Hi is bonding glue or sealant I sealed my wefts and they a lot of white substance when it dried. Would this method also work for this?
Great question. I don't usually seal my wefts, but from what I recall, weft sealer is not latex so it probably won't. It wouldn't hurt to try tho.
Next time try sealong your wefts with a clear drying fabric glue. If you absolutely MUST seal the wefts.
If it does work out, let me know.
If not, you could always go to my favorite emergency weave tool of choice, the SHARPIE!! Simply color over that white residue and it will help camouflage it a bit.

What temperature did you turn your flat irons on to do this?
Mine was on high. Most likely 400
The lower the temp, the longer y I u have to leave it. HOWEVER i have gotten a burnt smell from some tracks before, rarely but I have. Usually if it is a single wefted track I'd use probably 350.
If your cloth is white, you can usually visually see when the glue begins to melt

That's a great question. It depends on the fabric used for the lace. I flat iron a lot of my closures and they don't melt but if the material were fake lace it would. And there is no way to know what kind of fabric the lace is because companies lie

@@maroly8672 maybe the glue didn't get hot enough. It should nearly melt through to the fabric. And give a lil tug like wiping it a little. It should pull rights off. U can't really damage the track from my experience, unless u accidentally put the heat on the actual hair not the track.

Hmmm, I would honestly let that dry and comb it out with a small teeth comb. I feel like heating it would just make it messier and harder to get iut

It worked pretty fast once I did what she said and put the tracks next to each other💯

Same method. Actually I learned this method from what I'd do to get glue our of carpet
Just use a regular iron and put it on top of where the glue is, then choose a stickier fabric than the one it's stuck too.
But the bleed stain under it may have to be tide sticked out.
Good idea for my next trial and error! Let me know of it worked!

This definitely didnt work for me. Tried with an old tshirt and an iron. Still on my search
Really? You are the 2nd person that said this. I'm sorry!
I don't understand how it can't work unless the heat didn't get to the glue. Bonding Glue is majority latex, and latex melts at 130°F, unless it's super thick, then 250F. So if the heat is getting to the weft/glue, it has no option but to melt. After it melts, it should stick and redry ish to whatever fabric has the stronger/drier texture.
Only error might be if the glue didn't get heated enough. Try turning iron on high heat, then leaving it until you see the glue seep through the cloth, then rub the cloth against it as you pull it off.
It should be almost foolproof unless you used something other than latex bonding glue.

Also, make sure the tshirt isn't too thick.

@@lulapaloozah I used a blouse and the hair iron and it wasn't really working. It just made the hair darker in that area
@@yannam.3687 try like a tshirt Material. That my favorite. Once it melts, it should stick to the cotton. But the cloth has to be thin enough to heat the glue up. Once the glue is tacky/melted it should stick right to it
