For instance, outer space definitely being the safest place to keep the beginning child, considering her ability. On top of that, there's the fact that she's a brain for a board of directors member, like Kumokawa Seria - when asked what to do with the beginning child at the end of Biohacker, Seria stated that she "knows an old man", which indicates that the beginning child may have been handed over to a directing board member. What brings this theory into doubt would be the fact that Kamachi wrote NT10 4-5 years before Biohacker, so there's a possibility it's just coincidence rather than direct authorial intent, but then again, this is Kamachi we're talking about.
That’s what you’d never think about, academy city has been around since WW2 and probably has had espers for as long. So in that case, who were the former level 5’s since the current ones are all under 25 or so.
I’m pretty sure espers are recent and Mugino was one of the early batches. Not sure why, that’s probably hidden somewhere waaay back in the early books.
The way I've managed to surmise, they definitely had previous generations of espers, but I think AC only started mass producing them once Aleister rediscovered Imagine Breaker in Touma, since Aleister stated that AC was designed for Touma to coax him in and develop himself and IB. This is probably where the Parameter List comes in, so that AC could develop high level espers with maximum efficiency to create an ideal environment to grow IB. Note that, even with the Parameter List, which gives maximum priority to espers with the highest potential, only 7 out of nearly 2 million espers managed to reach level 5 (high level espers are stupid expensive to develop, the previous ones like the cube and beginning child might have just been brute forced into level 5 with no regard for cost). This would also explain why we haven't seen any espers above level 0 confirmed to be older than Touma's year level (the only high school third years we know, Kumokawa and Nunotaba, are both level 0). Mugino is likely a bit older, but she could have also come to AC later, especially given how influential her family is. Additionally, most Skill-Out members look comparatively older than Touma's grade.
I did think before that previous no 1's ability couldn't be stronger than accel but this reveal made things much interesting. Accel's power is not strong, but versatile. The previous no 1 ability may be op among espers and even magicians, i don't think it can work with magic as well as accel. Being able to go beyond just science is what actually makes accel op

The Mental Out manga says that the Synthesis Grid ability is based on a metal bond. If we consider the physics of this type of chemical bond, we can conclude that the Accelerator will be able to reflect the Synthesis Grid. The metal bond is based on the principle of binding metal ions with a cloud of delocalized electrons. This should not be a problem for the Accelerator, since such a physical phenomenon can be described by vector mathematics. Such chemical bonds will have a vector and it can be reflected.
Perhaps Absolute Leaf/Synthesise Grid is the #0 Level 5 Esper that Aleis-tan made a comment on in NT21? They were talking about Sprengel being a legend that is most likely false but could shake the foundation of what people know. Similarly in this case, while Accelerator is #1, if there were a #0 it would be a level 5 AIM Stalker (Takitsubo) or perhaps the previous #1 Synthesise Grid.
I have a theory that Touma is the #0 ranked. I believe that Touma is in fact a level 5 with the power of normality. Imagine Breaker is stated to be the collection of all magicians desire to “restore reality”. Imagine an esper with a personal reality that is perfectly identical to objective reality coming into contact with such a force. Imagine breaker negating and hiding his esper power and his esper power making him a perfect host for imagine breaker. This would also explain how an esper ended up with a magical ability
Base Accelerator victim 💀 jk. But imo platinum wings Accelerator is a wild card that would be enough for Accelerator to win. Accelerator is op not just because of his esper ability but because of how versatile and adaptible he is. And his connection with the Misaka Network.
My thought is Accelerator (platinum wing) > The former number 1 = Kakine The former number 1 vs Kakine is interesting because they can technically do the same thing but I’m not sure if the synthesize grid able to take over Dark Matter or not. I feel like Kakine can find a loophole to make his DM uncontrollable 😅 but I’m not so sure.
it's quite complex, since kakine himself said that DM's properties can be set based on theoretical laws due to it being a theoretical particle, which means he can choose to make his DM behave in any way he sees fit to give him advantage in battle, pretty sure he can also copy esper abilities if he wanted to

