    My filter was installed upside down from the factory! Very helpfull video! (except I had to check another source when I saw my filter upside down and wanted a confirmation of the correct direction).

      The air flows down so the arrows should be pointing down.

      The exact same here, I short circuited lol I saw the dirty side up but the arrow pointed to it. Very blessed to have RUclips and creators like you to make great content!!

    Where is the A/C drain hose to this vehicle?

      At this time we do not have a video showing the location of the A/C drain hose.

    Just changed my own (2016 Colorado), and it was indeed installed upside down, as the air flow indication arrow was pointing upward. WTF!?!

      Fortunately in almost all cases, having it installed upside down will do little to impact the efficiency of the filter itself. It will simply reach its maximum capacity sooner than if it had been installed correctly. Glad you were able to get it corrected!

    About a 15 minute job. The worst part is trying to replace that first part you pulled out, the piece on the right that dampers the glove box when opening. Not an area for fat hands/fingers like mine, LOL!

      Thank you for informing us! The dampener cord can be tricky the first time.

      use a long needle nose pliers...worked for me

      You don’t have to remove that. I tried and it was so difficult I just took the 2 pins off underneath. Then carefully removed the door and I layer it on its side gently. Worked excellent with plenty of room . Replacing it again was just as simple. The video was great.

    Why you make it look so difficult taking off the hinges? Can’t you just push in both sides of glove box an let it drop open

    • @filterheads
      @filterheads  3 месяца назад

      In this case, the glovebox did not have enough flex, so pushing on the sides would not allow for it to drop as it would in other cases. If your glovebox is able to drop easily, then that is a perfectly valid way to access your housing. We just were not able to do so with this vehicle.
