I feel like a lot of creators who started around the time Cody and Noel did are going to start retiring or pivoting to other things over the next couple years. I think it's part of why they are expanding TMG Studios to have other talent. Eventually Cody and Noel won't be the main stars/names behind the brand and they'll mostly be producing behind the scenes. Probably still a couple years away, but that's likely where it's heading in the long run.

Yeah usually with auditions like that, if you make it that far up and they decide to start from scratch. it has nothing to do with the final actors, it's like they're gonna change the whole show up. So it doesn't mean Cody or that other guy were shit, it means they probably decided to take the show in a different direction or are changing the character (which would make Cody and the other guy no longer be the right fit).