Souls have to exist in the Toaru universe. How else would an individual acquire the experience of 10,000 lives necessary to cross the abyss/transcend. I believe all esper powers are soul based. I also suspect that the rare level 4' and 5's are actually "Old Souls" and that they would have manifested their powers magically if they hadn't been imprinted with Aleister's esper paradigm. In ages past, any level 5 might have been considered a god by the common people. Imagine if Soghita Gunha had existed a thousand years ago. 🤔🤟
Souls are confirmed to exist yeah. If personal realities are manifestations of esper's souls then it fits the narrative further of science & magic being interlinked.
I think the cube's power being able to defeat accelerator depends on how his aim field uses vector control. So if the cube affect the aim field before his vector control takes effect on it then it would be able to beat him. Or perhaps they would kind of cancel each other out, with neither being able to affect the other. idk if what i am saying makes sense but i'm thinking about it kind of like programming syntax.
In regards to the Imaginary Number district being a heaven for the souls of espers, this is incredibly close to a theory that I had about the mimosa (the nano-machines that monitor Academy City). I thought the mimosa would scan the brains of all those in the city and then upload it to a secure database so that Aleister could reincarnate anyone who died in the city through a mixture of cloning and braining/memory uploading, like they did for Dolly. Your idea however tracks much better especially if we look at Aleister's background.
A very interesting video. I had very little knowledge about the former #1 much less the abilities. Crazy how it was split in 2 like that but it also makes sense it would be trying to figure out how to rejoin with itself. Considering the Toaru universe is based on religion and magic working together there obviously has to be a heaven and hell and soul situation. I really like your theory and it makes sense while also filling in the gap of how certain things happen and where the souls are going. As of this point in time, I feel Accel would win a fight. Previous iteration would lose, but right now in Accel's current state, his abilities and the people in his life would definitely give him the edge. On a side note, I really loved the anime A Certain Scientific Accelerator. It is one of my favorites and I am still holding out for a season 2.
As for how dark matter retained his personal realiyy without a brain, I think it is because Kakine made it so that all of his dark matter created after a certain point has a blueprint of his brain written into it, sort of like dna. Essentially, if his personal reality seizes to be, it works as a dead man’s switch, making it so that dark matter automatically recreates a new one.
Their power isn't mimosa. Its apparently like Mimosa except on an extreme level. Their power would produce a crystal with superior bonding ability, such that it could even bond with the intangible, and then allow the user full control over it. Since this power can bond with AIM, it can render Accelerator's AIM null, thus nullifying his inherent vector field. And while one could say that he could also control Dark Matter, we have to remember that Kakine can convert matter into Dark Matter as shown in NT8. Kakine's ability to transmute could wrest control of the crystal from the Former 1 and conversely give Kakine that Crystal.
The process works via Bonding, Bonding has vectors, it would be a who does it first kind of thing, accelerator can stop the bonds from happening in the first place, it just depends on who does it faster
I thought I wasn't going to like Mental Out because Misaki isn't a character who fights on the front lines + the fact that the first few chapters focus on a school war over student council. But I would say that I'm enjoying it more than the current Railgun arc for example, precisely because the old #1 appears in the story. When Index ends (which will take years and years) Kamachi could create a spin-off of Aleistan, showing step by step his childhood, his magical training, his connection with the Golden Dawn, with the Heaven Canceller, with his wife and daughter, with Aiwass etc showing everything behind the creation of the academy city and the Espers Power system, adding references of some Espers we know like Touma, Accelerator, Misaka when they were 5 years old, in addition to introducing the other Espers that came before them etc. It would be like Fairy Tail zero where it shows how the guild was created or the Sinbad Spin-off showing how he reached his peak in Magi conquering the 7 seas. And then the story could end with Touma meeting Index, making reference to chapter 1 of the series and showing Aleister's smile as if saying: "Keikaku Dori" thus announcing that when science and magic intersect, history begins. ok i just created a fanfic 😂
It's an interesting idea. For sure if index was finalized and I finished reading it and saw that the author announced a spin-off like this, I would read it with great enthusiasm. And in the end, if it was exactly that scene you quoted, it would make me re-read Index's entire journey again lol. But I believe that this would also be the most time-skipped story the author has ever created, as it is very difficult to create a story from Aleister's childhood to the days that Index passes.
Yew I would love to hear about the previous espers I want to see how different and similar they are to the current ones I also wonder if some are still alive and will become key players in the future. I also want to see them interact with the current ones

