I wish MS would make it easier [like with categories] then I would colour code all my emails by different suppliers so as soon as they appear I can tell who they from and prioritize accordingly!. thanks for the video Leila.

I use this all the time to quickly see if this was sent to a group email list or to myself. Then I use Quick Steps to quickly file emails without having to open each one. Saves a ton of time!

Leila, your videos are extremely helpful. Is there a way to setup conditional formatting to change color of all emails from a specific sender? I was able to setup the formatting for a specific word in the subject line.

Could you do some of the tips using only the online versions? A lot of the features in outlook, and other apps are not available with the online version and it would be helpful to learn the differences and if some of the tips can still be done there.

I’ve done this for years and it’s great! I set mine where if I am the only person I. The address line the email is I. Red, this way I focus on those and then scan the others to see which are simply marketing and file those accordingly.

Immediately applied this - and some other conditional formatting as well. I'm not convinced OUtlook is the mostpowerful tool (lack of good shortcuts like excel has), but things like this make it more manageable.

Hi Leila, really neat tip on Outlook! It will work great on my personal Outlook. Unfortunately, we recently had to convert to Gmail at work in a rather rapid fashion. I have done OK with labels and tabs but it's still somewhat confusing, especially when trying to follow a long chain of emails. Would you be able to do a few video-tips on how to efficiently organize Gmail?
I don't use Gmail now but I'll add it to my list. Thanks for the suggestion.

This has been really useful for my wife, who is a lecturer and gets copied in unnecessarily to far too many e-mails! Thank you. I have request for a future video...can you set up an automatic Out of Office reply that is sent every weekday between for example 17:00 and 08:30 the following morning? I can't find any solutions on the web. Thanks.

Greetings mate, this is Very Insightful content However personally I feel, those who would allow the market dynamism determine when to trade or not are either new in stocks / crypto currency world in general or probably just naive, stocks and crypto currencies have seen far worse times than this , Enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions. I have an assistant to whom I have given access to my emails to help monitor them, however, I sometimes get an email marked confidential. If your color coded person in Outlook is blind CC'd on an email will it still show up as your color in Outlook?
Love your guides, great work. Is there a solution/tip for gmail-outlook users, where when the email is deleted from the outlook inbox then the email is also deleted from gmail-inbox as well as gmail-allmail folder? Have resorted to using thunderbird due to this very reason and miss all the outlook benefits. I access 3+ gmail accounts for work and personal!!
Hello Leila, this is not working. What are the possible reasons of failure?
I put this to use right away. How would I get this to work where I am one of the people on the To: line and the email is coming from a specific "Location"?
This doesn't work for me o.O I'm pretty sure I've followed all steps correctly. But my CC messages only ever show up the same old blue. I did the same steps with "when I'm the only recipient" in another colour and this worked. But not with CC.
