I think parts about "she would not want to run afoul of even then", "Those monsters could tear through a large group all on their own", "This girl was similar. Manipulating minds was not enough to rest easy against her." and "who she could control but she still had to keep her guard up around" may imply that she can't control them like other espers. Just think about it, she thought that she could control Gunha but he freed himself from her control, that she didn't expected. And how could her power that based on bodily fluids and bioelectricity manipulation, that can be deflected by Mikoto's electromagnetic barrier, go through Accelerator's vector manipulations? Despite the fact that in the 19th volume of the Old Testament, he unconsciously controlled the movement of his blood so as not to die after the attack of Aiwass, it looks unjustifiably self-confident on her part.
Ok so accelerator needs to have a five minute tantrum anytime he gets called a good guy.
If every one of the six level fives calls him a hero he times out.
However dark matter would need to say something positive about accelerator so this plan only works in theory

In fact, he was close to killing Accelerator in NT6 due to psychological warfare, until Mugino talk-no-jutsu'd him into not giving up, plus AIM stalker and plot Fremea popping into the mix.
Also, I heard of a possibility that Dark Matter can replicate other esper abilities.
Kakine and a unhinged Gunha are the only thing between them and death 😂
You dont even need any lvl 5 esper to defeat base (shot) Accel. All you need is MISAKA clones giving last order a "call" and tell her its already bedtime snuggly hours for both of them - she turns off the power by disconnecting the network or just stops the processing as admin then puts him into his hospital bed and climbs ontop of him to tell him he was a bad boy with a pouty face and his punishment is a 24/7 cuddling session. there is like a factual 0 % chance she'd resist that thought - this is called a psychological victory.
And ontop of that also 0% chance that he would attack Last Order.

When Misaka attacks him, he then uses the shocks to charge the batteries. Or just move electrons in his environment to charge them.
The current Accelerator from GT even deflected a God level attack

Depends on when they all ganged up on em, he took a bullet to the head for Last Order, his ability to calculate was limited and only through the Misaka Network can he come up with his calculations now. SO he would be limited to some point if the other level 5's attack him after he got shoot. See I didn't think they would have much of a chance if they attacked him before the brain damage, but let's say after he got shoot they might have a better chance against "Normal" Accelerator.
BUT Another thing to consider is if they all attacked him after the events of WW3 and when he got those new wings, they might still not stand a chance against him ......

