I've watched probably over 50 reactions to this movie, and I've been WAITING for someone to react CORRECTLY to Hermione's torture scene - and girl, you did it. When I was 10, I watched this movie in theaters and bawled my eyes out during that part. Emma's screams in that scene in particular gave me mightmares for weeks (deadass, fr). I love her so much. Well done for this reaction, I seriously appreciate it so much. Thank you for giving that scene the screentime it deserves. God bless you.
The movies did Ron so dirty. They tried using his character as a form of comic relief. They made Hermione take Ron’s lines, constantly. Ron apologized in the book, but ofc they didn’t include that bc they hate Ron and they want him to seem like a bad person. Also bc during the apology, Harry says that he thinks of Hermione as a sister, but they didn’t want their favorite ship to be invalidated, aww☹️ (notice the sarcasm pls lmao).Ron never said “your parents are dead” once again, the screenwriters hating Ron. Also the dance scene wasn’t in the books, Hermione was too busy mourning Ron’s absence. Harry and Hermione never talked. But, I loved the dance scene yet some people take it out of context. No shame ig lolol
Ron had on the locket for quite a while and was hurt during the time, so that would explain why he still acted like a tool after he took it off. Like he said himself: He wanted to get back to them almost as soon as he left, but it was difficult. Still, the problem stands. Ron in the books was a brave, clever and funny guy who sometimes got jealous and angry. Ron in the movies was mostly a clumsy, jealous, made-for-laugh character. You can't take away most of what made someone likable for 6 movies and then try to actually capture some of the charm of the character in the finale and think people wont notice.
Ron was used to get regular great food either at home or at school. They were really on the verge of starvation. They looked worse in the book. Harrys hair was at his shoulders and he hadn't shaved. Also Ron were weak since he got splinched. And we all know he hasn't got Hermiones selfdiscipline. Dumbledore knew this would be hardest on Ron, even though he couldn't know Ron would be injured. That's why Dumbledore left Ron the deluminator. He knew the pressure might be too much for Ron, but he also knew that if he left, he would regret it and wanna return. Dumbledore had a sharp eye. He really saw people. Ps. I don't need you to joke. As the true nerd I like to hear others takes on what's happening. Ps 2 Movie Hermione's supremacy is annoying, because it makes her less "real". Book Hermione is more complex. Also, on the same theme. These archs is a book/movie thing. In real life these changes in peoples characters may come- or not. If/when it happens it more often than not happens gradually. Rowlings characters feel pretty "real". They are not good or bad but a mix of both.
In the books, Wormtail actually dies. He caught Harry and Ron trying to escape, and began choking Harry with his silver hand, but Harry reminded on how he saved his life when Sirius and Lupin wanted to kill him, and Wormtail showed signs of remorse. Then, his own silver hand began choking him, because Voldemort had put a spell on it, where if Wormtail showed any signs of betrayal, the hand would kill him, and despite Harry and Ron trying to stop the hand, Wormtail was choked to death by his own hand.
I think the Ron dilemma was whether they were doing the right thing in hunting for relics that may or may not be essential to defeating Voldemort or fighting the war like any other, as a soldier. Frontline infantry and all that. He was going to go home, protect the Order and assist their rebellion.
Yeah Ron said sry to Harry and hermoine and they hugged(wasn't shown in movies) and Ron never said Harry's parents were dead it was Harry who said that.... Ron wasn't going to leave he left when Harry continually asked him to go....
Harry acts like a jerk while wearing the locket and his friends immediately forgive him when he takes it off. On the other hand, Ron was wearing it for while after being injured and losing blood, while also not having enough food to eat or knowing if his family is safe, and the trio weren't achieving anything. It makes sense that Ron would reach a breaking point. Harry wasn't even wearing the horcrux when he lost his patience arguing with Ron and told him to leave more than once. I like Harry, but he comes off as the bigger ass to me, and I can't help but sympathize with Ron here.
