You know what really grinds my gears, this drama with Glitch Production and SMG4, I mean we already started off with the whole Tari situation and someone having to give a reason to her being fire even though we were expecting a better answer, and then we had Kevin give us a solid response to this whole situation and how he and his brother are trying to fix it but still someone doxxes him with his actual address when trying to get a better answer which is classic toxicity from Twitter. I don't think there's some great conspiracy to try to shut down indie animation on RUclips (though I'm not saying it's an impossibility), I just think it's probably a bunch of people on twitter getting salty about these people's success and lashing out, trying to get these creators deplatformed either out of jealousy or "popular thing = bad"

I'm so happy to hear that they're already working on getting better management & an HR department! I like Kevin's response to the issue, but I'm very disappointed that it took something as awful as doxxing him to get him to respond. Doxxing, of course, isn't okay, and nothing can excuse it, but I do wish Kevin had spoken up sooner. I'm very glad that other Glitch employees have been speaking up, telling people they love working there while also acknowledging the rough edges of the small company. I really hate to see folks calling them greedy for advertising merch, since merch sales & RUclips ad revenue are their only sources of income, and I don't think ad revenue is worth much money compared to merch sales. honestly I gotta agree with @lilyblade3289 , I've been a fan of SMG4 and Glitch since 2016 and I've always enjoyed their productions. If anything I hope all this drama gets sorted out and everyone generally begins to feel happier while working out the rough-edges and flaws. And as said before, Doxxing somebody is never ok. I always had a feeling something was wrong when ep 4-5 came out so quickly. When I saw that employees were crunching HARD, I was more or less disappointed really, but i've heard stories about crunch alot in general. But people became VIOLENTLY upset, like so much to the point of boycotting the production team. I simply patiently waited, but when they kept pumping out ads for merch, I started to get slightly mad, as if they were trying to sweep the situation under the rug. But as I saw the replies, I was worried. People were asking for a response, which is fine, but others (i wont name who) were saying that Kev was an evil and money hungry person. During the doxing situation, I was unsurprised in a bad way. The amount of doxing and drama on mdtwt kinda nullified my shock to it. Ofc, it's not right. Doxing anyone for any reason makes you a horrible person. When the apology came out, I was relieved. He wasn't greedy, he was human, and he made mistakes. I honestly expected this to be the outcome tbh, and it was the best apology i've seen so far this year. The VA situation is also a mistake. The new VA was supposed to notify her because both Glitch and the new VA was aware she needed time for herself, but they didn't notify her because...they both forgot to.

I never had any interest in glitch, I found their series always to be meh, and ever since the whole "human meggy" introduction in smg4, I kinda stopped following both all together. I'm so happy to hear that they're already working on getting better management & an HR department! I like Kevin's response to the issue, but I'm very disappointed that it took something as awful as doxxing him to get him to respond. Doxxing, of course, isn't okay, and nothing can excuse it, but I do wish Kevin had spoken up sooner. I'm very glad that other Glitch employees have been speaking up, telling people they love working there while also acknowledging the rough edges of the small company.
I really hate to see folks calling them greedy for advertising merch, since merch sales & RUclips ad revenue are their only sources of income, and I don't think ad revenue is worth much money compared to merch sales. I really hope this situation doesn't get any worse, I love Glitch, and I have ever since it started up.

honestly I gotta agree with @lilyblade3289 , I've been a fan of SMG4 and Glitch since 2016 and I've always enjoyed their productions. If anything I hope all this drama gets sorted out and everyone generally begins to feel happier while working out the rough-edges and flaws. And as said before, Doxxing somebody is never ok. Its a cheap move and a pathetic way to force a response out of somebody and in some cases can even be harmful to the victim.

While yeah I do think their VA replacement for Tari is a bit dumb considering what Celeste's post about the VA replacement said, but I will point out right now that the Glitch Productions Community/Fanbase is an absolute hellhole (Something that could even rival the bad side of Undertale's Fanbase/Community)

2. VA willingly resigned

People need to learn 2 main things, 1. People make mistakes, both simple and real bad, as long as it’s not repeated and the person realizes and does what they can to resolve the problem they pretty decently solved it. 2. Doxxing is disgusting and does much more harm than good. I shouldn’t need to tell anybody that but people need to learn it
I always had a feeling something was wrong when ep 4-5 came out so quickly.
When I saw that employees were crunching HARD, I was more or less disappointed really, but i've heard stories about crunch alot in general. But people became VIOLENTLY upset, like so much to the point of boycotting the production team. I simply patiently waited, but when they kept pumping out ads for merch, I started to get slightly mad, as if they were trying to sweep the situation under the rug. But as I saw the replies, I was worried. People were asking for a response, which is fine, but others (i wont name who) were saying that Kev was an evil and money hungry person.
During the doxing situation, I was unsurprised in a bad way. The amount of doxing and drama on mdtwt kinda nullified my shock to it. Ofc, it's not right. Doxing anyone for any reason makes you a horrible person.
When the apology came out, I was relieved. He wasn't greedy, he was human, and he made mistakes. I honestly expected this to be the outcome tbh, and it was the best apology i've seen so far this year.
The VA situation is also a mistake. The new VA was supposed to notify her because both Glitch and the new VA was aware she needed time for herself, but they didn't notify her because...they both forgot to.
Im just flabbergasted about Kevin getting doxxed.

I never had any interest in glitch, I found their series always to be meh, and ever since the whole "human meggy" introduction in smg4, I kinda stopped following both all together.