I mean there's so much we don't know about it, as its been pretty under explored in NT and only recently in GT & Mental Out its been getting attention again. Once we know for sure what its true nature is then maybe I'll make a video about it, but not sure how many people would watch a vid only about the INSD.
If Accelerator and Synthesized Grid would fight it would damage Academy City completely. Let's hopefully think that they do not take out everything in Academy City. I’d assume that Aleister prepared some anti-dectection countermeasures before taking on the former number 1. Unlike with his appearence in Russia, his potential fight with the former number 1 would’ve taken place in Academy city, Aleister’s home terf, meaning that he probably had something prepared to mask his mana. After all, Aleister has had a long to time to think up anti-magic countermeasures, especially since he’s the one who came up with most forms of modern magic.
I don't think the previous no 1 level 5 esper can beat current Accelerator. The Accelerator at the beginning might be able to tie with her is she can regenerate like Kakine. Btw do you intend to make theory videos about Toaru in future?

The only examples we have of this phenomena in particular are level 5 espers, while coffins are a slightly different matter. We can assume that instead of being preserved by some outside means, instead the esper ability becomes self sustaining as the esper gets closer to level 6 at the cost of the body being overtaken by the ability. It's not that different from transformation that the magic gods go through and the end result would also probably be pretty similar. Perhaps that's why transition from level 5 to level 6 is so difficult. The espers are told that they would have the power of gods if they achieve it, but it seems most espers assume they would still retain their humanity while just being stronger than before. If we use magic gods to scale how powerful a level 6 should be, the difference in scale of power and just level of existence becomes obvious.
I don't know absolute leaf and SG seem strong but considering their opponents are MisaMisa 😅. Also they don't appear in the current timeline so I'm not expecting much.

Sounds like an upgraded liquid shadow with aim stalker thrown in. Basically they convert external aim fields into shadow metal that the user can control. In terms of offense I’d expect stabbing weapons and constructs similar in function to misakas iron sand, in terms of defense they just have a version of reflect that just converts filtered projectiles and powers into shadow metal. Strong but not overwhelming powerful, they’d definitely top Kakine but I don’t think Accelerator would have a problem dealing
if accel dealth with kakeines dm after a couple of minutes the same would happen to this cubes power well it technicaly debunked it self since mimozas has to have vector in order to attack-move or do anything basicaly so yeah maybe accel would get pushed back in the first like 5 mins but after that he could just calculate it out and make rubic cube out if xd
I think accelerator wins against synthesize grid. Simply being accelerator will find some sort of way to overcome synthesize grids power like what he did to Kakine. Any winged form of accelerator destorys synthesize grid imo. Also i think synthesize grid and kakine are on equal footing with one another but would say the former would be slightly stronger than latter.
First impression: how can there be a former lvl 5 and esspecial number one? Than i thinked about it. Accelator: nearly died by the head shoot.. Dark Matter: was tried to be killed by the professor with the nano machine. Practicly died by the fight agains Accelator. Railgun: was nearly killed by the shift project. Could have died by the fight again Mealtdowner. Mealtdowner: nearly killed herself again the lvl 0 boy. Could have died at the end of the fight with Railgun. Mental out: the professor wanted to erease her, when they was finished with her. She nearly died by the fire in the newest chp. Maybe the incident, where Touma helped her. The old professor by the shift project tried to kill her. Number 6: dont know. Number 7: had some fights. Like again Railgun 5.5, where he obtained some dmg. Maybe he had some cases, where he was near death. In conclusion: practily every lvl 5 had at last one situation, where they had luck to survive. So, it is very possible, that earlier lvl 5 had lesser luck. Esspecial when you take into account, that high lvl esper vanished or died very often in this city. From what the women telled to Uiharu.