Hi, I agree that Ron was misrepresented in the movies and he is much better in the books. Having just re-read this part in the book, however, I also want to stick up for Harry. Ron had been surly and unpleasant throughout a large part of the journey. Yes, he had good reason to be this way: He was injured, starving, frustrated at their lack of progress and worried about his family. The horcrux was also affecting him badly. So it does make sense that Ron would reach breaking point. But Harry was not having it any better. He had the weight of the whole world (not just the wizarding world; the muggle world as well) on his shoulders, and being the leader in this whole quest, he would understandably be the most frustrated, and even desperate over their lack of achievement. He had noticed Ron and Hermione having secret conversations without him and suspected that they regretted joining him. In addition, having already lost his parents and Sirius, Harry lived in constant fear that more people would die indirectly because of him (as a result of them being in Voldemort's way while he hunted Harry). The Weasleys were like family to him, so of course he would be worried about their safety too. Ron was making it quite clear that he was tired of being part of the mission, so I feel that Harry telling him to go was not unwarranted. Just my two cents' worth.
In the book when the lady turned into the snake it was discovered that the snake skinned the lady alive, and Hermione found the body upstairs in the cabinet 🤯👹🐍
Taht dance was a friendship dance to make Hermione feel better it was not in the books since they barley talked to each other when Ron was gone Harry was whining about Ginny and Ron and hermione was sad about Ron . Anyways this just proves that Ron is the glue to the trio!
In the books Ron apologize and he’s not the one who says Harry parents are dead Harry says my parents are dead and Ron says my parents can go the same way too. I’m just going to say it the did Ginny,Ron, and a little bit of Harry dirty even the twins. If only the directors read all the books and shipped the canon ships
In the books, Voldemort placed a curse on his name. If anyone says "Voldemort", Death Eaters are immediately summoned to the location of the person who said it. The movies also use this method, although they don't outright say it like in the books. In the diner, Harry says Voldemort, and those two Death Eaters showed up instantly. When Luna's father said the name, those Death Eaters spawned outta nowhere.
You should read the books after watching the movies they're so fucking good its insane. Also if you read the books you'll see how amazing Ron really is and how him and Hermione were meant to be together as their relationship is sm more developed in the books
the necklace affects the pure hearted the most.....so that's why even after taking the necklace off Ron had the affect on him for some time and he was not able to get back to them for weeks because of the protection enchantments.....he was living in a really bad condition too.....it's all in the books but of course movies did Ron dirty the whole time.
hermione supremacy! ✨ Hey Nia! Loved this reaction video! 💖 I was rolling on the floor at 6:14-6:16, "she's a MAMMOTH, of course!" 😂😂 I can't believe you're already almost finished watching all the Harry Potter films and I can't wait for your final reaction to Part 2! ✨
Hermione is an amazing character but she like every human makes mistakes. She is extremely narrow minded and bossy. She always thinks logically and fails to understand people's emotions at times. She also usually panics during some situations.Yet she is extremely smart and loyal . Ron is also a human , he also makes mistakes . He is also extremely insecure yet he is loyal, witty and funny. In the movies however Hermione is a literal Mary Sue. She takes everyone's iconic moments and never makes mistakes. Ron in the movie is just for comic relief all his iconic moments given to Hermione..Ron never said Harry's parents were dead . He was never jealous of Harry and Hermione because he had no reason to he and Hermione talked behind Harry's back alot . He was just insecure that Hermione would choose The chosen one over him. He also apologized once he returned . He defended Hermione when Harry snapped at her and comforted her when she was crying. Also the reason why he left was because he was scared for his family and was afraid of loosing them. Ron is also extremely smart in the books. He loved Hermione so much he begged Bellatrix to torture him instead. This is everytime Hermione stole Ron's line Philosphers Stone It was Hermione who was panicking not Ron In the movies Ron is panicking Chamber of Secrets Ron is the one who explains what mudblood is , that hearing voices isn't a good sign because he grew up in the Wizarding world makes sense if he tells it In the movies Hermione tells Prisoner of Azkaban Ron says if you want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill us too.. In the movies it is Hermione who says it Goblet of Fire Ron and Hermione both fight and none of them cry In the movies Ron is a jerk who made Hermione cry Order of the Phoniex Ron is the one who sees Harry's scar on his arm In the movies it is Hermione Half blood Prince Ron and Hermione both r immature idiots In the movie Ron is a jerk who makes Hermione cry I love you Nia and I'm not convincing you to like Ron and Hermione together , you can ship Harry and Hermione it is totally valid. I'm just talking about how the movies ruined Ron and overglorified Hermione . I love both Ron and Hermione
So many great moments in this movie. The way it basically kicks off with a bunch of action trying to escape from the death eaters, the music throughout the movie, the snatchers scene where they’re being chased in the forest! I love how all you hear is them running and the spells being thrown. You should read J. K.’s wonderland interview on Hypable. She gives her thoughts on the relationships and the dance scene/tent scenes. Says a lot about why we ended up with the ships we got.
