Jordi’s strength is interpreting Loris‘ noises for sure!
you guys should do a mini fork service race championship between techs, who can service a fork the fastest with gopro head cams !
I remember when Rockshox was a standalone company, there used to be Boxxer rebuild comps between techs at some rounds.
I think rock shox is doing this! Boxxer world champs
@@dominiksimon2787 sounds like there needs to be a showdown!
Loris and Jordie locked in the back of the trailer. Thunderdome rules.
2 men enter. 1 man leave.
The young folk of today won't get this reference 😂
@@odd_job_007 ....but ...but master blaster run barter town?
As a female mechanic, I'd love to know how Jules got to where she is today!
You guys knock the FOX off with this show. Awesome! Thank you.
Just happy to see some content supper exited to see some more videos 🤘🏻🤙🏻
Glad you got in to film!!
I love these videos guys! Keep up the hard work. I’m learning a lot and having a great time doing it!
Wow 😳 what an intro of the truck. Big cinema
Man, I've missed these videos.
Nice!
i would love to see everyones tool set up
I'd like to get an idea on how Pro-DH racing tunes differ from us ordinary riders ;-) my understanding is that for steep trails & rough terrain (rock gardens, root sections, etc) I'd slow down HSC to stay high in travel on those rough parts while staying in the mid- to more open range with LSC, to allow for sensitivity without diving too much into mid stroke on small impacts, berms, etc. What I realized from some factory team videos, riders tend to put in tons of volume spacers and keep both their compression settings almost open. Is this the key to gain maximum sensitivity while preventing that the fork dives into its travel ? Also, for LSR/HSR I'd start off mid range with tendency to slower rebound to stay "grippy". That's what I would consider a progressive set-up for DH (racing), opposite to a digressive setup which I'd run on my enduro for more pop/lively suspension on flowy trail stuff like in Saalbach. Or am I far off with my thoughts ? I know there's a lot of personal preference-, balance-, weight- considerations, but I would very much appreciate some words from Jordy on those 2 basic school of thoughts (progressive vs. digressive). Cheers.
Would love to see you following rebuilds/services of forks and dampers where there is something intersting. Like shimming, really old components, components that didnt get a service for quite some time, etc. Maybe ask for horror stories of whoever is doing the service.
Look, I'm a half-rate mountain biker who wouldn't know it if you messed with my rebound. But spreadsheets I can do! Hollar if you need help! Love the show. Excited for some racing!
how do you organize tools and spare parts? or do you? i wanna see whats inside the cabinets and what tools they use!
I'd like to know how everyone got started tuning and servicing suspension. And how it eventually led them to a job at fox.
Stoaked these vids are back boys good luck
Prolly a video on a quick 38 or 40 lowers service/oil change? As the 2021 stuff are all new and so good!
Servicing is literally the same for the lowers.
liked already right after the intro ^^
What’s Jordis go to hangover cure? Schnapps are a tough one to come back from..
Bike ride!
jordi cortes yessir, shit sweat shower and you’re back in business.
Totally clicked on this just to check out the van/truck on the thumbnail
Fresh footage, wooohhoooo !!!
More suspension setup vids... loved the two Jordi did but need more!!!
I'd like to see the fox-pit-crew-championship. Any member of the team is responsible for one mini-game or mini contest like a little skill game, Darts, Croquet, Minigolf, frisbee boule or trickshots etc. or a work related contest or something. Creativity is allowed. After every round members get points depending on the rank they reached. At the end of the week the fox-pit-crew champion is crowned. It is kind of a teambuilding task and fun to watch i guess.
Service races, tech vs tech racing to service either a shock or fork. Bike checks for the crew. Q/A with the crew. How to videos if you guys have time on the new 2021 if differs from the 2021. Each crew member their own intro video.
Bike check for the staff would be fun!
Cool! At least they allowed this filming! Hi again,Jules!
A time lapse of the hole weekend can be very interesting 😉 (there lots of interesting stuff possible with time lapse video, bonus, you can remove wath we cannot see)
in depth pit tour!
This was great so glad you could be in the pits
Some shock service with the Andreanni Bleed Machine! Showing how important it can be, so dealers who bleed shock with these time of machine can be well valued!
The best content now would be 2021 shock stuff as it's completely new this year and there's no current info from fox about it. i.e. The difference in tuning the new rebound circuit on the DHX2 and Float X2. Would love to see some sweet timelapse with like 1 frame a second of rebuilds or something!
Could you ask everyone how they ended up being service techs? Would be cool to find out if any of them thought they'd be doing this job say 5 years ago
Did anyone of the people doing the ebike race come in for service and is there anything different when servicing/setting-up their suspensions?
Nice, keep it up.
Missed you Jewels!
Jake, stoked that you got your credentials!!! We need our fix of course. What was the real issue with you having credentials? Why is the UCI having big restrictions on where you get to shoot? Everyone is wearing masks, you have to have passed a Covid test, and you will likely social distance too while shooting. Not sure why you can't shoot outside of the pit. You have done a terrific job getting these episodes out during this crazy time. Nice work as always.
Morning routines. Each votes on the weirdest.
Hey Fox, i have a little tech question: why isnt there a sag o-ring on coil shocks?
And what could happen if i would install a small o-ring on my coil shock?
