I loved the video! I’m so glad that the Ballantyne Pikes Nursery has a lot of stuff, I’ve never seen a paper spine in Pikes! I might go there today to get some plants for my room :).

You never know what you’ll come across at these big box stores. I just got a GORGEOUS monstera, silver pothos and marble queen pothos from Meijer. All gorgeous and healthy. I left behind a stunning Brazil philodendron, a curly spider plant, and a few more monsteras. Who knew Meijer was killing it in the plant department?
When you picked the black anthurium, I was shouting to you to get it. I have never seen one and I would have loved that one .it was lovely to go shopping with you

I noticed about 3 minutes in to your video, an Alocacia popped up. Then you went over to Lowe's. The Lowe's near me (Statesville) had the Alocasia Frydek. At $9.98 how could I not get me one? I had not seen this variety before. Happy plant hunting!
Hi Ashley, a plant I would love to get hold of is Aechmea orlandiana. I haven't seen it in any of your videos, and it can't be found in England. Used to be common 🥺
Oooh I love that Lemon Lime Philodendron!!! It's kind of hard to find here in France and it's also quite expensive. Just a side note : you might want to pinch that wiry thing in your mask (nose are) just so that the mask fits more snug and thus becomes more effective :D Either way, thank you for this video, Ashley!
Much to my surprise, one Home Depot here had small bird of paradise in the outdoor plant section with the annuals for only $6! I have never seen them sold here like that. I bought two. I will grow them outdoors for the summer then try to bring them in for the winter. I almost bought that Trending Tropicals Golden Goddess philodendron but I inspected it closely and it had spider mites so nope not introducing those into my house!
@@icemancometh8679 I'm sure yours was big like the ones in this video. The ones I got were very small, like only one stalk and only about 18" tall. They look like they are meant to be pot fillers for summer containers really. They were not being sold as houseplants. They were sold on racks out with the other annuals like the petunias and such. It was definitely a surprise.

I don't know first there's the robot on patrol, then the little kid chasing the old man around and laughing with all that zapping and now these two. Well when they go in I'm Goin In! ( now back to Penny and Judy) Well do you see what I see? Oh yeah, over there watching us watching them. Well you noticed they're not stupid they haven't come any closer. Oh that's only because they haven't discovered the perimeter force field. Zzzzzzzzt! Owooch! I stand corrected.
