hey Jang, as a student lighting designer i'd like to let you know 95% of road installations are in the 4000K with sidewalks and pedestrians walkways are more often than not 3000 or 4000. only the really early installations before LED had matured to a good standard are really blue >5500K. also you talked about 3500K which is a really uncommon colour temperature, the ones used in the real world are 2100K, 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5500K and 6500K. anything inbetween these standards are not used, atleast not in Europe.
The brick stuff lights in the apartment building look perfect, exactly the light color/temperature I expect to see coming from that type of structure. I wouldn’t worry about that at all. I do like the idea of continuing with slightly differing light temperatures, it will keep the city alive and varied instead of bathed in a single color that’s too warm or cool.
If it makes you feel better, I have all LED bulbs in my apartment and they're all "soft white", so they are all quite warm light, really almost as warm as incandescent bulbs.
The lights and shadows in the station, with minifigs waiting and living their lives are so alive, so dynamic. And contrasts between warm and colder tones of enlightening add a lot to the realistic aspect of the whole now. I can't imagine how much work that represents to install all the stuff on an already existing display and landscape, but wow. Good game. For sure must be more easy to include enlightening while building. Very impressive.
Thanks jangbricks for making my day by upgrading your city and I love your city have a good day Also (edit) you should make a power plant for the battery’s it would take a while but it would look cool
awesome lighting, New Jang-City is really coming along well. One suggestion (or perhaps a vague idea) for the city is perhaps a commemorative statue for Hero Factory as a nod to it starting what is a spectacular channel (seeing as how the ccbs system is very unfortunately fading away sadly)
I mean, how cool is this! You're making lots of progress to light up your city, it's really beautiful! At some point, I'm hoping to see that skyscraper lit up fully! That will be amazing, I'm sure! Nicely done, Jang!
The different colors look amazing, Jang. I'd try to keep all public transit stuff the same color, as if they ordered all their lights in bulk. But holy Q, that mall looks so good! I'm so happy to hear you so excited about your city again.
I personally feel the inclusion of warmer color temperature lights is actually much more fitting for a domestic setting, as it’s less harsh on the eyes and lets people fall asleep easier. I know I can’t have any fluorescent bulbs in my room for that very reason.
My son and i watch your channel on the regular, he for Ninjago reviews and me for New Jang City... just touring around the city is so relaxing... thanks for all the great content!
I don't wanna open the Pandora's jar that is lighting my Lego city, but this does look really beautiful. Totally makes sense to have different tones of light around too - this more LED tone works perfectly for this spot.
It would be really cool to have all of the lights in the room synced up to the room lighting that changes to emulate daylight cycle and stuff over something like 15 minutes
You know if I can get any of those lights at Walmart or Something, I’m not kidding, if you read this please tell me if I can get some of these lights at the store and I would like to equip them in my city even though it’s not really that big it’s just a couple buildings only enough to make a block really
I think those "fairy' lights look perfect for where they are. I mean street lights shouldn't be glaring. They should be soft and subtle. I love how it looks. Congratulations on a job well done.
This is really really cool looking. I think it adds realism having some different colored lights on different buildings. Keep it up, can't wait to see what it looks like completed eventually!
Looks fantastic and makes such a big difference. Looking forward to seeing the factory lit and what the possibilities the planetary defence base will conjure up. Exciting times ahead.
Looks so good! Love the way the light spills. I’d also be curious to see if surrounding the lights with black bricks to reduce the spill (focusing it more on the ground) might offer another cool look. Maybe in a different context!
Looking good. In my opinion, having the differing hues is a good thing. If they were all the same color it would look a little sterile or too artificial. Unless that is the citywide look you are after. Either way, I look forward to more progress.
Jang, I usually don't make requests because I believe it best to give the creator his own organization, but I'd really love if you made a thoughts video on the Hidden Side line! It's really experimental and has some pretty cool sets as well. I'm just wondering how you'd predict the line to do, seeing the new concepts and whatnot
I've only just started watching your Lego City videos. Have you done any that covers secrets/easter eggs you snuck into the display? I couldn't find one by doing a simple search on your channel.
Hey Jang, Cool lights they look awesome. Honestly if you took the whole track apart you might in bed them in the construction in the track to hide them better. But they look great just as they are. Maybe an angled translucent block or something might look cool also. But yes again the lights look great!!!!!!!
That's a very clean city, to have lights all along under the rail... Typically, areas under bridges/etc are dark and dirty, maybe with lighter cleaner patches where a road or paid parking lot goes under.
I am sure you already have a plan for what you will light up next. In case you have any flexibility in that plan I am going to mention that I am interested in how the skyscraper office building would look lit up.
Another great video-- love seeing the evolution of your city. You mention a wish to have cooler white lights. We do actually have some "natural" white lights in Pico LED format that we made several years ago but never sold. We'd be happy to send you some to experiment with if you'd like. Interested to see how they compare to the color of the BrickLoot lights.
So awesome!! Love it! I have an idea....it would be really sweet if you could get a glow in the dark moon and stars. Put the moon on the wall with stars on wall and ceiling !
Looks really good, cant wait to see what other lighting you will be installing. Can already imagine what the hospital, factory and port will look like.
JANGBRiCKS in year apartment blocks not all lighting would be on at the same time in every appartment. You should choose a cupple apartment to have mild colour flashing to represent TV in a dark room.
Hi Jang, you can look into WRGB strips they can reproduce white greate since they have a white diode along with red, green, blue and you can get a controller for them that can controll multiple strips so you can hook up few buildings to the controller and set the color temperature precisely. You can cut up the strip to as small of a pieces as you want and just hook them together .I think this will be the ideal sollution for your case.I'm also pretty sure that there are controllers out there that have a phone app similar to the philips hue's so you can controll every building individually by just using your phone.Hope this gave you some ideas.Ps.It will also be cheaper and more configurablle than anything else, and from the urc chanel i know you are good with the soldering iron :D
Critical correction: *FAIRY LIGHTS not angel lights!*
The exact lights units I bought: amzn.to/2LPABKA and amzn.to/2YDiDML (affiliate links)
JANGBRiCKS hi love your vids
JANGBRiCKS thanks I love Your Chanel
JANGBRiCKS Hey I’m an artist here in the Bay Area, if you ever need something designed I’d be happy to help you out.
Would u do lights for Minecraft too
I remember when I was like 7 and I watched all ur vids and when u started ur lego city
Brings back memories
Honestly watcing the city grow is very satisfying
aidid harraz same
Looking better all the time. Maybe it will be completed some day.
Nah, always a work in progress. :)

