- Wait... what's this? A Cars Are Racing upload in January, this cannot be!
Obviously after the end of a year, this channel normally sits stagnant until around late March when the general racing season gets underway but this year I decided to mix it up a little and go see what the winter rally stages were all about. Despite it being unbelievably cold, I must say it was a great day out; very cool to see some different machinery than normal, and very weird to see them going around Brands Hatch backwards...
Unfortunately I have no real experience with filming anything Rally related so hopefully you still enjoy the footage I captured because if I'm honest, I had no idea as to what I was doing.

Well this all looks like complete chaos. How can you run a rally with that many competitors getting in each others' way?!
I was wondering that aswell.
And poorly planned boundaries with the cones. Hilariously failed!
It was a bloody fun day actually to compete in

I’ve never seen Druid’s before paddock hill in a race before. Love Brands Hatch I used to go all the time in 70s and 80s
Thanks enjoyed, having past competed on original in first 2/3 winter events. Note for the better expect stage changes to original👍🎩 stage

Would have been less chaos to send them out 10 at a time for a five lap race round the circuit.
Do you have the rest of the clip of the guys pushing the Mini? That’s me and my mates. Doesn’t look great that we can’t push a mini (he had his brakes on at first!) lol
No I don’t I’m sorry! For what ever reason I stopped recording there and then, think I ‘fat fingered’ it with my big gloves on, else I’d have left it in.

For a rally they are all running way too close to even put good times in with mistakes causing lifts and stops

Great event, but a questionable course layout for the speeds and turns expected of the competitors.
