I was a spring guy forever. But got a set of these for my GTI and the adjustability (dampening not just ride height) is amazing. Especially since I’ve started some tracking.
@@interceptingfist5682 nah there’s a very specific route I’m going, need to find out how the fitment works, and Cameron does a good job of explaining sometimes
In the Mazdaspeed community, there are several suspension choices that are very well known and well regarded. BC is not one of them, but maybe that’s just because they’re newer on the platform? I’ll be interested to see what you think of them. I personally went with Ground Control coil overs and Konis and chose custom, very high spring rates in light of the very different motion ratios front and rear.
@Angel Valdez I've heard they're great. I think they can be had for a great deal on Rock Auto, too. Of course, one of the most well-regarded sets for the Speed is KW v3s, but they're pricey.
Is it possible for you to take a pic of the oil pressure sensor wire and where it’s running to on the harness cause I broke mines but can’t find where the wire is running to
In the rear shock replacement bolts , you should have also made sure that you matched or exceeded the bolt grade. Just going to Ace Hardware for a bolt is not good enough because that bolt might be too soft for this application.
Nice video I have the same BR series BC racing coil overs how did you soften up the rears on them I seem to be having problems doing that and it isn’t working if you can help I would appreciate it
the nut is long enough . I installed it on my speed 3 with no problems. What i noticed is that some of the kits come with the bolt that goes in the bottom while mine didnt come with it and the install of the spring was in reverse... the spring perch went to the top..
yo cam, i don’t wanna be rude but i have noticed a decrease in views. But the quality of the content has increased, and team size has increased. I think if you were to switch thumbnail sizes or throw in some vlogs of car meets. Your vid’s would get wayyyyy more views increasing subs and profit. Great Vids tho man!

I've had my bc's for a year now and still as solid as the day I installed them
Cam, Love watching how much your mechanic skills and confidence level have grown over the years. 🔥
I can watch videos like this forever 🔥🔥
There's not that much videos installing bc racing coilovers on the speed3. Great video my man.
Thanks!
@@CameronAlford I got a set of D2 for my gen 2, but they are actually for gen1. Where did you get the rear longer bolt?
Not gonna lie this series is so cool watching you make videos on speeds again haha
We need another focus build
He should build a focus sedan so I can get an idea of wheel fitment, fitment industries ain’t giving much 😭

Can you adjust the stiffness in the rear without taking the coilovers off??? I don’t wanna take them off again

I have racelands on mine. I've had no issues

I know plenty of speeds that run bc coils, Personally I’m gonna go with fortune auto.
@@clockwather raceland lol
@Angel Valdez are you serious?? Haha edge, corksport, rallysportdirect all have tons of MS3 parts. CS is still developing new stuff.
I had BC's on my Gen pu and never had a problem with them. Liked them enough to put them on my FD ^.^
That's literally my exact car. Mica black with BC coilovers and whiteline sway bar links. Only I have wheels too.
Love it!

Would you ever do a Veloster N build

When are you doing exhaust for the Silverado
What happened to the Speed 3 now ? Did you guys scrap the project ?
How are the Bcs vs the gen 1 Ksports you installed as far as build quality etc? Thanks
Love seeing the mazdaspeed3 come together, cant wait for the next video
Just installed my bc’s on my 08 ms3 about two weeks ago and heavily referenced your older video 😂😂

My white line endlinks are already torn and only had them on since April of 2020
Literally only drove less than 10k miles too
how did you put the front strut in without that special tool that opens the knuckle just a small bit?
Put a plate or shim in the knuckle and thread the bolt backwards until the strut slips out
I've been looking at either the CS coilovers or BCs. I've always wanted the BCs so I'm most likely going with them.
Thank you! I'm planning on putting some BC's on soon
This is same procedure for 2008 volvo c30 correct? I read it's same coilovers and suspension

i have bc racing coils on my gti, and absolutely love them. they aren’t too badly priced, but they aren’t cheap either.
Hey I know it’s been a year but what gen gti do you have? Would you still say you like the coilovers? I am also thinking of getting a set
Question about the camber plates. Is it necessary to cut/enlarge the strut tower hole for camber plate adjustment?
would you trust your mazdaspeed 3 on roadtrips? 1000+ miles?
I can't wait to MOD my speed3 just got my and is stuck to the bone
Thank you for the video I know what to do
Any updates for part 2?
P1 Volvo people would love that stock rear sway bar (totally not a Volvo guy...)
Why did you go with bc over the ksport that you usually go with ?
you need to wrap up the bronco. I dont think very many of us care to see it. Get back to the cars!
How do I enter to win the Speed 3?
I have a set of cork sport coil overs
Who won the give away?
What is the length of the lower strut bolt you got from ace hardware? 70mm or 80mm?
Did you ever find out?
Do you ever do subscriber builds!
Build a big turbo fiesta
Anyone else just randomly checking in waiting for a video on the STI rebuild?
Got bc on my speed there awesome!
I forgot about the temp exhaust fix 😂
Canti in the front gets rid of trq steer. Shhhhh.
your vids stopped getting hella views...
Just ordered some goodies from Carmaspeed. Crossing my fingers. My fiancee wants a speed 3 of her own to drive. 😁
Saw you on a random insta post in a pic with Klay Thompson. Legit or photoshop?