Some flashing lights on the helipad would look cool.

These lights are adding so much life to your city! Awesome!

Mixing up color temps is a-okay. Mercury vapor, florescent, LED; our world is full of different color lights.
Wow! That looks amazing, good job! Could you put lights under the water of the pool as well?
What a very considerate person you are, Jang, not willing to wake the populous :)

You have such a talent for narration. Seriously. I love this channel :-))
This guy is god to the citizens of this city
Thanks jangbricks for making my day by upgrading your city and I love your city have a good day

The different qualities of life from build to build, including warmer tones, make the city look more realistic

Could you put them in the street lights ?
Neat. Thanks for showing us this with the different external light levels and types too.
Petition for ASMR Jangbricks and nighttime city

Your city is going to look absolutely fantastic by the time you get it all aglow! It really inspires me to add lights to my own set-up :)
The little park areas with trees look great when they are just lit by the blueish lights. Looks real
My son and i watch your channel on the regular, he for Ninjago reviews and me for New Jang City... just touring around the city is so relaxing... thanks for all the great content!
The next moc building that you make, you should try to think about how lighting could be added in the future. I’m sure that will help you a lot.
I don't wanna open the Pandora's jar that is lighting my Lego city, but this does look really beautiful. Totally makes sense to have different tones of light around too - this more LED tone works perfectly for this spot.
Man jangbricks is doing good

Fantastic! It has never been so close to really look like a real city, a real world. Fantastic.
Great work in the city, the project is looking awesome
I like the light color. Gives it a mix of streetlight and moonlight
Looks fantastic and makes such a big difference. Looking forward to seeing the factory lit and what the possibilities the planetary defence base will conjure up. Exciting times ahead.

