Thanks for posting, although the manual tells you about these functions I find they never tell when you would use them or the benefits, this helped. I’ll definitely check out your next video about shooting video with the X-E3
Chris, when I view a still photo on the camera I want ONE histogram. I can't get rid of the FOUR histograms currently shown (red, blue, green, white.) How can I get just one white histogram in play-back mode?
Good question, sir. I believe it comes to what is important for you. If flip/tilt screen matters in your photography than T200 is your best bet. If you appreciate very small form factor body and minimal controls, but fixed screen and older Xtrans sensor (that still performs admirable) than XE3 is your call. Hope this helped👍
You sound is very low..... I have to crank up my volume to listne to it. Could be my gear,- but I dont think so, Great video, I have the X-E3 and this was great help....
I have the X-E3 and my firmware is up to date. I don't have the option of selecting "raw", and several of the menu options you adjusted are grayed out. Do you have any suggestions?
I can't find a way to control the ISO with the dial on the back face (top right). To change the ISO I must press the dial down and then scroll to change. Is there a way to set it so you just have to scroll the dial (without having to press it first)?
I am not sure. I don’t have the camera with me anymore. But if you hold Display button down for 3 sec you’ll see all the customization for buttons and dials. Pressing down the dial it’s actually an easy way to have 2 functions on the same dial. But I understand if that is not an option for you👍
Unfortunately I don’t have the camera anymore. But I have no idea what you are trying to achieve. Perfect dark effect? You meant a moody look for art food photos? Please explain more of you concept and maybe I can help you with what I have. The effect that I believe you are trying to get is more likely obtained in post production. The look, color wise, can only be affected by the film simulations. But give me more about your concept. Thank you for watching👍
I cant get my camera to focus properly. Even with a tripod and a F8 in day light, its always slightly blurry. My wife has the Fuji modle down from mine and it focuses fine. Is it the camera?
I have no idea why. Have you switched lenses? Did you try manual focusing with punch in option? Have you tried notoriously sharp lenses? If all that was done then your only option is to send it to Fuji for recalibration. It’s hard to tell without having the camera in hands.👍
It depends on what settings are you referring to. Some might affect just the jpegs or both (ex. ratio, iso...). But yes the image quality ones are mostly for jpeg shooters.👍

Much appreciated. Thank you for watching. 👍
Thanks for this. There are some features that can be tricky to use well.
Thank you for posting this. I look forward to reviewing your channel and finally getting setup!! Even "basic" X-E3 has its complexities.
Oh, yesss. Compared to my old Canon, E3 is very complex.
Nice job on the XE-3.
Chris, great video, and what a voice!
Ha thanks man. 👍
Excellent introduction to camera.Thank you.
Thank you for watching👍
Super helpful thank you!

Can you please help me to decide which is better? Xt200 or xe3? Both have different sensors but the former is newer model

@@CrisConstantin yeah thank you so much. You are doing a great job. Love your videos 😀

I agree. I normalized to low. Thanks for feedback 👍

Thanks for asking. Try this: Put an sdcard in the camera and select your DRIVE mode to STILL not video. The menu should be available now. Let me know
@@CrisConstantin No change. I still only have fine and normal as my image quality options.
When the camera is in Auto mode, some settings are overridden and cannot be changed. I took it out of Auto mode and was able to make the changes.
@@sonicrenewal fuji doesn’t shoot raw in auto mode

@@CrisConstantin thanks Cris.
hi cris - could you tell me what thumb grip you have on the camera ?
I don’t have the camera anymore, but as far as I remember was a LensMate thumb grip. Good thing about is that is foldable👍
thanks - but what happened to the camera ?
I upgraded and regretted 🤣
Hey Chris, do you mind to make a video of a fuji x e3 camera, I have no idea how to setting for a perfect dark effect with food.
Thank you in advance.

Thanks
How to go back from movie mode to stills?
On XE3 you press drive and choose your mode from there. I believe 1 notch down on joystick from Movie takes you to stills👍
@@CrisConstantin yay! Thanks!
Good review.
Surely the settings only affect the jpeg. Raw is raw isn’t it?

lot are all his opinion settings wierd
