Integrating a Victron System and Onboard Generator

At Faithful Journey RV Services, we sell a Generator Auto Start / Stop device that interfaces a Victron system with an onboard generator. This allows your Victron system to automatically start and stop the onboard generator based on several factors, such as battery state of charge or system load. Additionally, this enables the Victron system to periodically exercise the generator so it doesn't sit for months on end without being used. Sitting unused can lead the generator carburetors to get gummed up and need a costly service.

Question, your gen start stop wires are confusing me. At the generator you used a black and red wire, then at the box you used orange and yellow. Now I heard you say you had to extend the wires, did you just switch colors when you extended them?
So your only red and black wires coming from the relay box are system positive and negative. Which would be hooked up to pos busbar and negative busbar?

My box comes prewired with a yellow wire that connects to the generator stop signal wire and a orange wire that connects to the generator start signal wire. The color of the wires that you use to connect my box to the generator doesn't matter just as long as you know which wire you are using for the start and stop.
Yes, the red and black wires that my box come prewired with connect to your system positive and negative busbars.