I am waiting to see this finished. I believe it will be a luminous masterpiece.

Reminds me of the model city from an HBO intro when I was a kid. Great nostalgic vibes!
More build videos please
I've only just started watching your Lego City videos. Have you done any that covers secrets/easter eggs you snuck into the display? I couldn't find one by doing a simple search on your channel.
Nope, best way to find them is to watch the old videos of the various buildings and the like. His instagram show a few of them.
Hey Jang, Cool lights they look awesome. Honestly if you took the whole track apart you might in bed them in the construction in the track to hide them better. But they look great just as they are. Maybe an angled translucent block or something might look cool also. But yes again the lights look great!!!!!!!
I’m a fan of the cool lighting, it kinda looks like moonlight and I think it’ll look really cool when then build is done

Can’t wait to see the end result!

Good job jang this is very cool I like that the blue lighting just fits in
So awesome!! Love it! I have an idea....it would be really sweet if you could get a glow in the dark moon and stars. Put the moon on the wall with stars on wall and ceiling !
Looks really good, cant wait to see what other lighting you will be installing. Can already imagine what the hospital, factory and port will look like.
Wow! That's cool! It's good to see the progress of the New Jang city, I hope that the city would be as large as New York some day!
Looks cool
JANGBRiCKS in year apartment blocks not all lighting would be on at the same time in every appartment. You should choose a cupple apartment to have mild colour flashing to represent TV in a dark room.
Nice! i love these new jang City videos
Beautiful!! I can't wait to see some lighting in the skyscraper!
Looking great. Keep up the good work. Always good to see.
I think if you’re gonna have a central battery, you should build a power plant on top of it.
Looks so good but at the same time the monorail lights look a bit dim, non the less looks good
can you make a tour of one of your custom mocs
Have you tried Light My Bricks yet??
Red flashing lights on top of the skyscraper would be awesome !
Will you make a stop motion video that takes place in the awesome city
This is awesome! I’ve not watched your channel in forever so seeing your city like this is insane!
It's gonna make such a difference when you light up your sky scraper. :) Great job!
I would love to see the port with lights
You are our trail blazer, Jang. Will always be. Keep on!
I eagerly await the lighting of much bigger buildings such as the skyscraper, and the hospital.
I think it's cool looking! If you ever find colored lights, you can technically make neon signs!
hey nice city and big
will you put lights into your skyscraper/s? + skyscraper interior :)
I would think given time. Thing is he's got a million projects on the go so nothing is ever done.
The blue on those pillars look good. I think
Since you're adding lights you should add a power plant!
A power plant would be PERFECT
You could make the excess wires and stuff in the octan factory
Looking good! I think it would look cool if you lit up the pool on the apartment
You should working headlights for the cars
The lights add soo much awesomeness 👌 lol that was always my favorite part of those model city's and model train set ups from back in the day 👍
When are we going to get an apartment tour?
I"m still waiting for my i-Brix wireless lights. Maybe this year?
Are you planning on building a Lego power plant somewhere in the city?
yay new vid
Hai!!!! I love Lego and you're channel!!!! And ur creations!
Kinda makes it look like Gotham
Will you put lights in the street lights?
the city is very cool but you should add a freeway or a bridge
Wow, that’s some really cool night lights. Man, New Jang City has shaped up to something spectacular!
- Lego Bro 1
Your city looks eerily realistic now... But very entertaining to look at!
Great lightings, Ahmm... jang? what about adding a mansion? is there any space for it?
So much more to come cant wait
Make power lines and a power plant (the plant can have all the USB connections and cables and stuff)!!!!
City looking A E S T H E T I C
You should light up the sky scraper up next
These Lego bulbs are so cool
Warm lighting would look better than blue I think.
Jangbricks does microphone asmr
nice jang, the city would look much more complete with streetlights though.
