@@wakeupthisisntreal8168 The joke was the fact that Carlos is a Spanish name and he doesn’t speak Spanish. Then after it was revealed he is half Latino so he should theoretically know Spanish but he doesn’t. (I hope I explained that well enough lol)

I love when you start talking to the girls in the audience in Spanish sounding like a whole ass Boricua and then you say "what? I'm half Mexican!" Don't get me wrong i absolutely love you! You are literally my favorite comedian. I fully understand why you don't sound Mexican. Most (not all... my ass is sitting here in Jersey) Spanish speakers in the north are Puerto Rican or Dominican with a few Mexican sprinkled in. So of you have Spanish speaking friends they are most likely not Mexican and pronunciation really rubs off, especially for polyglots.

@@winterkeptuswarm oh, yeah. I heard that part, but when he was talking to those women in the audience he literally sounded Puerto Rican. Maybe it was coincidental. My nextdoor neighbors are Puerto Rican and sound just like that, the pronunciation, the speed, everything. So then it sounds funny to me to hear him say "I'm half Mexican". It wasn't an insult. He's adorable. It was just funny.
