We just finished up our first year of homeschooling! We started with the good and the beautiful to help give us a guide. I want to branch out a little the next year and have enjoyed your recommendations! ❤️
We love catechisms!!! My older kids do as well!!! My older kids are doing church history with masterbooks!!! I think it’s called the history of religious Liberty!!!
Question for you!!! I am keeping my niece and homeschooling her. This is a new change and she doesn't know the Bible AT all. She is attending church with us now , but it is a brand new thing. She is in 5th grade, but more on a 3rd grade level. Do you have any recommendations on where I should start and with what curriculum for Bible? Thanks!!
Yes I highly recommend having her do Exploring The Bible by herself amzn.to/481C2Mo its in bite sized pieces and is great at getting kids in God's word. Then if you want something to do with her I would do one of the Not Consumed Studies store.notconsumed.com?aff=40 they are all good
which do you think would be more enjoyable as a read aloud? Chruch History (Carr) or The Risen Hope church history series? Have you read How Jesus Built His Church by Generations crurriculum? I read it this summer and it was fantastic!
I think it depends on Age the Risen hope series is written more towards middle school or highschool. We are currently reading Church History a few pages at a time every Sunday with all ages.