When they have around 7 lvl 5 by only 2 million people. How many lvl 5 would be created, if they had the whole world as ressources?^^ And, i dont know how old the city is. The manga/anime didnt mentioned it yet, when i remember it correctly (the index manga only sayedf, that theey used free spaces by Tokio or so, to create this city, where i wondered, how they can have free space). I only find it questionable, that whe dont have adultz esper yet. And, wonder, what will happen with them, wqhen they finished the school. Are they realy able to leave the city or find jobs there?^^
Railgun is in the middle of setting up some stuff and sadly for the nature of a monthly manga it does take some time. Even astral buddy and mental out had a slow period of being ok/mid. Trust that it will get to the good stuff soon
To give you some perspective, the toaru animes only covered the first 22 volumes of the novel (old testament) and the first 96 chapters of the railgun manga and like 30 from Accelerator manga. You still got left: 23 volumes of the second novel of index and 8 from the third novel still being updated A whole bunch of railgun manga chapters starting from ch97 40 chapters of astral buddy manga 4 of dark matter manga 17 from mental out manga 1 novel spinoff for ITEM (soon to be getting a manga) A bunch of sidestories

The question should also be asked is female aliester at the end of index nt stronger or weaker than his male counter part or are they the same? As if I remember correctly the clones were never stated to be inferior to the original and if that is the case since Accelerator effortlessly killed a clone I'd have to put Accelerator above the former number one. Now moving on to my next question did it take aliester and kihara to take down the former number one or did aliester only appear and attacked the former number one because Academy cities super computer told him that with the former number ones death he could create a fake heaven. I don't care if the current is stronger or if the former is as the current could surpass the former but what I would like to know is why did aliester attack the former number 1 the other question is was the former number one a partner to aliester and if so since it's stated in the light novel that esper abilities was created by aliester himself could it be possible that the one who truly created esper powers was the former number one and if this is the case I'd give the edge to the former number one do to being the true creator of esper powers thus could do what aliester did in the light novel take esper powers away.
Some mastered magic, others had no magical prowess and some were weird creatures. Aleister was stronger when he had access to the hidden world as being able to exist there makes him higher dimensional, but he destroyed it. Reason why the hazards were easily killed is because the prime Aleister (Aleistan) was the one getting the physical blood sign boosts, and Aleister/Crowley Hazards have very bad durability without the blood sign or magic boosts. Atm we don't know how strong Aleiszon is, but since she crossed the abyss and has coronzons body she's likely very strong. But again without the hidden world, but if she has access to the abyss that would help.
@Aeon of Horus I've only read up to nt Volume 20. I want to continue, but since I work the night shift, it's harder for me to concentrate like I want to. But the question still remains: Why did aliester attack the first number one and could Accelerator stop the real aliester. I do remember a quote Accelerator said, which implies he could kill aliester but was that him being arrogant is he truly able to kill aliester. I can't say myself as characters state one thing that turns out to be false . Still the question remains who is the former number 1 and is he truly the former numbers one or is he or she the first esper to exist? Thus the original creator of esper powers. Also could it be possible that since Accelerator doesn't remember his name it could be making him weaker. Like a true limiter to his powers. And final question could it be possible that the former number one was killed because she or he had a child and that child was Accelerator. For example what if Aliester is the father of Accelerator and wanted to experiment on his son. But the former number one was against it Thus aliester killed her as he had no love connection with her . I don't know the former number ones gender so all I can do is theorize but still I personally wouldn't mind Accelerator being aliesters child. Is he probably not is it a possibility yes as his parents have yet to be revealed along with his real name. Which could be yukio suzushina.
from what i know from an outside perspective these series always go up and rarely straight sideways. what I mean is that it may LOOK like this ability doesn't get past vector control but that'll likely be as a result of application and the ability if taken as a whole will subordinate vector. it would be more interesting to NOT have either be superior and they just be two different ultimate powers resulting in the circumstances of the confrontation being the primary factor in grid appearing superior I dunno, this gots that fate/type-moon kinda stink and one of the reasons I never got into index was because I was already exposed to shit before I started and it's like watching fate stay night in current year
Recommend reading the Index light novel as its ahead of the manga by a long shot, but if you're adamant about manga only, then you can start with the Index manga. Then Railgun, Astral Buddy, Dark Matter, & Mental Out.
Great video We all know who the TRUE number 1 Esper is. It sounds like Cube can attack AIM fields directly if so I dont see Accelerator's vector shield being able to protect against it. Kakine on the on the other hand he wins hands down.

