I always enjoy seeing your curriculum picks! You've inspired a lot of what we do in our homeschool. We also use a plethora of bible resources to help train them up in the Lord.
We are using not consumed for the first time this year and excited about it! We are using the fruit of the tongue.

Last year we used God's Names by Sally Michael. SO good, highly recommend! Faithipedia is wonderful as well. So many great resources out there to choose from!

We are using Telling God’s Story written by Peter Enns. It’s geared towards early elementary but I’m using it for ages 9, 13, and 16.
we are using Old Story New by Marty Machowski and the Gentle and Classical Primer this year
We’re using Old Testament Faithipedia, 24 Family Ways and Character Trails from Character Concepts. ❤

Love seeing all your Bible picks! I’ve actually been looking for some kind of study, devotional, or book to go through with my 6 year old son - we’ve read a couple of the secret of the hidden scrolls books and he doesn’t like them at all cuz it’s hard for him to handle the instances where people are mean to each other (like at the time of a Noah’s flood) and then also satan is portrayed in the books and that’s really scary for him. By any chance do you have any recommendations?

When does your husband do the Not Consumed studies with your older child? Do you take the littles and he takes the olders and you do different studies at night? Thank you for this video. You got some great resources!
He doesn’t do the Not Consumed study with my oldest, he does a “manhood” study. It’s completely different. He wakes up early with my son.
We do the not consumed study as a family at night and sometimes we just read from the story Bible. We do it all together as a family before bed. Study, sing, and prayer.
What is the manhood study?
What is a catechism? Is it for Catholics? I keep seeing people mention it but I've never heard of it...
I didn’t know what it was either for quite some time and always associated it with Catholics. However, the Westminster and Heidelberg are both reformed. There is also the New Baptist Catechism. It is basically questions and answers about doctrine/theology that explain what we believe and where it stands biblically. There is scripture that we is referenced for each one. It’s a great way to teach what we believe and why.