@@AeonofHorusI think you are misunderstanding what I'm talking about here. I said it depends on when the other level 5's all attacked Accelerator. So if they attacked him after his Brain Damage... which he got protecting Last Order that's why I mentioned her... he might be easier to beat if all the level 5's attack him because he is dependent on the Misaka Network for all his calculations after the Brain Damage... but if they attacked him before the Brain Damage say during the Sisters Arc he would have a better chance of beating them becausehis calculations weren't dependent on the Misaka Network. You see...
Funny thing is Accel could just form a massive hyper fast tornado and just suffocate them all.
The possibilities of this fight and how it would go down is almost mind boggling. So many different things to consider. While watching all these different things that would have to happen or may happen I thought of 2 very important variables also to throw the proverbial monkey wrench into the works. The first would be collateral damage or property and life. I think over all the clear victory would go to whomever was willing to sacrifice the most. A fight of such magnitude would easily involve everyone and everything around so I believe it would seriously affect how the fight went for most of the espers there. 30 minutes may sound like nothing, but for those of us who have been in fights and battles, 30 minutes is a lifetime. More then you could possibly fathom could happen in 30 minutes or less.
I am certain they would all be affected and be unable to go the distance once the destruction of human life and property became wide scale and they could see people getting killed. Whoever was willing to kill and sacrifice people and property around them to win seriously narrows down the fighting capabilities of most all the espers except perhaps a couple. That takes a certain kind of dark side that most all of them can't overcome except the obvious ones. The fight would take a grossly different turn of events from that alone. Old school Accel for instance has zero problems once he goes all out with that scenario. Does anyone win if everyone dies or the planet is destroyed? Nay I say, a pyrrhic victory in the end but more then likely no win at all.
My other thought was the fact of a fight of such magnitude would draw out all the other espers with all their different powers. They would count as a major distraction and would either get in the way or change the flow of the battle completely. Talk about one hot mess with all those different powers and quirky abilities causing even more mayhem and altering the field of battle. I think all the level 5s would not have such an easy ride when you throw in so many other people and powers. We really don't know all the powers and abilities and how they would affect things. Even Aleister would be drawn into this scenario. Of course the magic users that are there and possibly even the magic gods since they would witness this all out brawl between super powers!
You made a great Video again, got me pumped thinking about all kinds of possibilities. The fight is obviously not happening in a vacuum of space, so we absolutely have to add these new variables I brought up into the mix! Some great theory crafting we can do here.
Kakine and maybe Sogiita is definitely carrying the squad. Since Rensa use Accelerator’s wings and destroyed Beetle Boy, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. If Sogiita can’t understand vector manipulation and has a vector physical attacks, he can touch Accelerator.
The rest of the Level 5’s have vectors, physically weak and already fought Accelerator and lost to him. However if Misaka can use Liquid Proof Railgun with Misaki and AAA helping her, then she might have a chance.
Also Accelerator can literally borrow the planet’s rotational energy for 5 min. He can literally use it to destroy all the Level 5.
Wait a sec for the most part ...the times accelerator has accessed his wings his battery was off so he lost the connection to the misaka network so show can she hack something that's offline
One against pretty early my predictions are he low diffs all of them that aren't kakine
DM form Kakine makes this winnable for them, otherwise if Kakine was in base then they prob get rekt
the ideal version of kakine would be his version able to reproduce personal realities.
Question: would Misaka 5.3 be capable of winning against the Dark Matter Network, assuming she does no self-destruct?
Maybe if she manages to swallow all the Dark Matter up with the black energy, don't think she would though as Misaka wasn't even in control of her actions and wasn't exactly fighting strategically in her Level 6 shift forms

Kakine and Gunha are gonna be carrying, till Accelerator realizes he could manipulate the vectors of their bodies to multiple directions simultaneously and tear them apart on contact.
Then it’s literally just Kakine.
I really enjoyed the video but I have 2 questions
1. It was a lil unclear whether or not all characters would be in character or just do the optimal thing for their win condition. If they are in character there’s no way Accelerators is touching Misaka cus of his Misaka guilt/ last order love right, among other in character things.
2. I always wondered, if accelerator can create plasma from wind, control bio electricity and vectors from a distance (yunno all this impressive stuff), aside from making the headshot nerf narratively worthless, is there a reason y he hasn’t figured out a way to charge the choker with his power somehow? Or like carry a portable charger?
1. I mean, other than Kakine, Accelerator morally now wouldnt wanna kill any of the other Level 5s unless he had an excuse to do it or they pissed him off enough. So this is just to say hypothetically if they were all trying their hardest to win, plot and character motivations aside.
2. IIrc he does carry a spare battery now.

Some things to note about Kakine
1. Kakine can still outwit the reflection as shown with his battle against Rensa. Its no longer a flawless spear, but one that Kakine has to actively focus on priming so that Accelerator is not able to reflect. You might say "Rensa isn't Accelerator". True, she has a better knowledge base to work with because she actually has the power of Dark Matter, and thus should be more capable of reflecting it. Kakine can still stalemate Accelerator
2. While Beetle did job to the wings, he took two hits from them, and they were meant to be fatal. He was also gimped here without the clone ability and restricted to a single form.
3. Kakine has the potential to make Esper powers as proven by his ability to create the holistic rose girl. This opens up a lot more offensive opportunities
Kakine could also be super compatible with magic as well, idol theory especially powering him up (imagine he makes the spear that killed christ with Dark Matter, wouldn't that also confer the properties of that magical item to him as well considering the spear would be made out of him?) and possibly circumventing magic rejection with useless dark matter clumps taking the brunt of it (and possibly the Umidoori approach of using the rejection as an attack). All in all, and even surpassing an ideal Gunha, Kakine has the best shot against pre headshot, post headshot and black wings Accelerator. He does not stand a ghost's ass against White and Platinum unfortunately.
Although that being said, and now I'm moving to pure speculation, Kakine is quite literally this series's best shot for showing a true and (perhaps semi or fully) stable Level 6 so I wouldn't say that white or platinum is the cap that Kakine can't beat. Knowing the Goal of SYSTEM and why the Level 5s are ranked in a particular way, it makes sense. If Kakine is Accelerator's back up, then in the case of Accelerator dying, Kakine would be put forth as the ideal candidate. That does mean that Kakine could be primed, further developed or patch worked to act as a suitable replacement for the shift.

