@MaqAttaq1 Sydney's public transport, Airports and road infrastructure is at least 100 years ahead of Adelaide. Even Melbourne can't crack the top 60 best public transport networks in the world. Sydney is ranked the 14th best in the world... and BY FAR the best in Oz!
Welcome to Sydney. Hope you manage to see a few other places while in Australia. Sydney is a key tourist spot but there is plenty more to see. As for beaches, there are 10, 685 beaches in Australia and it would take you 27 years if you visited a different one every day. As it is your first trip you probably would only get to see a small minute amount of touristy things in Australia, and not get to really travel. It not only costs a lot to get to Australia from the northern hemisphere but most Aussies go to Bali for holidays because domestic flights and accommodation are so high. I never heard of that movie with Mary Kate and Ashley. Had to look it up. Sadly the Opera House is one of the 34 Satanic buildings about to be demolished around the world in this war we have been in with the cabal. Other famous landmarks about to be taken down are the White House, Buckingham Palace, Vatican, Statue of Liberty and the Vanderbilt home and many others. I haven't got the list with me. There will be a global EBS soon and martial law worldwide and people will find out all about the 4 wars we have been in - galactic, underwater, underground and COVID. Oh and the real Biden was never your president. He and his son were in Gitmo and executed back in 2018. Different actors played him like Jim Carey and James Woods, and even a robot.
Thanks for the info! Yeah, I got over confident being in a country where English is also spoken, and didn't look up the pronunciation like I typically do when traveling. Won't make that mistake again 🤦🏼♀️😬
I truly had no idea that Australian English pronunciations would be so different from American English pronunciations 😂. I had a kindy teacher (my mom) with me and everything so I felt confident in my ability to read haha. I do know how to say them now thanks to some helpful comments!
You should have heard me back before I learned to pronounce "Cairns". There would be no blood left, and you might start leaking tomato sauce instead 😂. We have learned how to pronounce them properly now haha, and will try the tomato sauce next time, but honestly I just thought they gave us the tomato sauce because people think American's put ketchup on everything. The pies were so good without it!
G’day, Glad to hear you’re on top of the pronunciations, if ever in doubt, ask a local, ask one of us Aussies, we are very helpful, yes? Don’t worry, you aren’t the only Mericans who does this (do you know the proper way to say Melbourne or Brisbane for example?). And yes, tomato sauce is compulsory on a ‘standard’ meat and gravy meat pie (you haven’t had a pie until the meat, gravy and tomato sauce drips down your hand, and you lick it off!). You’ll probably notice that modern meat pies also come in all sorts of ‘gourmet’ fillings, tandoori chicken for example (not all pies require tomato sauce). And no, we don’t go out of our way to give Merican tourists sauce either, in Oz we have Tomato, BBQ and Ketchup sauce, a good selection, just depends on what you’re eating as to which sauce works best. Enjoy your time here. Cheers,
I actually do haha! My Aussie friends prepared me for Cairns, Brisbane and Melbourne, but nobody thought to warn me about Bondi and Coogee 🤦🏼♀️. I will definitely ask next time. Ooooooh I'm excited to try a meat pie in this proper, finger-licking way! Thanks for the letting me know! Cheers!

Townsville and Magnetic Island, Mission Beach. Give Cairns a miss, Kuranda, and unless you have a 4WD I'd skip the rest. Port Douglas is for the Japanese only - way too expensive.
Bondi is about the worst beach in Australia
I could definitely see that. We lived in LA for awhile and it's the same way! The most famous beaches are the worst, I guess the best ones are kept a secret so they don't attract as many tourists haha.
What rubbish Bondi is a great beach much like a lot of others.
The beach itself is fine. The concrete wall behind it is ugly.
Glad you enjoyed our biggest city. But, in my opinion the real Australia is outside of the cities
Thank you! Sydney is beautiful, but we're definitely excited to experience more, we're headed up to Queensland in the upcoming videos.
Gotta go to a footy match......
Thanks for the tip! That is definitely on our list for next time!
It's always funny to me that people visiting Australia call the ibis beautiful and magnificent, when they're known here as a 'bin chicken'. welcome guys
Haha I love that nickname for them! We have "trash pandas" in the US which are also insanely cute to look at other than the fact that they're a nuisance 😂 .
meat pie for breakfast!? Hmmm...not exactly what I would have but whatever floats your boat. Welcome.
we are the lucky country😁
7.39....bond-die beach not known as bond -dee beach
Bondi is not Bondy but Bond-eye
Coogee is closer to could gee than what you say
Thank you for letting us know! This was our first time in a country other than our own where everything is in English, but we definitely have learned now that our English reading abilities are not actually helpful when it comes to proper nouns in Australia haha. Thanks for the heads up!
