I love the shapes you made with the green. It helps tie the tower to the grid city
I love how you throw in some construction equipment while you’re in the midst of building, as if the minifigures are doing the actual work. I have done the same thing when I take a break from constructing something. Usually it’s because I’ve had to order extra parts that I hadn’t accounted for or I’ve changed something mid-way. For me it helps to create a story for my daughter.

The thing that separates your city from the rest is the space. A good realistic use of space. You dont cram every set you have in there. Im inspired.

Maybe you could do a compass kind of thing with those nexo-night shield pieces at the base of the statue? Something about how the skyscraper is north, helping minifigs have direction and purpose.. Just a thought..
I have an idea for an off to the side thing near the big building. A"war monument"

You could make the statue a real urban mythical bird in New Jang City, and hide a real version of the bird somewhere in the city!
Imagine that the creature is real and elusive, and rumours of its existence have become legend for the locals! It would be a cool easter egg.

That’s actually a pretty good idea, maybe if it was painted gold or something to look metal.
Having the tower on ground level makes it easier to access for wheelchair using mini-figs. It looks great!

Looks great! Good to see the downtown area seeing some love. One thing that I thought of was using more of the white fencing that you have placed on top of the cafe as a trellace. You could even put some of the vines you were talking about and place them over the trellacing. That could provide visual interest and provide shade for the outdoor tables.

That's quite lovely what you did, adding some trees and a fountain near the skyscraper, the 2 other little shops are a nice addition as well, they won't take up too much space, I'm sure you've got other things planned in this area, nice work!
Just wanted to say that the use of ground level shots was great, nice work getting the camera down low like that.
You should add like bike lanes around the city.
Also, maybe like a elevated track for like trains like a tram or a regular train.

Love the guy in the wheelbarrow haha very nice statue and I like the use of the pointy shield pieces at the base of the statue. Fountain looks great, as does the patterning on the path from the statue to the fountain. Love those shady trees for your minifigs to eat their lunch under.
Always impressed with all the changes you bring every vid you do in this series.

You have a nice tower, Jang. Mine is made of Technic beams for its exterior, raised vertically, with window columns between. It has 12 core columns supporting its weight, each is built similarly to the trunk from the big treehouse set (using 4x4 open-center pieces and door frames, with beams running vertically up their shafts).
That looks so nice and realistic 👏👏👏

Hey Jang! Very fine work. I do agree that elevating the skyscraper by a few tiles would look better. From a structural point of view, it makes more sense to have a foot of clearance from the pavement to protect from damage to the facade and foundation. I do understand that it's not an easy Lego fix, and that it's up to you; just thought I'd share my opinion.
The hole with the builders in looks like they're creating a pond. Love the railings on the opposite side and the use of shields and triangle plates for seating on the statue base.
Grass contouring looks good too
Could you do a video describing LVUs, how you chose what types of baseplates you use or any other minutiae, and how you approach starting or doing an actual MOC. I know you mostly do videos doing an overview of what you completed, but a look behind the curtain would be really helpful and enjoyable I think. Or if you could point me towards other videos about the tips and tricks you use when building I would appreciate it!

I hand built a multifunction table for my Legos and find myself running out of room to do everything I would like to. Would love to get a house with a 3rd bedroom to use as my lego room lol

I really like the overall design of the plaza, and the statue itself is quite good too! I don’t like the pedestal for it though, I wish it was wider at the base of the statue.

Hey JANG, what's your plan for Halloween? It'd be great if you could do something with the lighting and make the atmosphere of JANG city to feel the Halloween vibe too! Hehe
Jang, great start . My only suggestion when you are doing public realm design make sure you apply the same architectural quality to the urban design / landscape architecture of the plaza that you apply to your building process. Look at Peter Walker’s design for formal bank building plaza from the 1970’s as examples or start doing some research on great urban plazas of today.

It will be nice if your skyscraper would have a staircase to access. You will have to raise it, that way you could make it more beautiful to come in with stairs and plants, light and trees etc.
JANGBRiCKS - I love the idea of elevating buildings, but how do you provide wheelchair access? Do you have room for ramps? Got to be all-inclusive and non-discriminatory in this PC world, even in New Jang City! I'm sure you will have a few mini-figs in wheelchairs?.....
Looking good, Jang. Please get an extension on your house to fit in a drag strip or race track. You’d do an ace job, and I’d be gripped!

Loving this area a lot. Strange suggestion but maybe have some sorta public toilet area like at parks or some business areas, just in case those minifigs have had a little too much deli snacks. Keep up the fantastic work man, can’t wait to see final product here 😊

Hey Jang I was wondering, you may have answered this in another video i hadnt seen, do you have an end-goal plan for what your city should look like? Or do you have plans or contingencies in how to continually expand Jang City throughout the years and decades?

Amazing work love your city! One idea for the fountain though. Instead of a 'walled off' fountain, why don't you put multiple fountains that can be walked through if you get what I mean. Just a suggestion, keep up the great work!!!
The statue reminds me of the Thailand style sculptures of a Phoenix. That would make sense since it is in NEW Jang City.
hmmm... if you REALLY wanted to make the terrain higher like you were talking about at 3:12 you could always make your big green building higher as well. it could gain a parking Garage. BUT I don't know how elevated you wanted it. heh.. My suggestion might make it look very awkward. ^^; It'd also be waaaaaay more work..

For your tech shop inspired by Apple & MS stores, you should try to do glass doors that swing from the middle, so when theyre open people walk in between parallel panes of glass. The mall by me the Apple store is like that, it's probably a common design for them.
