Wow. One of the very best videos of any layout. You obviously understand the concept and proper usage of depth-of-field, smooth panning and static shots in filming, unlike most of the out-of-focus, shaky layout vids that look like they were taken from a moving pogo stick. Great job!

Outstanding! Everything operates like a Swiss Watch. Beautiful scenery too.

Great scene of those card playing Blitz First-Aid workers.

Thanks for that, Ted. A lot of good stuff - and good camera work.

Thanks, Noel - I used the steadying function provided by RUclips as the original was a bit shaky.

Very good video of some lovely layouts. The aspects which I always find disappointing are the speeds at which the models are run - usually far too fast - and the rapid stops and starts. I wouldn't want to be a passenger on many of them! Also, shunting is far too rapid and with very abrupt stops and starts - rather like a spider running across the floor. I appreciate that NG prototypes were fairly relaxed about this, but even a cursory look at some actual NG railways in action would show the problem. This seems to me very general across most model railways with only the very occasional and notable exception. Perhaps driving lessons would be suitable to match all that wonderful modelling?

ing4trainz most narrow gauge is not dcc and they have old motors in them so smooth running is fairly difficult most of my locos are 20+ years old so they are not the greatest at slow running
