Join my Piano Coaching Program at PianoCareerAcademy.com to get access to the FULL Lesson No. 99, to our entire Video Course for Beginners - and to hundreds of other exclusive piano playing tutorials.
In this video I perform "La Gracieuse" (The Sweet Grace) - an adorable (yet feisty!) Study written by the German pianist and composer of the Romantic era Friedrich Burgmüller (1806-1874). "La Gracieuse" is the 8th piece from Burgmüller's "25 Easy and Progressive Studies" op. 100. At the end I also share a quick 'sneak peek' from the Members Area of our site (where you can see the structure of the full lesson, learn more about our Beginner Course AND our new website!).

@@pianocareer It's been a pleasure to engage with a highly professional training academy and yes there are hours of enjoyment in the process of learning all the details of the notation, expression, dynamics, and so many more things that there isn't enough room here to mention them all. Learning to record one's self on video to see the progress & results from the effort put in to it has also helped me to improve my video editing and music recording skills which are 2 other things that I really wanted to improve on. Thank you Ilinca for creating this program.

I'm afraid there's no free trial of the PCA, right?🙈

Hi Nico! It depends on what you mean by ‘free trial’. Since 2010 (when I started to teach online), I have published almost 60 free tutorials which can be found here on RUclips, and also on my free blog (PianoCareer.com). All these tutorials are samples of what you can find in the Members Area. On top of that, I have put together the most comprehensive FAQ page the world has ever seen (I’m not kidding! 😅), where every single feature of PCA in described in lots of detail [ members.pianocareeracademy.com/members-area/faqs ]. Plus, in all these ‘sneak peek’ videos you get to see the inside of our website, and how things work. In other words, if you wish to join our program, you can make a super-informed decision by using the resources mentioned above. However, if you’re simply asking for free access to my entire life’s work - no, of course we don’t have that. We might design something in the future that resembles a ‘free trial’ - but it will not offer access to everything. Instead, it will be a ‘clone’ of the Members Area (so that you can experience the functionality), but only allow access to those tutorials that are already free. And, of course, the monthly membership is so cheap (considering the massive value PCA offers), that it can be easily considered a ‘free trial’ 😊.

This composer is trying to be Mozart...which he is not! I would rather that you do some real Mozart...by the way your performance is excellent...much love from the USA!

Thank you, Bobby! Our Beginner Course at PCA includes Mozart pieces as well (of course!). However, since diversity is very important for developing a harmonious and well-rounded skillset, this Course features a wide selection of styles, genres and composers 😎. The repertoire principles I use in choosing a piece are explained in depth in the Members Area.
