  • Hello and welcome. ‪@Waltherarms‬ has released the striker-fired Competition version of the PDP and let me tell you. It's AWESOME! I hope you still watch the video, but it is pretty fantastic. Perhaps the striker-fired version of the Phoenix Redback. Yes, that good. Then you sprinkle on a bit of the ‪@zrtacticalsolutions‬ magic and you end up with something pretty special. Please let me know what your thoughts are. I look forward to your comments.

    Thank you for this comprehensive review & video! This pistol looks and sounds amazing. When you compared it to a Phoenix Redback, that certainly puts it in great company! 👍👍

    Nice review! I like the Holosun 507 Comp optic on the Walthers. Never shot the steel frame match, but I'm also curious to shoo the new polymer match. Thanks for the review! 👍🏻

    Love your reviews
    If this was football, and you fumbled and dropped passes, the coach would cut your thumbs off so you would stop touching the controls when you shoot.
    This seems to permeate many tube presenters. I wouldn't admit to poor technique. I love the PDP ergonomics. Sold my Compact 4" because it was too small for my Lg/ExLg size hands. My Full Size 5" is a keeper, along with my metal Sig P2XX 's. The H&K VP9's are equal to PDPs. Love my VP9SK.
    Excellent review ✌️

    I can't go back to the regular PDP trigger. the DPT with sprinco springs is just so much better.

    The PDP line has easily become one of my favorites. Considering the Steel frame models but that premium has me a bit hesitant to follow through. Hopefully the price drops a little as there's way too much competition out there for a lesser cost. Excellent video.

    We always appreciate your opinion. We recently purchased this firearm, and after putting well over a thousand rounds through it, over multiple range trips, we found it underwhelming, out of the box. It's a nice gun that shoots well, and it is very pretty, but it has many rivals for far less money. Further, with upgrades, it costs over $2,000, which now brings even more options to the table. We planned on selling it, but some of our subscribers, and now you, state the ZRT long stroke guide rod makes a world of difference. That's another $110, on top of the 2Gs. Maybe we'll try it. Thanks for another great video.

      Family firearms has them for 1600 shipped. For that price it’s right there with a LTT beretta and imo it’s a better gun. With the long strike it makes it softer then my shadow 2

      @@coreyeason6841 Our subscribers keep mentioning the long stroke guide rod too, and state it makes the firearm much better. Sad Walther cannot simply make a compete gun. Starting to think they own ZRT, or get a kickback from every guide rod sale. We may try it and do a follow-up review. Thanks for the reply and info.

      @@The2AExperiment I wish they would do full size guide rod for each gun rather then one small polymer one

      @The2AExperiment Walther does not own ZRT. I know this to be a fact. ZRTS manufactures components for Walther. But that’s it.

    Is the SF Match with the long stroke guide rod better than the Beretta LTT?

    • @MDpolo
      @MDpolo  2 месяца назад

      That would be a tough choice. I think it would come down to your preference of striker fired or hammer fired.
