      I bought one of these probably a decade ago now. Never used it. Just checked it. Looks and slides like new. If you’re interested in buying this, comment. I’ll sell it for $50 plus shipping.

    Genius idea to laminate color paper to make the back cover. I was almost ready to purchase a pack of thick black plastic backs. Additionally, I love how compact this machine is. I was looking at much larger coil binders but they appear to take up a significant amount of shelf space, especially with that arm. Using your amazon links to purchase all of this! Thanks

      I’m so happy you found this helpful. I wish I could take the credit for being the genius who came up with using the colored paper for the back of the book, but I can’t. Lol. I hope you enjoy your proclick. I have had it for a couple of years and still love it!!

      No worries at all Michelle. I am so happy you found it helpful. I didn’t know at the time of this video, but if you are ever trying to bind a larger book (that the proclick spines don’t fit) you can always purchase 4:1 pitch spiral binding. They work well on the larger booklets. But, keep in mi d you can’t open and close them, once they’re bound, that’s it. 😉

    thanks for your video! Ive had one of these for years and LOVE it!! I wanted to tell you that you can also use spiral coils...you just twist them on....you can't take them off and add pages, but I like them better sometimes.
    also, what is the history timeline? Did you make it yourself? Your using Notgrass right? We are too.

    • @simplyhomeschool18
      @simplyhomeschool18  4 года назад +1

      Oh my goodness Rolanda Bradley! Lucky you! I didn’t realize how much I would love it! Lol. I will have to invest in some of the spirals. Those would be great for larger booklets, right?
      Yes, we are doing the Star-Spangled History. And we are so excited! So, the timeline isn’t made by me. I printed to from the internet. I will do a video just in case there are other Mamas out there that want one. It is really cool.
      Have a blessed Sunday! 🌸

    I am needing to get a proclick for next year and knew nothing about them until this video. Thank you for sharing because it sure helped and made it all seem super simple. Also, I know you addressed this already but what size is needed again for landscape? I would only need enough for 50 pages give or take a little.

    • @simplyhomeschool18
      @simplyhomeschool18  3 года назад +3

      Hi Megan. I am so happy this video helped. The sizes for 45 pages is 5/16, 85 pages 1/2, and 110 pages 5/8. If you want the landscape spines they have 25 rings. If you want portrait they are the 32 rings. I hope this helps 😉

    Do you know what is the max amount of pages you can bind with proclick? Also are you able to use spiral coil for larger workbook @ 300 pages..?

    • @simplyhomeschool18
      @simplyhomeschool18  3 года назад

      Hi Cristina. You can only fit up to 125 pages with the Proclick. The Proclick and the spiral coil hole punches do not line up on the pages. You would need a spiral coil binding machine for the spiral coils and a Proclick for the Proclick spines. I hope this is helpful.

  • @agusteena5826

    Thanks for the video! But I must know, do you have to exclusively use the proclic binding spines? Or can you use the plastic spirals too? I want to get one of these but I'm not sure I can get the spines you have

    • @simplyhomeschool18
      @simplyhomeschool18  2 года назад +1

      Hey Agus Teena! You can use the plastic spines as well as the proclick spines. Just make sure you get the spiral coil at a 4:1 pitch.

  • @barbra429

    I would like to use this system to make my own planners. Can a page be made that shorter like seven and a half inches long as opposed to a full sheet, can the coils be cut?

    • @simplyhomeschool18
      @simplyhomeschool18  3 года назад

      Hi Barbra. I have never personally used it with those measurements. But, I’m pretty sure if you aligned the paper correctly, you would be able to use it. And yes, the spines can be cut to fit.

  • @kellythom747
    @kellythom747 3 года назад

    can you put a laminated paper in long ways to be cut or will it need to be trimmed to fit?

    • @simplyhomeschool18
      @simplyhomeschool18  3 года назад +2

      Hi Kelly. For a 9x11 1/2 laminating sheet, you would have to trim some off for it to fit in the Proclick.

    How well does the binding stay together? I have a 9yo boy and he’s pretty rough

    • @simplyhomeschool18
      @simplyhomeschool18  4 года назад +2

      Hi @Abby Barton. I haven’t had any problems yet. 😬 But we haven’t started using the books yet. Lol. They seem pretty sturdy though. I have to pull the binding apart pretty forcefully to open them. So that’s a good sign.

  • @barbra429

    I don't know why they make such narrow binding for making booklets.

  • @Gerry-TFuchs

    you are allways talking about pages ... 110/120 pages and so on ... do you really mean pages or sheets of paper? so far: 110 pages are equal to 55 sheets of paper, 120 pages are equal to 60 sheets. for this little quantum - so sorry - but for such a litte quantum i am using a tacker. it so much cheaper and so much easier to handle. on the other side: 120 sheets of paper... i will have to try this system in future, because the tacker needles are not to staple more than ca 75 up to 80 sheets of paper. but all in all thanks for that video clip.

    • @simplyhomeschool18

      Hi Gerry. I’m assuming it is pages. That is what the descriptions say on the binding coils.
