up - maybe I'm wrong though, I don't even have a motorcycle but I just thought that this could be a possibility.
    I plan on getting a 300cc and throwing on a crash cage and all the pretty basic stunt bike mods and just throw it around and have some fun on it, while keeping a bigger bike for day-to-day use. That is, if I can afford such a luxury.

    What I like about stunting is that you wont have that many high speed falls so the falls are safer and when you are on a sports bike, you can maneuver much better than someone who has only been riding chasing the top speed and dragging knee.

    I’ve always liked the look of Street Fighter bikes, over fully faired Sports Bikes. Although a lot of SF likely is a Sports Bike with fairings removed. For this reason I also like the look of Stunt bikes. They look raw, mean, aggressive, yet still sporty! Yours especially! 😎👍🏻

I have broken six bones so far in my life my wrist arm leg shoulder finger and ankle none of them are from stunting though mostly dirtbiking skateboarding and snowboarding but definitely tore my mcl stunting and imo it was way worse then breaking all those bones. #2 police! I think to each their own when it comes to customizations on bikes but imo my risers vs oem clip ons make the bike feel so much better for riding in general. It's hard to ride stock after riding so long on customized bikes for me. Stretch handles like a tank but stunt bikes feel comfortable especially rocking wheelies. Stunters aren't corner crazy for the most part. Our challenge is to turn on one wheel 😂

    One more big pro it is a much cheaper "high adrenaline" hobby than track riding. Sure in the beginning you gotta have a way of transporting your bike to the place where you practice,but basically all you need to start is an old 4cyl supersport and a stunt cage for 200 Euro.

    Trouble with the Police, Cost and Maintenance. If you don't know how to fix your Bike yourself it's gonna get reeeaaal expensive to let someone else do it for you^^' But the fun factor outweights most of the cons in my opinion.

      KiLaR1 I’ve done stuff like change cv axle, bleed brakes, replace master cylinders, replace calipers, replace starters and alternators on cars before. Just simple stuff like that. can you give a run down on some of the maintenance work on a bike? Is it similar or a lot more complicated from what I’ve done?

    What would you recommend for a stunt bike a Cbr 600, GSXR 600 or a Yamaha R6

    Wouldn't the cons be: Your health, the law, and money?

      You can find an already built stunt bike for like 4-5k. The law? Don’t get caught. I’ve been doing wheelies for 4 years and have only got pulled over once for a wheelie, and let go with no ticket. Yeah, you might break some shit, but honestly not much more then typical bike usage, stator, rectifier, fork seals, sprockets, tires and to be honest. Your health is kind of a bad excuse to not do it. You could get hurt or die any day doing anything or nothing. Some people don’t want to waste their life away with that fear of not doing something they want to do.

      @@Sffker you nailed it about talking about your health anyone can die doing absolutely anything else or even nothing at all no use in living in fear not doing the things you love and passionate about ive went down on my bike couple days ago and this is what ive been trying to explain to my gf and other people who dont ride

    Similar feeling you get from joining the Skydiving and BASE jumping community:)
    StuntBikes are probably cheaper and more safe though… safer than BASE not Skydiving

    In Denmark where I live. We're only 6.5 million people in total and only 160k has an mc. About 100k is young people and I'm not even sure if there is 1000 stunt riders in all of Denmark. So I don't get many friends, but idc. Still love it and I'm looking at an f4i.
