I know with the stock driveshaft with the 3.92 gears and factory 22” rims 130mph the driveshaft comes apart. Mine did that and costs me a new fuel tank, rear end, and driveshaft
Yeah ideally would have been nice to have the correct flange installed at the driveshaft shop and balanced with it. They said to try it and see if feels ok if not have offered to rebalance for free
I’m hoping the new tech you figured out on the driveshaft will be the ticket for success for both trucks I’ve got my fingers crossed 🤞!!!!!! I figured it was only going to be a matter of time before it was figured out Can’t wait for seeing a pass down the track successfully!!!LOL!!!!
Notsure if anyone informed you but those damppers on the drive shaft you painted is for manual trannys for in between shifting to absorb any over power to the shaft. lol just on a f150 v6 i twist them off, the fords look the same size as what you have.
Oh and I’m hoping you’ll be getting a lift for the shop take it from someone who knows it won’t be long before your body is going to say no to crawling around on the ground!!!!??????
Hey man I've got a 2011 ram quad cab and everytime it revs to 3500 I get a loud vibration noise.. no idea what it is any pointers? I've had exhaust work done after a couple accidents but idk man, it's super frustrating

The only concern with you installing the damper on the new drive shaft is you should have it rebalanced to confirm that nothing has changed.

I understand your thought process for wanting the slip at the back but I suspect the dampener will need to be at the tranny tailshaft in the front.
Factory position for the dampener is at the rear so that’s where I kept it

Are you going to notch the cross member? Even lowered 2/4 my replacement drive shift occasionally connected with the cross member.
