As pretty as this game looks, I don’t understand why every fighting game now has to be a KI or Tekken clone. You can’t compete against anyone unless you know how to pull off 20 hit combos. It’s ridiculous. Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat were never about lengthy combos.

There was a player back in Street Fighter 4 who was very successful despite not knowing combos beyond basic bread and butter because they had insane neutral. You don’t need to be an execution god to be good at this game. Ed and Blanka are two of the most complex characters in this game. You can easily succeed with less demanding characters such as Ryu, Luke, and Zangief.
