4:55 that 'what is it, years now?' comment gave me a bit of a wow moment. I think when I started watching your videos was around the time you were building the hospital, and hearing that kinda made me realise how long I've been watching your videos
The lightning really takes the building to another level. It really feels like a hospital because of the extremely well-thought-out lighting. The Ambulance bay lighting was really cool. GREAT Work!
I know it does amaze me sometimes too, I've been here since before Mellemby was ever a thing, and it is quite astonishing how long many of us have been here.
That is really neat, the hospital looks more lively than ever before, and it looks like you didn't have to demolish part of it to put the lights in! I really like the view of it even in the daytime, you've done an excellent job, Jang!
very good! I have some suggestions. Although it already is, you should make the hospital the second tallest building in the city. Next light up the middles of the subways. Lastly, light up some interiors of the houses and for the rest of the houses, make the little lights outside their doors.
Got to see you upload the progress videos for the hospital a while back. Thought the windows didn’t make it realistic then, but your reasoning makes sense. Love how you can appreciate the interior from the outside.
We just bought our first ever proper lego set and have realised how hard work it is! Rewarding and clever too. That city and hospital is the product of so much thought and effort, and it looks great. Thanks for sharing (another one of your videos has enabled me to be sure about a set I was pondering as an xmas gift too- cheers!) :D
Jang if you want to look into it, you could buy an Arduino (≈ $10), and connect it to the main power system to control blinking and fading effects. It wouldn't be too difficult, and it would be WAY less expensive for a multitude of effects.
The lighting looks great! It would be interesting to see how something like an arduino would help with light automation (flashing, color changing, etc.). Excited to see more!
I'm not sure if people already told you about it, but you should set up a patreon, this way you won't have to worry at all about the electrical bill(even though it's small).
The ridge on the front of the laccolith would be a perfect place for a shuttle launch point... I can either see what your planning JANG, or i'm very off :)
Think about how much work went into installing the lights! The whole hospital is incredible (has been for years), but this addition puts it over the top.
Jane you could put some head lights in trains and boats and other large vehicles also if you want vehicles to move around there is a system where you can put copper wire under the the and the vehicle follows it around.
The hospital in my town is made on the outside to look like a big reflective mirror, but on the inside it is a bunch of single sided windows. So this hospital is realistic to me.
The hospital looks great, do you have any plans for partial room lighting in the skyscraper ? For harbour lights and factory night lighting, I would suggest to control it via a light sensor, so it only lights when dark enough (or just switch it that way from a second main counter-switched socket). Usually harbours have flood lighting, just like construction sites, while factories have some lights around entries and exists for security, but not much inside (unless it's a utility company).
I love the fact that Jang calls people 'huge figures'
Am i only one who think this videos are satisfying?
Nope bro

Beautiful
Call the hospital, this lighting is SICK! :D
From the start I thought this wasn't Lego, but when I looked closely, I fell in love with this Hospital👌👌😎😎

I love the hospital lit up. It seems realistic in a way.
Crazy cool..

I remember the first time I saw this build...nothing short of amazing. It looks even better with the lights.

It’s good to see all the detailed work that goes into the interior of buildings that would normally be barely visible without lighting.
Amazing as usual. The thought of the harbour being lit made me legit "aw yeah!!!" out loud lol. I loved the train yard so can't wait for that.
It is just amazing!!! Can't wait to see the rest of the city iluminated!
Wow, I'm really digging the amount of depth you have added to this build. Always another detail the deeper you look.
Can't wait to see the rest of the city in lights and would love to see all the vehicles and train yard all lit up

Wow jang that's awesome
You raised the level again!

I’ve been watching since the Bionicle moc days and I haven’t stopped since then! I hope you never stop uploading
I would consider adding some backlight to the hospital sign/logo in the fron to make it pop up more and some light to mark the heli pad
This looks even better lit up. Great job, JANG.
Agreed
Your hospital looks lovely.
I'm not sure if people already told you about it, but you should set up a patreon, this way you won't have to worry at all about the electrical bill(even though it's small).
You are a LEGO expert!
This gives me bad memories of my trip to the hospital several years ago. But, as usual, still a shockingly great build!
Very nicely done, great detail in the building. Lights do add an extra dimension to the city.
Hi, the hospital is amazing. The effort you put in to it really shows.
The ridge on the front of the laccolith would be a perfect place for a shuttle launch point... I can either see what your planning JANG, or i'm very off :)
The laser tag arena would look really cool with some lights!
I'm always impressed by how much you know about so many different topics
“Dark Side of the Mall” - New collaboration album from Pink Floyd and Jang, coming soon to your local record store.
OMG! I love your ambulance! Also, what about using a rounded canopy piece for your helicopter? It’s looks great as well the way it is already though.
Yay!! Can’t wait for the whole city to be lit up
The lights inside the hospital look amazing, great work Jang!

I really like these lighting efects, the hospital looks marvelous, I'd like to see the industrial building next 😁
Super cool

The lights really breathe light into the city. Though I do look forward to your next moc project more!
Some flashing beacons on the helipad would be awesome. I see you had the same idea.
Good update but... at the end... Planetary Defence Base?!? I feel I have been waiting for several years for this. Come on, Jang. You can do it!
Looks good :)
Wow it looks amazing
I love it
Thanks Jang! Very cool
Wow, looks very nice Jang!
I love how Jang calls humans 'large figures' haha
Wow that's brilliant
Jane you could put some head lights in trains and boats and other large vehicles also if you want vehicles to move around there is a system where you can put copper wire under the the and the vehicle follows it around.
Light up some of them emergency vehicles!
Yeah, that would look really cool! I think it may be harder than the buildings though. Maybe something with an on-board battery?
That looks gnajical
That's impressive
Very cool,love it