Bellatrix cut hermione skin writing mudblood on her arm. But in the book she only used the cruccio spell on her and ron was way more worried about hearing hermione screaming upstairs and he almost cried.
Watching you watch this actually made me like this movie better! Like I always thought it was pretty boring lol but you made good points and especially for just movie watchers its a welcome take on slowing down and actually explaining the story and details. So thanks! Hermione Supremacy 🖤
PEASE NO RON SLANDER!!!! The movies do him SO dirty its not even fair. They give so many of his lines to Hermione and make him the sidekick but in the books he's actually really smart, funny, and incredibly loyal. Also in the books its Harry who brings up his dead parents during their fight, NOT Ron smh
Also Ron DOES apologize in the books, its one of the 1000 things the movies forget about Ron smh. Either way I still love your reactions! It just sometimes makes me sad when I watch your reactions cause Ron is my favorite character and I cannot handle Ron slander
@@NiaLeverne It's alright lol to each their own lmfaoo. Although I can't handle the Ron slander at the end of the day its your opinion. Since Voldemort controls the Ministry of Magic, the UK has become a regime. That is why it was mandatory to go to Hogwarts for the kids pure-bloods and half-bloods. Muggles born as Hermione would be hunted down and executed, which is why she believed that she would not survive Voldemort also controls Hogwarts and that is why Snape is now the headmaster.
Omg yes!!!! It really annoys me when people absolutely love him as he is a coward. It's ok to feel bad for him as he regrets becoming a deatheater however it was also his choice in the first place in a sense. The reason voldy wanted him to kill dumbledore was punishment for Lucius who got himself into azkaban and broke the prophecy. No matter what though Draco is always going to be coward in my eyes
You are asking about who is the impostor who gave up the info to Voldy and his gang that Harry would be moved to the Weasley's at this specific date. Well that is what the scene before at Malfoy's manor is all about, you hear Snape give the info to Voldemort. But the question still stands: who gave the info to Snape or how did he find out? That will never be explained in the movies unfortunately. Come back hear after you have watched the last one if you want an answer.
The guy at the beginning is Rufus Scrimgeour, the guy who replaces Cornelius Fudge as the post of Minister, Fudge had been sacked at the end og Order of the Phoenix and Scrimgeour's scenes with harry in the 6xth book didn't make it to the movie, which is a shame, because Scrimgeour asks Harry to make the Ministry's propaganda to tell people that they do anything they can against Voldemort, he also wants Harry to tell him what Dumbledore is up to. Harry tells him to get the fuck off and that he will never help the Ministry after what they did to him and that he would remain a Dumbledore supporter through and through. Also, Harry won't collaborate until innocents who were sent to Azkaban because of "rumours", are freed and relaxed. Hermione wants to protect her parents who might become potential targets, by modifying their memory and send them to the other side of the world, she ensure their security. If she dies they won't ever be worried about losing a daughter they didn't have the memory of. Navigation through magical institutional buildings is like in any other, you do ti through habit... As for Bellatrix, yeah she's pretty messed up. And the guys she attacks are the Snatchers, bounty hunters for Voldemort. She despises them as inferiors.
Here I thought I was the only one to remember the full name of Esteban from Zach and Cody... It sounds so melodious, sometimes I just say it to myself like some kind of mantra when I'm stressed XD
As a Draco stan, I do understand why people don’t like him, but he is just another kid caught up in a war that his parents are in. He never chose to support Voldemort, his parents did. He continued in their path because his life and his parents’ lives would be at risk if he tried to leave. There are so many things not brought up in the movies around Draco that just make him seem like a bully for no reason. It’s still not right how he treats people, but a lot of the bullying stopped as he got older and started getting his own views beyond what his parents taught him.
Movies make Ron dirty, sorry, but he deserved better. if you search more info, you ar gonna realize that he was fine, is not the best character, but is so much better than in movies.
