There were so many plants!!! The many huge plants were just so amazing- if I lived a life where I could have a giant plant. . . I have to say that the giant pothos really amazed me. I had no idea they could get so big. I also loved that really gorgeous tradescantia & the Birkin.

Thank you for sharing your Raleigh trip, I'm subscribed and can't wait to see the next one 😁 I have a Philodendron selloum 'hope' (which they've renamed I think), and a Philodendron bipennifolium (!!!) that I bought at Logan's 26 years ago. The trunk on the hope mama is huge, and I almost lost the bipennifolium this past winter out here, but she's coming back! 🌿🌱✌️ there used to be one off of old 264 that was incredible.
Both of those nurseries were awesome. Thank you so much for taking us along! They were both styled so nicely and their plants looked really healthy. A plant road trip sounds so fun! I mean who doesn't love walking a good greenhouse? Your choices were perfect! The retusa is huge. I have a very small one and I would love a bigger one. I also have a variegated lipstick plant from Lowe's and sadly it looks nothing like the beauty you got. The variegation on yours is so pretty. I admit I loved those little ficus Audreys too. I bought one that size and I just love how petite it is (for now!).

Also from Canada 🇨🇦 and ordered on line 2 verigated African violets. Very difficult to find these so happy to receive these 2 babies in self wick pots. I’ve never used this type of pot so looking forward to see results. Love watching you. There is always a calmness about you. 💜
The little monsteras are squiggly like that because they were grown by tissue culture instead of seed :)! It’s kinda like they are pre-mature. Baby plant but adult foliage, this is the outcome!

Definitely hoya retusa and variegated lipstick plant. I have radicans and thai lipstick plants in east windows. Thai has not bloomed yet. Radicans is on its third bloom since last September. Leaves wrinkle when thirsty or when soil is a 1 or 2 on your meter. Soak really well. Fertilize monthly. No direct sun. Love them almost as much as hoyas. Next, black pagoda. Good luck.
Hi Ashley---This is a great series!! The nurseries have a great selection of plants! On your African violet-- be sure to wick it and never water from the top. I love african violets, and over time found out the hard way about their care. They can be very prone to crown rot if watered from the top. If you don't know about them do the research!!! I live in New Bern just 2 hours from Raleigh and here at Waltmart you can find the same size of fig trees or bigger for $89 and monstera just for $25 😊 Gorgeous!!
Definitely treat the variegated lipstick plant similar to a Hoya! I let mine dry out and wait until the leaves get slightly softer before I water it. Seems to be working well!!! I can’t wait for mine to bloom!
Ashley in the California big box stores they have huge monstera and fiddle leaf right now for 50 dollars! At least 6ft tall. I keep having to stop myself from going back to buy some. You should check yours!

If you want a fiddle fig that size you should go to costco. It’s think it’s $39.99 or $60. If you’re a member. I work there in CT but not sure if all costco get the same plants.

I just picked up a monstera the size of the $49 one for $14.99 at my local greenhouse. It is end of garden planting season here and everything was marked down. She was the only one and had to come home with me. Fit her in my Jeep Wrangler. Where there is a will there is a way. Haha! Love her so much! Great video!❤️✌🏻🌿🍃🌱
Hoya compacta is soooo expensive in New Zealand. Teeny tiny cuttings with only a few leaves are currently selling for $70-$100 😭😭 I love that ginormous bird of paradise 🤩🤩 you got such an amazing haul. Love watching your videos
I love your videos! The only stores that sell plants remotely close to me are Lowe’s and Home Depot so the selection is just crazy in those nurseries! But I would’ve gotten the birkin, some hoyas, the rattlesnake calathea and a staghorn fern to mount
I’ve been dying to visit Logan’s and now after your video I will definitely be making the trip! 😍 and I had never heard of Homewood Nursery and now it’s on my list of nursery’s to visit as well. Love this series. I just went nuts at Hirt's and ordered a bunch of Hoyas. They are having an amazing sale. I went to Lowes and Walmart the other day hoping I'd find a Hindu Rope too, but no luck. :)

Hoya compacta is soooo expensive in New Zealand. Teeny tiny cuttings with only a few leaves are currently selling for $70-$100 😭😭 I love that ginormous bird of paradise 🤩🤩 you got such an amazing haul. Love watching your videos

I love your videos! The only stores that sell plants remotely close to me are Lowe’s and Home Depot so the selection is just crazy in those nurseries! But I would’ve gotten the birkin, some hoyas, the rattlesnake calathea and a staghorn fern to mount

I’ve been dying to visit Logan’s and now after your video I will definitely be making the trip! 😍 and I had never heard of Homewood Nursery and now it’s on my list of nursery’s to visit as well. I was actually obsessed with the Sansevieria at Homewood’s - and would’ve bought them all lol I’ve been on this snake plant kick and wanting to collect them all. 😂🐍🌿