Base Accelerator victim 💀 jk. But imo platinum wings Accelerator is a wild card that would be enough for Accelerator to win. Accelerator is op not just because of his esper ability but because of how versatile and adaptible he is. And his connection with the Misaka Network.

The former number 1 vs Kakine is interesting because they can technically do the same thing but I’m not sure if the synthesize grid able to take over Dark Matter or not. I feel like Kakine can find a loophole to make his DM uncontrollable 😅 but I’m not so sure.
it's quite complex, since kakine himself said that DM's properties can be set based on theoretical laws due to it being a theoretical particle, which means he can choose to make his DM behave in any way he sees fit to give him advantage in battle, pretty sure he can also copy esper abilities if he wanted to

I believe all esper powers are soul based.
I also suspect that the rare level 4' and 5's are actually "Old Souls" and that they would have manifested their powers magically if they hadn't been imprinted with Aleister's esper paradigm.

I think the cube's power being able to defeat accelerator depends on how his aim field uses vector control. So if the cube affect the aim field before his vector control takes effect on it then it would be able to beat him. Or perhaps they would kind of cancel each other out, with neither being able to affect the other. idk if what i am saying makes sense but i'm thinking about it kind of like programming syntax.
In regards to the Imaginary Number district being a heaven for the souls of espers, this is incredibly close to a theory that I had about the mimosa (the nano-machines that monitor Academy City). I thought the mimosa would scan the brains of all those in the city and then upload it to a secure database so that Aleister could reincarnate anyone who died in the city through a mixture of cloning and braining/memory uploading, like they did for Dolly.
Your idea however tracks much better especially if we look at Aleister's background.
A very interesting video. I had very little knowledge about the former #1 much less the abilities. Crazy how it was split in 2 like that but it also makes sense it would be trying to figure out how to rejoin with itself. Considering the Toaru universe is based on religion and magic working together there obviously has to be a heaven and hell and soul situation. I really like your theory and it makes sense while also filling in the gap of how certain things happen and where the souls are going. As of this point in time, I feel Accel would win a fight. Previous iteration would lose, but right now in Accel's current state, his abilities and the people in his life would definitely give him the edge. On a side note, I really loved the anime A Certain Scientific Accelerator. It is one of my favorites and I am still holding out for a season 2.

As for how dark matter retained his personal realiyy without a brain, I think it is because Kakine made it so that all of his dark matter created after a certain point has a blueprint of his brain written into it, sort of like dna.
Essentially, if his personal reality seizes to be, it works as a dead man’s switch, making it so that dark matter automatically recreates a new one.

Their power isn't mimosa. Its apparently like Mimosa except on an extreme level. Their power would produce a crystal with superior bonding ability, such that it could even bond with the intangible, and then allow the user full control over it. Since this power can bond with AIM, it can render Accelerator's AIM null, thus nullifying his inherent vector field. And while one could say that he could also control Dark Matter, we have to remember that Kakine can convert matter into Dark Matter as shown in NT8. Kakine's ability to transmute could wrest control of the crystal from the Former 1 and conversely give Kakine that Crystal.

