its fun to see the operating accessories. when i was little model railroaders told me to get rid of them as they are childish. i feel that they add a different operating venue and add realisim to the scene that it is on. besides its my railroad and rule 1 is in effect. what is rule 1, its my railroad and i can do anything i want to. lots of great modellers there .:)
I think railway modellers sometimes forget that some people actually want to have fun and play with their trains, as well as do the modelling side of things.
Excellent modelling skills on display once again this year - great video, too. However (despite not being a modeller myself), I was a little disappointed with the overall exhibition this year - not so many layouts on display and very few large ones. I missed 2015, but compared to 2014 it all felt a little sparse.
