I’ve just recently become acquainted with you through watching Dr. John Campbell. I’ve subscribed to your you tube channel and always look forward to your videos. Thank you for for sharing so many helpful tips in dealing with medical issues as well as everyday life. I’ve lost both of my sons so burnout definitely is something I can relate to! I will be
Looking into the herb to make sure I can take it since I’m on Armour Thyroid medication. You have such a sweet and caring spirit that I really admire and it’s always seen in most doctors.

Appreciate such clear and concise info and practical advise, as I have appreciated Dr John Campbell in his videos. As a retired RN I have found not much help within the profession or the institutions I've worked for burnout or even support for self care until it's later stages. I took a Holistic Nurse Assoc course mid career and they were the first to talk about taking care of yourself first.

Thank you for such a helpful and informative video on burnout Dr Michael. After almost 40 years of clinical practice as a midwife this information would have been invaluable to my colleagues and to myself. Never too late to share !

Dr Michael, You look very tired in this video. Please take good care of yourself, many people including myself need you.
Some years ago I suffered from depression. What I discovered was my feelings of self pity were causing the depression.
What I do today is put my "Peace of Mind" as the main priority in my life. I make all of my decisions on my "Peace of Mind" because without that I have nothing. So please Doc take good care of yourself.

many thanks. sounds like you've been on an important journey and made the best of it. peace of mind is so important. to go to sleep with a clear conscience is a part of that. I think I hadn't slept enough the night before and the lighting is a little off so making me appear as such :-) I do take care of myself so I may do my job properly. best wishes

I didn't know about the 5 stages of burn-out... I'm guessing many of us are at stage 2-3. I certainly am.... How about you?

@@eh..whatsupdoc Hello Dr Cohen I really like your philosophy. Are you a functional medecine doctor? I'm a dietitian and would be interested in a functional medecine approach. I was trained in Canada and now live in France. My first searches for a training in France are disappointing. Seems to be very complement/nutraceutic oriented. The schools are funded by the companies that make the "vitamins and supplements". Any suggestions for a good training in the English world?

U r very right. From your experiences, what do you think is best for difficulty sleeping at night for elderly? And for caregiver as well?

    Quick question:
Is Ashwaganda only for males? It seemed like that during the video. Maybe a clarification would help others.

As a female I have been taking it on and off for a few years. I find it takes the edge of stress and I sleep better.