The process works via Bonding, Bonding has vectors, it would be a who does it first kind of thing, accelerator can stop the bonds from happening in the first place, it just depends on who does it faster
I thought I wasn't going to like Mental Out because Misaki isn't a character who fights on the front lines + the fact that the first few chapters focus on a school war over student council. But I would say that I'm enjoying it more than the current Railgun arc for example, precisely because the old #1 appears in the story.
When Index ends (which will take years and years) Kamachi could create a spin-off of Aleistan, showing step by step his childhood, his magical training, his connection with the Golden Dawn, with the Heaven Canceller, with his wife and daughter, with Aiwass etc showing everything behind the creation of the academy city and the Espers Power system, adding references of some Espers we know like Touma, Accelerator, Misaka when they were 5 years old, in addition to introducing the other Espers that came before them etc. It would be like Fairy Tail zero where it shows how the guild was created or the Sinbad Spin-off showing how he reached his peak in Magi conquering the 7 seas. And then the story could end with Touma meeting Index, making reference to chapter 1 of the series and showing Aleister's smile as if saying: "Keikaku Dori" thus announcing that when science and magic intersect, history begins. ok i just created a fanfic 😂
It's an interesting idea. For sure if index was finalized and I finished reading it and saw that the author announced a spin-off like this, I would read it with great enthusiasm. And in the end, if it was exactly that scene you quoted, it would make me re-read Index's entire journey again lol. But I believe that this would also be the most time-skipped story the author has ever created, as it is very difficult to create a story from Aleister's childhood to the days that Index passes.

She does, A Certain Scientific Mental Out. Its only on 16 chapters roughly, so an anime will prob be a while if it happens

If Accelerator and Synthesized Grid would fight it would damage Academy City completely. Let's hopefully think that they do not take out everything in Academy City. Unlike with his appearence in Russia, his potential fight with the former number 1 would’ve taken place in Academy city, Aleister’s home terf, meaning that he probably had something prepared to mask his mana.
After all, Aleister has had a long to time to think up anti-magic countermeasures, especially since he’s the one who came up with most forms of modern magic.
I don't think the previous no 1 level 5 esper can beat current Accelerator. The Accelerator at the beginning might be able to tie with her is she can regenerate like Kakine.

The only examples we have of this phenomena in particular are level 5 espers, while coffins are a slightly different matter. We can assume that instead of being preserved by some outside means, instead the esper ability becomes self sustaining as the esper gets closer to level 6 at the cost of the body being overtaken by the ability. It's not that different from transformation that the magic gods go through and the end result would also probably be pretty similar. Perhaps that's why transition from level 5 to level 6 is so difficult. The espers are told that they would have the power of gods if they achieve it, but it seems most espers assume they would still retain their humanity while just being stronger than before. If we use magic gods to scale how powerful a level 6 should be, the difference in scale of power and just level of existence becomes obvious.
I don't know absolute leaf and SG seem strong but considering their opponents are MisaMisa 😅. Also they don't appear in the current timeline so I'm not expecting much.
If Aleister and Noukan had to intervene to kill them.... they must be hella strong

Sounds like an upgraded liquid shadow with aim stalker thrown in. Basically they convert external aim fields into shadow metal that the user can control. In terms of offense I’d expect stabbing weapons and constructs similar in function to misakas iron sand, in terms of defense they just have a version of reflect that just converts filtered projectiles and powers into shadow metal. Strong but not overwhelming powerful, they’d definitely top Kakine but I don’t think Accelerator would have a problem dealing
if accel dealth with kakeines dm after a couple of minutes the same would happen to this cubes power well it technicaly debunked it self since mimozas has to have vector in order to attack-move or do anything basicaly so yeah maybe accel would get pushed back in the first like 5 mins but after that he could just calculate it out and make rubic cube out if xd
I think accelerator wins against synthesize grid. Simply being accelerator will find some sort of way to overcome synthesize grids power like what he did to Kakine. Any winged form of accelerator destorys synthesize grid imo.
Also i think synthesize grid and kakine are on equal footing with one another but would say the former would be slightly stronger than latter.