Well, after the Harry Potter series you still have the 2 Fantastic Beasts movies to watch! It takes place in the same Universe as Harry Potter, but 70 years before Harry!
One scene from part one that bugged me and that make me so mad and sad at the same time is when Remus and Tonks were trying to tell everybody something and then Mad eye had to ruin it and we didn't get to know what they was gonna say and it bugged me throughout parts one and part two until toward the end of the movie when it's finally revealed after they DIED that Tonks had a bay and I was fricken mad I scream into my pillow And then Hermione torture scene broke me into pieces I fricken bailing my eyes out I was like what they hell ! Somebody help my baby she don't deserve this

Hermione Supermacy!! Also..18:50 exactly how Ron is in the books 20:04 exactly how Hermione is in the books I love both Hermione and Ron...No offense just wanted to mention it
Your British accents in this xD By the way, i don't understand how somebody could say that Goblet of Fire isn't a top 3 HP film. So i'm with you. Personally it might be my favorite one.
Ron's dilemma wasnt saving the world or being moody because he didn't even think anything they were doing was saving the world in any way. And hermione isn't that good in the books either. She is a normal flawed character. Most of her lines in the movies are actually Ron's in the books.
in defense of ron in the books is far more level headed through out the entire series and this is a rare moment of aggression he has over the course espicially toward harry and hermione and yes it was the necklace that made him so hostile in the first place it takes awhile for the affects to wear off once removed. also i think this was a background thing but rons actor had to be removed from set during the harry hermione kiss scene cause he couldnt stop giggling while they were filming i always thought that was kinda funny
I was reading through the comments and someone said that Ron does not care about Hermione LIKE NO he literary begged to be tortured instead of Hermione #STOP RON SLANDER
Hermione supremacy 👏🏻 lol and to me Draco doesn’t have a redemption arc I won’t go into detail cause that would give it away but ya I just don’t hate his character cause I can tell he really doesn’t want to be bad but that’s what he was raised into but can’t wait to see your opinion on that as well.
Sorry but the screenwriter tried to make these movies more about hiw much he loved Hermione's character than about the actual protagonist. It's Harry Potter and the _insert movie name_ NOT Hermione Granger and the _____. In the process he made Ron look stupid and insignificant and made Harry look weak and less important. I seriously recommend people at least listen to the audiobooks to get a better idea of how much different characters like Ron and Ginny are in the books. Even Hermione because Hermione can be somewhat rigid and narrow in her thinking. She's tends to dismiss anything she doesn't see as logical or has any proof of....even after being in the wizarding world for 7 years. She can also be kind of judgemental and intolerant. Hermione supremacy to show I was here
As a bigger fan of the books, most of the movies are hard for me to enjoy because of the characterizations. I love Ron and Harry in the books, and their friendship in particular. Seeing how the movies ruined their characters and the trio dynamics just because they favored Hermione is so frustrating (and I hate the unnecessary and out of character, cheesy dancing scene that never happened). I've reached the point where it's difficult for me to even appreciate Hermione's character at all because the movies (and to an extent the fandom) has made me resent her. I want a reboot/remake of the series that is more book accurate and true to the characters.
"Hermione supremacy" - She's great, but no. Read the books. "Ron is dumb" - No. Read the books. "Where's Draco's redemption arc" - Read the books. The movies did a lot of things dirty.

Ps 2
Movie Hermione's supremacy is annoying, because it makes her less "real".
Harry and hermione are literally brother and sister and no one can change that because that's how it is in the books and they are the most authentic
Ron in the books in not dumb he’s actually smart he also beat up Draco in his first year with Neville beating up crabe and goyle
draco has more of a redemption arc in the books, they didn't really have the time in the movie to expand on it
I think the Ron dilemma was whether they were doing the right thing in hunting for relics that may or may not be essential to defeating Voldemort or fighting the war like any other, as a soldier.
@@theCrownofSympathy yeah
@@tpng9100 yeah Harry and Ron are my Favorite Characters like I like Ron in a brotherly way and Harry in a romantic way
Dobby's first and last words. Harry Potter
i didn't even notice that, just broke my heart 🥺
In the book when the lady turned into the snake it was discovered that the snake skinned the lady alive, and Hermione found the body upstairs in the cabinet 🤯👹🐍
Taht dance was a friendship dance to make Hermione feel better it was not in the books since they barley talked to each other when Ron was gone Harry was whining about Ginny and Ron and hermione was sad about Ron . Anyways this just proves that Ron is the glue to the trio!