If you want to highball it, in NT8 Kakine has shown to grow his wings to envelope a bunch of ships that can be mistaken for an island.

Notice the keywords being "In an instant."
That's our only frame of reference in regards to his exponential growth of Dark Matter.
And since Kakine states that he has an infinite amount of Dark Matter to produce in NT6, this could infer that he can cover more mass if he continues to grow since he has an infinite amount.
He can probably grow larger than the galaxy in less than say, 20 minutes give or take. Hypothetically speaking.
And since he doesn't have a soul, as stated multiple times in NT, platinum wings can't forcibly remove Kakine's soul.
There will be too much Dark Matter for Accelerator's wings to negate the regeneration as it will be *everywhere.* Damn near omnipresent even.

I know I am a month late, because RUclips doesn't send me notifications for replies for some reason, but I'll explain how this matchup could be debatable.
Anyways, that stuff is pretty irrelevant to Kakine. It's not like shaking a galaxy killed Coronzon or eviscerated Laura Stewart's physical body.
Plus, Kakine could potentially expand the mass of his DM to sizes that are bigger than just a galaxy since he stated that he has an infinite amount of DM.
Also, Kakine, at least his NT6 version, doesn't have a soul. So physically removing it via shaking the galaxy doesn't work here.
I doubt mental out can actually work against Accelerator considering the fact his reflection manage to counter Nepthys spell that absorb moisture from the surrounding.
how does shokuhou's ability work again? can accelerator block her? also can shokuhou use a teleport esper to teleport objects into accelerator? does that even work?
It uses moisture/bioelectricity in the brain, on paper that should have vectors so that statement from the novels that i included in the video is kinda wack. Acceleartor is immune to teleportation, apart from the 'asport' ability shown in the accel anime.
No biggie, it just takes a rock, and roll with one's right hand make it's way in.💀

I’d assume the sheer amount of calculations needed to manipulate brains means that Shokuhou can reverse engineer Accelerator’s vector shield in real time.
The obvious weakness is if Accelerator makes something like Misaka’s passive EM field, a defence where no amount of reverse engineering or understanding of the mechanics helps her ability overcome it, simply due to the very nature of the power interactions invovled.

As op as he is with the rules of esper powers I seen so far power alone doesnt always mean you will win. Every ability has a counter even if its difficult to pull off its just I only seen one person counter him so far.
I think teleportation also works. If anything deadly is teleported directly into is vital spots.

I think Kankei is literally the only one but I think no I believe Misaka will one day take his #1 spot. As Misaka seems to be only using a fraction of her potential. Electricity has a lot more uses then what is currently displayed by Misaka

However, AoH, would you ever consider comparing Toaru’s characters/power systems to say like Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts? Would be interesting to compare the Magic Sides top spells to something in FF.