First impression: how can there be a former lvl 5 and esspecial number one?
Than i thinked about it.
Accelator: nearly died by the head shoot..
Dark Matter: was tried to be killed by the professor with the nano machine. Practicly died by the fight agains Accelator.
Railgun: was nearly killed by the shift project. Could have died by the fight again Mealtdowner.
Mealtdowner: nearly killed herself again the lvl 0 boy. Could have died at the end of the fight with Railgun.
Mental out: the professor wanted to erease her, when they was finished with her. She nearly died by the fire in the newest chp. Maybe the incident, where Touma helped her. The old professor by the shift project tried to kill her.
Number 6: dont know.
Number 7: had some fights. Like again Railgun 5.5, where he obtained some dmg. Maybe he had some cases, where he was near death.
In conclusion: practily every lvl 5 had at last one situation, where they had luck to survive.
So, it is very possible, that earlier lvl 5 had lesser luck.
Esspecial when you take into account, that high lvl esper vanished or died very often in this city. From what the women telled to Uiharu.
Well main reason is Academy City is at least 70-80 years old and Accel is only like 15-16 so it makes sense there were level 5s before he was born

Ok, the prison break plot was about, to give the esper technology to the whole world. When they have around 7 lvl 5 by only 2 million people. How many lvl 5 would be created, if they had the whole world as ressources?^^
And, i dont know how old the city is. The manga/anime didnt mentioned it yet, when i remember it correctly (the index manga only sayedf, that theey used free spaces by Tokio or so, to create this city, where i wondered, how they can have free space).

Railgun is in the middle of setting up some stuff and sadly for the nature of a monthly manga it does take some time. Even astral buddy and mental out had a slow period of being ok/mid. Trust that it will get to the good stuff soon

The question should also be asked is female aliester at the end of index nt stronger or weaker than his male counter part or are they the same? As if I remember correctly the clones were never stated to be inferior to the original and if that is the case since Accelerator effortlessly killed a clone I'd have to put Accelerator above the former number one. Now moving on to my next question did it take aliester and kihara to take down the former number one or did aliester only appear and attacked the former number one because Academy cities super computer told him that with the former number ones death he could create a fake heaven.
I don't care if the current is stronger or if the former is as the current could surpass the former but what I would like to know is why did aliester attack the former number 1 the other question is was the former number one a partner to aliester and if so since it's stated in the light novel that esper abilities was created by aliester himself could it be possible that the one who truly created esper powers was the former number one and if this is the case I'd give the edge to the former number one do to being the true creator of esper powers thus could do what aliester did in the light novel take esper powers away.
Some mastered magic, others had no magical prowess and some were weird creatures. Aleister was stronger when he had access to the hidden world as being able to exist there makes him higher dimensional, but he destroyed it. Reason why the hazards were easily killed is because the prime Aleister (Aleistan) was the one getting the physical blood sign boosts, and Aleister/Crowley Hazards have very bad durability without the blood sign or magic boosts.
Atm we don't know how strong Aleiszon is, but since she crossed the abyss and has coronzons body she's likely very strong. But again without the hidden world, but if she has access to the abyss that would help.
@Aeon of Horus I've only read up to nt Volume 20. I want to continue, but since I work the night shift, it's harder for me to concentrate like I want to. But the question still remains: Why did aliester attack the first number one and could Accelerator stop the real aliester. I do remember a quote Accelerator said, which implies he could kill aliester but was that him being arrogant is he truly able to kill aliester.
I can't say myself as characters state one thing that turns out to be false .
Still the question remains who is the former number 1 and is he truly the former numbers one or is he or she the first esper to exist? Thus the original creator of esper powers.
Also could it be possible that since Accelerator doesn't remember his name it could be making him weaker. Like a true limiter to his powers.
And final question could it be possible that the former number one was killed because she or he had a child and that child was Accelerator. For example what if Aliester is the father of Accelerator and wanted to experiment on his son. But the former number one was against it Thus aliester killed her as he had no love connection with her . I don't know the former number ones gender so all I can do is theorize but still I personally wouldn't mind Accelerator being aliesters child. Is he probably not is it a possibility yes as his parents have yet to be revealed along with his real name. Which could be yukio suzushina.

from what i know from an outside perspective these series always go up and rarely straight sideways. what I mean is that it may LOOK like this ability doesn't get past vector control but that'll likely be as a result of application and the ability if taken as a whole will subordinate vector. it would be more interesting to NOT have either be superior and they just be two different ultimate powers resulting in the circumstances of the confrontation being the primary factor in grid appearing superior
