9:10 that kind of car is used by the military to make temporary bridges over the rivers in case they need to cross immediately. They just put a few cars like that in the water, and they link together to form a bridge

@@leb2966 I get what you're saying however they can just pick up the creation on the lift to get a block count and they can increase the block limit to account for part size differences between games. When it comes to power cores they can either limit the number of connections for an engine or limit the number of engines/thrusters. The good thing about scrap mechanic and trailmakers is that the challenges are almost all compatible with both games.

Boiys in shoure
Elephants are excellent swimmers. They literally have the perfect system. They float and while there head is under water they lift their trunk out and doggy paddle away. You can even ride them. They are Amphibious.

After years,I finally officially own scrap mechanic
I just bought into it, too! After so many years of watching, I knew how the tools and parts worked, so I only needed to learn the controls and basics of building before I went straight to survival. First thing I build in survival after my Creative Mode slab with wheels? A Jalopy built out of reclaimed Farmer Settlement pieces. Literally 11 wooden boxes attached in the form of a chassis, scrap seat, scrap engine, I *kept* a scrap wheel, and only scrap metal from Haybots for the trim.
I have the entire world of options before me, and I built a truck you could expect to see in The Beverly Hillbillies. I love this game.
Is hilarious game.. and fun. Storymode is amusing, and if your a creative person (I am overly complicated and unskilled).. creative mode is great. I love making stuff, I just never get it to work :D

Part of the confusion arises from there being two words being used
"Amphibious" - being suitable for land and water environments"Amphibian" - a cold-blooded vertebrate animal with ability to breathe in either environment*.Whales and Dolphins are mammals, not amphibians. And since they are not suited for life on land, so they are not amphibious either.
A penguin would be an 'amphibious bird' but it would not be an amphibian - nor are they fish.Humans can swim, but they have no physical adaptation for an aquatic life. So they are not amphibious either.
In the case of Scrap Mechanic inventions, I would say a vehicle is amphibious if is is designed to function on both land and water.Just because a car floats, doesn't make it amphibious.* Not necessarily at the same point in its life. It may have a life stage where it breathes using gills, and another life stage where it uses lungs.

its used as a portable bridge for non amphibious combat vehicles to get over shallow rivers.
The seapickle is actually a military verhicle that can be chained together with multiple "seapicles" to form a temporary bridge strong enough to help a tankbattalion to cross a river
Yeah they assemble pretty fast,time for making one in trailmakers.
That amphibian m3 'pickle' is definitely areal vehicle... It's designed to work in groups to make bridges you can actually drive tanks over them without sinking

Well they did detonate a nuke underwater
Detonating a nuke in water is just detonating a nuke in water but if the nuke is dropped or sent into the concoction of hydrogen and oxygen (without detonating on contact with the concoction) makes it a torpedo but if it detonates on contact with water it doesn’t make it a torpedo.

Amphibious really is just anything relating to, living in or suited for both land and water. So an Amphibious Vehicle can drive on both land and in water. Frogs are Amphibious Animals and can live on both land and in water. If someone is Amphibious they usually can breath both air and in water in DnD. Etc etc. So to be amphibious, ya need to meet one or more of those 3 things basically. Cool