I just want to point out that Misaki when mind linked with Mikoto unlocked new applications for her powers by sharing maths, imagine if she could do the same with the other level 5's.
well yes since he can block or reflect all their ability, for example railgun, melt downer, 7th rank brute strength can be reflected easily and defeat their best move in mere 1sec like what happen to railgun instant defeat in 1sec when her strongest attack failed.. and as for Mind Control since that ability doesn't work from level 4 above since they have natural barrier against it she is also useless lets not talk about the unknown 6th ranker since obviously he is also not a match. As for Second Rank he is the only capable of bypassing First Rank barrier and reflect But Accelerator calculation ability is equivalent to a super computer even if he is a level zero he is the most smartest in the academy city smarter than scientist which is why even if Second Rank can fight First Rank he is still inferior since Second Rank ability "Dark Matter" is also included in First Rank Ability when he is his near level 6 shift state "Imperfect Angel Mode". The only who can beat Accelerator is Hyouka and the other Fake Angel who beat him to pulp.. That is because the two are equivalent of level 6 or in magic term ANGELS, Accelerator can only reach their level and become stronger than them when he finally mix both magic and science esper ability he casted the same spell used by index to Last Order to suppress Hyouka but what he do i cast it to himself (The spell is in a form of song) as a result he is indeed compatible to evolve into higher being an Angel. That's the very reason why they focus on him to reach level 6 or Angel mode since anyone from rank-3 will die instantly upon reaching level 6 for example mikasa's angel mode is only for a minutes and will destroy her body and explode destroying the entire academy city itself. Second Rank is considered back up plan but that him reaching level 6 w/ help of science but accelerator reached level 6 by combining magic and esper ability.
Idk Acc can block the light itself to don't affect him and Misaki ability is to control the mind of his victims using this way( touching the subject, us an remote control that mean the IR light and electromagnetic waves ) Accelerator can block waves easily, fight over .
Don't Accelerator have resistance to mind manipulation? I am pretty sure Shokuho can't manipulate Accelerator. Also the white wings appear when Accelerator wants to protect someone right?

Because the fact it doesnt work on misaka means there has to be vectors involved, which if he can calculate using the network, she cant mind control him.
Not necessarily mind manipulate, Misaki uses signals and manipulation's brain fluid to do her stuff so Accel can resist that since it's physical. But something like the blind dragon who is completely mental would probably take him out.

And if it’s the old Accelerator, then he doesn’t even need to worry about a time limit, he beat Misaka by standing still, like this man was literally afk and she still lost… The only one that he'd really have to worry about is Kakine for obvious reasons
I mean how does Accels fights with high tiers even go. He's getting whooped until he gets a power up mid fight and wins. Like even if he's losing he'll get new plot wings and win. But AC won't let level 5s die as mugino said so yeah.

Hello, I rarely write comments, but as an author you are very interesting to me. In such a comparison, I've always wondered why "Kakine" can't beat the Accelerator. The plan for how he can win is very simple. Just remove all the oxygen on the planet and the Accelerator lost everything. Taking into account the infinite clones and the properties of dark matter, it is not difficult to do this. If he wants people to pour out, then let him cover them with his matter and provide oxygen. Or simply destroy the earth's magnetic field. To cool the core of the planet, etc. in this case, first we save the right people, then we destroy the planet and hooray, we won. If we are talking about platinum wings, then it turns out the same as it was in the Dragonball manga when Goku and Vedgeta, having a blue super Saiyan and huge strength, could not go into outer space and had to restrain the power of their attacks so as not to destroy the planet. Base accelerator pre headshot, no wings, took control of the entire earth's rotation and slowed it down. Now, with his power ups, and ability to control vectors from a distance, he can logically and very likely would just negate kakines actions of removing oxygen, destroying the planet and other such possibilities of wide spread damage. Then again accelerator can alter gravity vectors, he could just ramp up the force of gravity and pin all the clones in place. Or since he can now interact with dark matter via vectors, he can just control the dark matter directly. Aka touch a clone and have it blow apart. Or... with white wings, alter the vectors of all darkmatter in the area and force it into a single point, and destroy it. Accel has sooooo many possibles in regards to what he can/could do, it's not even a close fight. Example, if he really wanted to kill everyone except kakine with one move, all he would have to do is pull out his white wings so he can alter vectors without touch, steal the rotation energy from the earth, as he's already done, and then transfer that to the other level 5s, and just accelerate them at eachother 😂. Or simple invert gravity's directional vectors and ping everyone into space. 😅

If this is NT6 Kakine, then that won't matter. Plus, Kakine can just create his own oxygen using Dark Matter if this is OT Kakine.

