    Every visitor to Vienna should treat themselves to some of Trześniewski's famous sandwiches, accompanied by a so-called "Pfiff" beer (that's 176ml)! As a native Viennese, I can only expressly confirm this. A very true and infomative Video! Addition: In my opinion, the best Wiener Schnitzel is prepared at "Meissl und Schadn", Figlmüller is also good, but way too crowded.

    • @letsmadventure

      That’s why we put it out. To raise any money for wildfire relief that we can, and to show people that are just watching the news that LA is so much more than just what they think of as “Hollywood”. I lived right across the street across from Eaton Canyon for years, at least two of the homes I lived in have burned down, so many of my neighbors have lost everything and I’m just trying to help in whatever tiny way I can.

    (Bondi = bon-dye, a name used by early Indigenous Aussies, thought to be inspired by the noise of breaking waves in the beach). There are two Coogee's in Oz, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne, to make it more challenging each beach is pronounced slightly differently, Sydney-siders tend to pronounce the beach something like Could(the word)+gee. Hope you had fun!

    Most underrated city? Oh boy! Every year we have 7 million tourists from foreign countrys and thats only the number of tourists who stay in a hotel/hostel or airbnb! And another 6-8 million foreign visiters are here for one day! Thats easy because we have 8 neighbours! Most visiters are of course people from our country itself! But youre right...my home city is the best!😁😁 I enjoy your vids!

      You’re right, definitely still plenty of tourism. We were there in the tourist off-season and still had to wait in line for Demel and museum tickets! Maybe I should have used a different word, I’ve just seen that London, Paris & Rome get the most hype and visitors, but I think Vienna is even better! 🇦🇹😀

    The Holy Roman Empire had no "capital" but a "residential city of the Emperor". Prague was the residential city of the Holy Roman Empire as long as the Emperors were from the House of Luxemburg who also held the Bohemian crown at that time = under Emperor Henry IV of Luxemburg + Emperor Wencel of Luxemburg + Emperor Sigismund of Luxemburg = all in all Prague was residential city from 1346 till 1437 Vienna then became the residential city of the Holy Roman Empire because all the following Emperors were from the House of Habsburg for the rest of the Holy Roman Empire´s existence = all in all Vienna was residential city from 1438 till 1805/06 By the way Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire got elected by an electoral of 7 prince electors called "Kurfürsten" = 3 archbishops + 4 noblemen = 1. King of Bohemia + 2. Count Palatine of the Rhine + 3. Duke of Saxony + 4. Margrave of Brandenburg, later those were 9 = 3 archbishops + 6 noblemen = additional + 5. Duke of Bavaria + 6. Duke of Braunschweig-Lüneburg) so there was no handing over of power due to heritage from father to son. But the House of Habsburg managed to get elected again and again for over 600 years in a row till the Empire collapsed in 1805/06. Because the House of Habsburg was always very close allied with the Pope so they got the 3 votes from the archbishops + they inherited the Bohemian crown so they became part of the electoral and could vote for themselves = 4 fix votes and therefore needed just convince 1 from the rest (by promising autonomous privilegdes + money in return) to vote for them as well. So during the centuries the Kurfürsten became more and more autonomous in their home dominions within the Empire while the Emperor as consequence became more and more just kinda like a prestige titel over the centuries because of loosing some authority power in behalf of internal affairs within the Empire due to those autonomous priviledges the Kürfürsten gained.

      That's not entirely correct. In 1452 Frederick III (III of the HRE and IV of inner-austria/styria) became emperor of the HRE, and his court was in Graz (since 1379 the leopoldinic line of the Habsburgs of which he was a descendant was residing in Graz). After him it changed around a bit between Vienna, Innsbruck and Graz. So these 3 were considered considered residential cities of the current Habsburg rulers. It was only in 1619 vienna became the only/main official residential city. (as far as i could find) edit: correction, had a mistake in the numbers.

    • @michaelgrabner8977
      @michaelgrabner8977 Месяц назад

      @@nirfz Actually Frederick III´s main residence was since 1440 in Wiener Neustadt, from that time on he just made short visits to Graz but also to Linz. His coronation in Frankfurt to became German King was then 1442 and 1452 the pope announced him Emperor. His "court" for internal affairs in behalf of the Empire was foremost held in Vienna´s Hofburg or at the Burg Wiener Neustadt but just rarely occasionally also sometimes in Linz and in Graz. Even his son Maximilian I was then born in Wiener Neustadt in 1459 simply because it was Frederick´s main residence.
