- We Knives has unveiled a new budget line of high quality blades called Civivi. In this review I examine the Praxis and Backlash in G10 and 9Cr18MoV. These blades are an excellent value in the under $50 price range, and rival blades like the Spyderco Tenacious. I also compare the quality of the Civivi blades with my limited experience with the mainline We Knife 617. Definitely THE BEST knife review channel on RUclips. I get tired of watching guys cut cardboard, sisal, paper and wood with the camera focused on their "busy" hands pointing all over the place, or constantly mugging in the camera with stupid bearded face. KNIFE BRO is the best knife reviewer. Anyone who can fit Rob Schneider into a knife review deserves full support ! FYI: love the comparison shots with other knives. Kind of useless to most of us to watch a video without seeing the knife compared to other, more common knives. Bestech also has a few nice budget knives, made mostly from D2 and Their design looks a bit cooler and more unique to me. The new Chinese brands have some real gems in their budget lineups in general!

I ordered the exact same model. I kept going back and forth with the Baklash but ultimately the Praxis is more unique from anything I currently own, and the tan model looks amazing!

@@mackhomie6 Hey mate. Sorry about the late reply. Yep, I really like my Praxis. It is a good solid knife with enough weight to let you know you have it, but not enough to drag your pants down like a Benchmade Crooked River does.

Batoning elbo is a real ailment.... its up there with "Nintendo Thumb" for those of us old enough to remember going to school with raw thumbs from hours of trying to save the princess with those nasty corner controllers.

Backlash - the quicker flipper upper! I have a few 9Cr18MoV blades and I've found it to be a pretty good budget steel. It has better edge retention and stain resistance than 8Cr13, in my experience, and it also takes a nice edge.

I understand it's almost a comic necessity at this point... but seriously... Your batoning skills are getting pretty frickin impressive. I've tried it ... and it's not that easy...

I'll offer a counter to the flipper tab remarks, everyone whines if there's no gimping. The tangram orion has a nice smooth comfortable flipper and people whine for it to have gimping. If I were making a knife I like It'd have no gimping, if I were making a knife to sell to the knife community it'd be covered in gimping like a hedgehog.
Yeah well, they're stupid. The Lion Steel tab is awesome and comfortable... however that fucking rotolock has loosened up and started engaging when flipping, so I have to unlock it. The more I think about the roto(b)lock the less I like it.

Review: Someone told me it isn't 32500 lumens. The 25,000 lumen X80 heats up too quick anyway, why would anyone want brighter when it only last a few seconds before stepping down anyway.

I did. At the end of every video I do a 4 video end screen. It was one of the suggestions. I don't know which platforms it shows up on- it works on computers, but maybe not mobile devices.
