  • Today's example is from Falcon Models. It is 1:72nd scale and made of diecast with plastic accessories. The model is of the Israeli Aircraft Industries Kfir C7, from the Israeli Air Force. It is made very well with great detail.

Use of any images or video in any of my reviews is used out of pure respect in regard to units and/or actual people. I wish to acknowledge all those that have served past and present with their respective nations armed forces with some making the ultimate sacrifice. Political ideals aside, it takes great courage and selflessness to answer your countries call.
Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.

Amazing model with nice camouflage. Israeli planes always look nice because of their camouflage. And the Mirage-III/5/Kfir, they are one of my favorite fighters...

I have this exact Kfir! Mine unfortunately had the canopy break when I tried to open it, but regardless it is a really good model!

Oh bugger, yeah I went to open the canopy like it was hinged at first and realised it just pops up and off. I could have easy broken mine too!! It is a pretty nice build, I really do like the camo on these!!! Thanks for watching!!

@@peterhewson3216 Shermanitis sounds nasty, I would suggest staying clear of people with Tiger fever 🤣. eBay is ones best friend when searching for models youve missed out on initial release. It's where I get most of my second hand models from. I have been eyeing a 1/72 wehrmacht train in diecast but it's expensive so still on the fence until I inevitably fall off 🤣

@@heavymetaldiecast With E Bay patience is the key- I waited some considerable time before getting models to "fill gaps" in themes which were both mint and affordable. But I got there---eventually.......Of course being an old git time is not on my side lol! Wouldn't begin to upset you about what you used to pick up at Duxford Airshow back in the day-but what stands out is that what was dirt cheap then is now so expensive you need to sell a kidney to get one.

@@peterhewson3216 Oh for sure some diecast can be absurdly priced. I myself cant afford to pay big money, I do occasionally but try not to as otherwise I am living on instant noodles for the next 2 weeks, haha. The weird thing is at times I get things cheaper from sellers in the UK than I can buy here in Australia. Including the high cost of post and then import tax, Still cheaper than a local person here will sell it for, haha. Crazy!! I actually just bought a Spitfire that the cheapest has been $100AUD here. I bought that model from a guy in the UK for 27pounds plus 20 pounds post and tax which worked out to be $94AUD. I know not a huge saving but it should be dearer getting things from other countries not cheaper, haha. Australia diecast seems to be expensive!!
