Well she looked 15+ years younger. Pretty impressive on Louis and his team's part. At times they come up short... but every once in a while they hit a long homerun.
Especially at 4:58, though no idea what she's looking at. The second woman's makeover took more than 15 years off, she looked like a completely different person.

Almost every woman can pull off a bob. The hairstyle celebrated its 100 year anniversary. I think it's a cop out though. Playing it safe over and over again. But sometimes the style looks terrible on a woman and it makes me wonder if he put any real thought into it.
Would be fun if they offered a behind-the-scenes video, not of man/woman having hair cut, washed and then makeup, etc., but rather private consultation between Louis and his crew regarding subject's shape of face, state of hair, natural coloring, and then Louis' or crew's presentation of ideas to subject. I'm sure like any workplace there are disagreements, and a few of consequence.
That would be interesting. I would like to see that.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. She was stunning before, but the hair and makeup seemed to age her, still pretty just looks older.
Anyone else notice how many makeovers have their hair dyed red. I've watched several ambush make overs and most get red hair..
They almost always change the hair color, and the reason is that in the reveal people want to see a new look. If they only slightly tweaked the original look would you watch? And fair to say that often the new look is not an improvement but an alternative pretty look.

@@kurtdahle Oh, well yeah, watching enough of these it becomes obvious that women who want to be chosen show up with no make-up, hair clean but unbrushed/combed, and dressed as frumpy as possible without looking homeless. Would be fun to hear an interview with women who weren't selected on what the scene was like prior to the choosing. Can't you imagine some working at looking more like a wreck as the big moment approaches?