Because they are not only good for checking sag, but also very useful to check how much travel is used.
Thank you.
Because it would hit the bumper and you’d never see it again for the most part
Hey everbody! First, sorry for my english. My husband and i love to watch you. My husband is the big master of bike repair in our small village in tirol near Innsbruck. (really small🤭). We would love to know how your courier started. Erveryones!!! You all doing a great job. Have a good time in austria. Hello from Trins.. Wipptal.🤗🤩
Alexandra and Harry
Being the face of Fox these days, does Jordi enjoy the extra attention he gets compared to the times before dialled?
So thes speaks relationships of thes #ridefox in the factory #foxdialed thes agradabls legends in yuor good joops in the day. Saluds of chile 🇨🇱 🤘 😀 🍀 good lucky guy's nice day
🙌🏼
full truck roomtour would be nice
I'd love to see how they service the shocks and rebuild them ✌️

Toolbox tours
Refridgerator tours
fork service race
Can you guys show the experience from a pro rider's perspective interacting with the Fox on site team. I am a rider, therefore would like to know the rider's experience.
I'm guessing as a rider I can bring in my fork and shock to get it prepped and double checked before the weekend.
Then when training starts I can drop by to get some help fine tune the settings to the weekend's course.
What else is part of the rider's experience?
Funny team. Glad to see you back on air. New Zealand pretty much back to normally racing now. How about filming the next drinking session???Peter O
Can you guys talk about negative air springs and the balance of performance between having a negative air spring filled by the positive chamber and one that can be filled independently. And or has fox experimented with an independently tuned negative air spring.
How much does kashima coating actually help... and i think justingt3rs’s idea is spot on.
Upgrading on a budget, which would you go for first, new fork or shock?
I want to see Jordie servicing a fork drunk, please!
It would be great to see how do riders set-up their suspension for such muddy conditions?
What we want to see in the videos. One word. LORIS
Would be cool to learn a bit about what they're all actually doing rn (in terms of service, preparation, etc)
Does everyone in the crew ride MTB? Maybe some bike checks?
You should livestream them fixing a fork and shock
We’d like to know why they’re limiting video! Is it just to reduce the spread of covid or is there something else going on? I would love a toolbox tour, truck tour, or maybe some mythbusting!
I know Jordi will probably say "look it up online" but......would I set up a riders XC bike using the same methods as an Enduro bike but making efficiency the main focus ???
I want to see a pit tour
A fox tech crew nude calendar... possibly?
You need a remote control camera so you can drive around and interview everyone.
Do you ever get riders from different suspension companies hang out or ask questions?
Is everyone prevented from filming? Even riders? If not, give a fox rider a go pro during practice sessions to talk through their suspension setup impressions. Then film them talking to jordi in the pits for consultation. Then another lap with the gopro to get their thoughts on the changes
Each Mechanics’ "most underrated tool"? The one they are embarrassed to admit to using more than they should... That one tool that should be replaced but keeps getting used and always comes along for the trip?
Does anyone get “pre race-day” jitters? Who’s the most anxious? Is race-day, just another day for the mechanics, or do they feel the pressure as much as the pre race set-up nerves?
Anyone have any race day superstitions?
What bikes do the team ride? Is anyone brave enough to run a bike with a RockShox fork?!!
Which fork and shock does everyone ride? Thanks
How do you intern with the fox traveling service crew?
Did you see any explosive trees yet?
I want to see xc suspension set up.
Nice insight there...curious though as I couldn’t tell from the accents but what mix of nationality do you have? I’d assume all US, but thought I heard a bit of Scootish? Is that a different team make-up depending on the race venue?
Jules am I are Scootish as Ken. Our resident wizard is German although did attend Hogwarts for a semester.
Taj Hendry , just seen the update on Ben. He looks to have dodged a bullet there and I’d imagine that give you and him the eeby jeebies on the hillside.
Who has the fastest time doing a LL service on a 40? Perhaps a race?
Glad you are back to daily! Question: The LSR chart on the ridefox page for my fork (2020 GRIP 2 160) goes to 9 clicks. My LSR clicker actually goes to 14. So, is 14 open or is 10 open?
14 is open
@@Calispeedboi As far as I know, everything above 9 clicks (from fully closed) has no effect on rebound damping any more, no matter what the actual click range is.
Question for the crew: who counts the first click?
How many services do you guys normally do during race weekend?
Probably 200
YES. Made my day seeing that you can film with the team. Still stupid you aren't allowed to roam with a cam... Bet if you walked up the hill with a phone you could record!!
What’s the song fox yo that shit is dialled!?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This reminds me #ridefox. I just wanted to get some nice custom decals from Slik graphics for my 36 to complete my build but you guys sent them the lawyers and shut them down. Excellent job! Because your core competency isn't suspension technology but decals and you were afraid of competition?
Ask everyone about their favorite car or truck. Just something funny :)
Where is schmitty
Show what everyone’s specific job is.
Lol who isn’t weak to Swiss chocolate.
Loris loris loris we want to see loris
Film the trailer like MTV Cribs... Stock the fridge with weird Austrian goods... Find someone to park a Bentley or Lambo in front of the trailer... Get creative.
How do you guys accept this BS restricting filming etc?
Are you filming in China?
Pack up ya stuff and leave.