Oh.. Dear Nia... I love you even though your'e a Harry-Hermione shipper
Yeah, Bellatrix is such a great vilain, I think she’s my favorite as well
By the way, you look gorgeous!
It’s cuz Harry only wore the horcrux for a bit, Ron wore it all day and night that’s why it affected him even longer
If you don't understand you can just us potterheads here we will explain it to you without spoiling the last movie :)
Hey Nia! Loved this reaction video! 💖
I was rolling on the floor at 6:14-6:16, "she's a MAMMOTH, of course!"

I can't believe you're already almost finished watching all the Harry Potter films and I can't wait for your final reaction to Part 2! ✨
I LOVE YOU
I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD AT THIS REACTION
I can’t wait for the 2nd movie
This is everytime Hermione stole Ron's line
Philosphers Stone
It was Hermione who was panicking not Ron
In the movies Ron is panicking
Chamber of Secrets
Ron is the one who explains what mudblood is , that hearing voices isn't a good sign because he grew up in the Wizarding world makes sense if he tells it
In the movies Hermione tells
Prisoner of Azkaban
Ron says if you want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill us too..
In the movies it is Hermione who says it
Goblet of Fire
Ron and Hermione both fight and none of them cry
In the movies Ron is a jerk who made Hermione cry
Order of the Phoniex
Ron is the one who sees Harry's scar on his arm
In the movies it is Hermione
Half blood Prince
Ron and Hermione both r immature idiots
In the movie Ron is a jerk who makes Hermione cry
I love you Nia and I'm not convincing you to like Ron and Hermione together , you can ship Harry and Hermione it is totally valid.
✨ Nicki references are essential ✨
they're simply ✨ a way of life ✨
@@NiaLeverne ✨Exactly✨
Bellatrix cut hermione skin writing mudblood on her arm. But in the book she only used the cruccio spell on her and ron was way more worried about hearing hermione screaming upstairs and he almost cried.
Watching you watch this actually made me like this movie better! Like I always thought it was pretty boring lol but you made good points and especially for just movie watchers its a welcome take on slowing down and actually explaining the story and details. So thanks! Hermione Supremacy 🖤
Aaaaaaaah Deathly hallows part 2 is my fav!!! You are gonna love it
PEASE NO RON SLANDER!!!!
It just sometimes makes me sad when I watch your reactions cause Ron is my favorite character and I cannot handle Ron slander
i know how u feel cause ppl slander other characters i live all the time😩 sorry !
@@NiaLeverne It's alright lol to each their own lmfaoo. Although I can't handle the Ron slander at the end of the day its your opinion. Also, you don't have to, but i'd recommend reading the books (or audiobooks if that more your thing) They're really great, and who knows maybe you'll end up liking book Ron more than movie Ron lol

Since Voldemort controls the Ministry of Magic, the UK has become a regime. That is why it was mandatory to go to Hogwarts for the kids pure-bloods and half-bloods.
Muggles born as Hermione would be hunted down and executed, which is why she believed that she would not survive
Voldemort also controls Hogwarts and that is why Snape is now the headmaster.
Come back hear after you have watched the last one if you want an answer.
love you and your reactions!!!
RIP Hedwig.... :(
Didn't even notice.... maybe I'm in the books not the movies :(

Well, after the Harry Potter series you still have the 2 Fantastic Beasts movies to watch! It takes place in the same Universe as Harry Potter, but 70 years before Harry!
One scene from part one that bugged me and that make me so mad and sad at the same time is when Remus and Tonks were trying to tell everybody something and then Mad eye had to ruin it and we didn't get to know what they was gonna say and it bugged me throughout parts one and part two until toward the end of the movie when it's finally revealed after they DIED that Tonks had a bay and I was fricken mad I scream into my pillow

Ima wait till part 2 is out before i watch tis
Apparently Ron is a lot better in the books. I wish that stuff made it into the movies.
In the books, they were planning on giving Hermione to the warewolf because he likes "young, soft flash" 🤢
