It's really easy though, Just get a front/back scan of any bill, make a two-sided material, maybe play a bit with the cloth modifier to make it look more convincing and boom, you got money

Yeah if you dont have a passion for art, you shouldn't do it. You're saturating the market with uninspired swill. Like using stock footage to make a movie.
@@LazyDev27 3D, 'blendering', etc, etc is not art. You can take it to that level, but only very-very few do (~0.001%?), but in itself it's not art. Blender is mostly used by fidgeting nerds with zero affinity to art.
Don’t get excited selling models is extremely hard and a very very competitive market. Your going up against the giants especially on TS. The only real way to make money is to majorly undercut and have professional quality. Even then the fees and taxes will hurt you.
Best way is to just get a job or find small indy game team and work for them.

@@fitrianhidayat it's called competition and it is ok. There is nothing bad about it. This is what moves the progress and makes things cheaper for everyone.

During the pandemic, I was looking for something to do. I like video games and grew up playing them from the start of video gaming. I am 53 and understand my own limits. Not really an artiest but just keeping my eyes open. I recomend Blender for any begaining like myself becouse I am always watching on You Tube new ways.. So thank you
If you can do good work in Blender, you can do good work in any other software. You just have to learn the interface, not the artistic skill.

What's increasing faster - the number of 3d artists or the demand for 3d artists?
So basically, unless you have mad skills already, don't even think about trying to make money with Blender because the competition is just too great. What about video editing and posting on RUclips? What about making some animated video that showcases a product? What about making videos look more polished and posting those? You think all Blender can do is complicated high end art that only the extremely talented and highly seasoned can make money with? Forgive me but I'm a bit sceptical.
He also didn't mention that, you can also make money via affiliate marketing if you have a RUclips channel where you highly recommend the gear & software that you personally use.
I'm already doing a course on how to do just that, even though its 3D related but its being to grow your channel on RUclips & make a living off of it. :)

How to make money on blender?
- create cube after deleting default cube
- make it the smallest possible on the w axis make it wide enough
- add texture
And there you have it money

Idk about Germany but in the us you can earn about 10,000 in income from a side hustle before you have to pay taxes
Du musst dir auf alles was du an Geld verdienst Steuern zahlen, aber hast auch einen Freibetrag. Ich würde zumindest Mal eine freiberufliche Tätigkeit anmelden (geht eig beim Finanzamt), wenn du 3d Modelle verkaufen willst, nicht das hinterher das Finanzamt ankommt und du Strafen zahlen musst oder wegen Steuerhinterziehung angezeigt wirst. Gewerbe brauchst du dafür eig nicht. Somit würdest du zumindest Umsatzsteuer sparen.

Yes, you can do anything you want with your artwork. Just make sure you are offering the right licensing to your client.

If you can afford to pay for 3ds max, Maya, Cinema4D or Modo, you had better be making money. Those apps are wayy to expensive for hobby use.

The same here. But now the advice you give is not just general. It’s plain rediculous. Like creating a video game. LOL. Learn programming and game design instead of learning 3D modelling. Another advice could be “earn a million dollars” or “become Bill Gates or Steve Jobs”. I’d dislike this vid but I see why you do that. You just HAVE to have a blog. Or a channel on RUclips. Whether it’s useful or useless, it doesn’t really matter)
Only reason you hear "Have fun first" is because you can't make money when you don't stand out. Everyone and their AI dog is an artist.
And the AI dogs are better.
I make more money with Blender even when I don't do anything with it. Not loosing money on license is a great way to start making money because you don't start the year in the negative.

@Dev Guy All "Pros" were a beginner but they had headstarts being (mostly) older or more talented.
@@mrpotat680 nobody is born talented, It just comes down to how much effort they put into their craft, it takes years to become a pro at art, and older doesn't always mean better, just depends on when you started getting into it, whether that be in your 30s or as a child