Loved the energy and excitement in this video, but I did cringe every time I heard bondee, cogie and trying to do the Australian accent, regardless, great video!
👍
😁
Welcome to Australia.
Thank you! It is such a beautiful country!
Where to next? Dont miss blue mountains while your near sydney if you can
Headed up to Brisbane & Beerwah next! Thanks for the rec, blue mountains is definitely on our list for next time, we'd love to go when it's not winter so we can see the glow worms! 🐛
Suce me Ma.am, Its Bond EYE, not Bond DEE, love your vids
1:30 - Bin Chickens are not considered an asset by most Sydneysiders.
Picnic wrecking jerks
🤣 true, but they look cool. I love that that's their nickname, in the US we call raccoons "trash pandas" 🦝
@@letsmadventure this is what Aussies think of the Ibis. Hopefully you’re not easilly offended ruclips.net/video/mO-OpFjHRbE/видео.htmlsi=y4CRy6rg_l_01uet
Bond-Eye. Could-G.
Coogee is pronounced with a soft G.. like in jee
Only the Manley Ferry is worth the visit. Too humid and the wettest city after Darwin.
You must be a jealous melbournian. There's always one in the comments. 😂
That ferry is definitely one of my favorite parts! I didn't mind the weather though, it was a welcome escape coming from the intense heat of Vietnam haha.
It's not Bondee, it's Bondeye when pronouncing Bondi.
Ahhh I got over confident being in a country that also speaks English and didn't look things up like I usually do. Lesson learned. Thanks for the info!
@@letsmadventure No worries.
Adelaide is the most beautiful
We really want to go there!!! And kangaroo island is so close! We're going to need to plan another trip when it's not wintertime.
Adelaide is very boring and only known for churches 😂
@@spidy278-nm7tu you are 40 years behind
@MaqAttaq1
Sydney's public transport, Airports and road infrastructure is at least 100 years ahead of Adelaide. Even Melbourne can't crack the top 60 best public transport networks in the world. Sydney is ranked the 14th best in the world... and BY FAR the best in Oz!
Oh well you already went overseas while in Australia -Manly.
😂 So true!!!!
Stay away from alcohol and strong hallucinogenics. 😂
YOU NEED TO SAY BONDI AND COOGEE PROPERLY ASK SOMEONE
OKAY THANK YOU I WILL.
09:12 Exactly how my wife feels about our relationship...
Get your pies from a bakery. Grey meat ones are best and worescester sauce not NSW girls tomato sauce.
We definitely will! Any bakeries you recommend? Ooooh that does sound like a better sauce pairing. Looking forward to trying it! Thanks for the tip!
Adelaide has the pie floater, sounds disgusting but it's the absolute ducks guts, its a pie floating in green pea soup😊
It's pronounced Bond-eye, mate.
Not Bond-ee
Thanks for the info! Yeah, I got over confident being in a country where English is also spoken, and didn't look up the pronunciation like I typically do when traveling. Won't make that mistake again 🤦🏼♀️😬
Sydney is the face Australia. The most beautiful city in Australia . People can be as parochial as they like but you can’t change facts.
PERTH👍
@@joannemurdock7899 you just dont get it do you
Melbourne by far
The most beautiful city in Australia? 🤣🤢🤮🤣🤣🤣
Pronunciation is a problem 😂
I truly had no idea that Australian English pronunciations would be so different from American English pronunciations 😂. I had a kindy teacher (my mom) with me and everything so I felt confident in my ability to read haha. I do know how to say them now thanks to some helpful comments!
Your pronunciation of Bondi and Coogee made my ears bleed.
Have to put tomato sauce on meat pies too.
G’day,
Glad to hear you’re on top of the pronunciations, if ever in doubt, ask a local, ask one of us Aussies, we are very helpful, yes?
Cheers!
Please. Never try to do an Australian accent again. 🤣
But maybe practice will make perfect 🤷🏼♀️😂
@@letsmadventure Don't feel bad. Many have tried and all have failed. Some of the best actors in the world have failed miserably. Most sound like some sort of drunken Cockney trying to impersonate an Irishman. Best not to attempt it.

Kangaroos , koalas and Vegemite. Cringe.
That's literally the point lol. All the stereotypes in one thumbnail, and then showing what it is actually like. No koalas, kangaroos, or vegemite to be found in the actual video haha.
@@letsmadventure I'll be honest with you, when I seen the thumbnail , I didn't watch it. Maybe next time show a place of beauty or something. I'll watch it when I get home from work. Cheers.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you, I would be more likely to click that. Funnily enough, this is actually the first video that I tried RUclips's new "A / B Testing" where I could test two thumbnails against each other. I did one thumbnail with a more beautiful scenery type photo, and this more "cringe" as you say one lol, and it was pretty close, but this one won by like 8%. I was surprised!