He can slow down the earth's rotation, but he can not destroy the planet. If he did, he'll be stuck in space with no oxygen. So he'd be killing himself, while NT6 Kakine is still sentient in space as he requires no oxygen due to not being an organic being.

He's never shown to do that, even in his second fight with Kakine, nor has he shown to do this with his wings out.
In fact, Accelerator was struggling in their second fight. To the point where Kakine almost killed him by impairing his calculations through psychological warfare but was saved by Mugino.
Plus, Accelerator is able to reflect Dark Matter but has never shown manipulating it directly.
That's like saying that Accelerator can just alter the force of gravity through out all his fights, but he has never went that route.
Some points to take note of:
While Shokuhou could do something about Accelerator's mind, that's on paper only, Accelerator got brain damaged and now he can't use his calculation on his own. For Mental Out power to work out when Accelerator is in esper mode, she would need to be as strong as the Misaka network and know how it works out. I don't see that happening without Exterior aid, and even then is not a guarantee.
Even if we use the strongest Accelerator we have right now, if Misaka has access to the AAA then she could actually get some advantage. Kihara Noukan said that if Rensa-ciborg was made to defeat espers if necessary, then he and the AAA where made to beat the irregular beings, including even Aiwass, so is probably to be something that can counter black, white and even platinum wings.
Aihana Etsu is the real deal here. We can talk about strategies and chances, but all of that relies a bit on luck and skill, and if Aihana can actually get the better of the level 5, then the chances of these options become more likely to happen.
There other things to think about, but these tree sums the main points I guess.

If you rank the Beginning Child and Frillsand #G, Accelerator could struggle without his power ups.
Mental Out working on Accelerator is fair. Mental Out is hax and mostly bypasses power levels. That doesn't mean Accelerator is anything less than #1. The comparisons between Espers doesn't have to be linear. It could be like rock paper scissors (think pokemon starters), where match up wins could be somewhat circular and circumstancial.
Just for example (may not be accurate): Accelerator beats Misaka, Misaka beats Misaki, and Misaki beats Accelerator.
Problem is Misaki isn’t exactly immune to overestimating her powers and #3 cannot be controlled thanks to her control over electricity. (e.g. Misaki may not know Accelerator can use his power on brains).
Accelerator’s Vector manipulator can overide Misaka’s Control over her electricity so he might still just nope Mental Out, he has explicitly done some ridiculous mental screwery to brains before using that control though he may have to lower his Reflection Defenses.
Misaka Network Accelerator is probably just outright immune. 20000 Mini #3’s + Accelerator’s Data Manipulation is just too much for Shokuhou.
Edit: Not to mention there’s no way in hell Accelerator hasn’t fought practically every form of Esper Mind Manipulation before. This is a guy who regularly gets jumped by people. No way no one thought, “Well lets try Mental abilities”.
@@actuallyreallybored3552 The theory that Accelerator can reverse Mental Out is just that a theory. Word of God is that Mental Out can control Accelerator. Apparently, the automatic defense of Accelerator doesn't work on Mental Out (since the author said Mental Out is able to get past it to control Accelerator). Once under control, Accelerator can not consciously reverse Mental Out.
Even in the unlikely scenario where Accelerator could consciously reverse the control aspect of Mental Out, the permanent brain damage Mental Out can cause to it victims is irreversible. Not even Imagine Breaker can reverse the brain damage.

In Imaginary Fest was scene where Accelerator and Gunha fight each other. Gunha's power was reflected. Just think about it, Gunha don't know how his powers work and can't perfectly control them. And even if he copy Accelerator's power, who will control vectors better? Gunha who don't know how works his own power, alone other esper powers, or Accelerator who perfectly knows his own power and vector math?

Firstly, if Gunha can't handle vectors better than the Accelerator, then his blow will not go further than the Sugitani attack from Volume 19 of the Old Testament. It will be like a conflict of abilities where the less perfect one will receive more significant damage anyway.
